Wang vs. Rowe

[Mr Main Event]

Towel Match for the Women's Championship.

(Fade in: We find "The Blonde Bomber" Jennifer Rowe sitting in a large chair in her apartment. She's sitting down, watching the TV. She's looking pretty closely, so it appears she may be watching GXW matches, and no doubt, the matches in which she has faced Trynyty Wang. Rowe frowns at what she sees, shaking her head a couple of times, then, at one point, she gets this sly smirk on her face and laughs slightly. Then, there is a knock on the door and Rowe slowly gets up from her chair to answer the door.

And standing in the doorway is her tag team partner "Lady Lightning" Lori Wilson, a frown on her face.)

Lori: What's gotten into you, Jenn?

Jennifer: Why do you care? You seemed more interested in Trynyty Wang's condition than you were in mine.

Lori: Well, I can understand you being unhappy with losing a match, but what I want to know is why the heck you attacked Wang after the match... and along with that, why you went to using a foreign object during the match?

Jennifer: Again... why do you care? Like I said... you were more interested in Trynyty Wang's condition than in mine. I thought you were my friend.

Lori: If I wasn't your friend, I wouldn't be asking about why you were resorting to such tactics like you did in that match with Trynyty. And just because I have respect for Trynyty doesn't mean you should be snapping at me like this.

Jennifer: So why don't you stand by my side instead of questioning me? Huh? Especially when that referee was knocked out and I had that match won...

Lori: (interrupting) Only after using a foreign object. And Jenn, you and I were taught that it's wrestling talent that carries you, not breaking the rules.

Jennifer: (rolls eyes) Yeah, that certainly got me a lot in GXW, hasn't it? I've got all the wrestling talent in the world and yet there's referees not paying any attention to what's going on.

Lori: Jenn, listen to yourself. I know you've always taken a lot of pride in yourself, but this is just ridiculous. I have never known you to be the one grasping for excuses or taking shortcuts.

Jennifer: Maybe if I'd get a fair match once in a great while, there wouldn't be any need for me to take shortcuts.

(She turns away from Lori, clearly not happy.)

Jennifer: And as for you, if you are my friend, you'll be there for that towel match... and you won't throw it in.

Lori: Oh, so here you are, insisting that I do something for you.

Jennifer: (turning back to Lori) Are you saying you WON'T do that for me.

Lori: I am only saying that if you are going to push me around into something, I may not do it.

Jennifer: (shakes her head) Some friend you are. I thought you'd stand by my side in anything I'd do.

Lori: I'd be more than happy to stand by the side of somebody I call a friend. But now... (shakes her head) you're not acting like a friend at all. You're just bossing me around.

Jennifer: (rolls eyes) Whatever. If you aren't going to be there for me, then fine... have it your way.

(Lori sighs, shaking her head again.)

Lori: Look... I'll be there, all right. But I'm going to tell you two things...

Number one, get this attitude of yours in shape. I have never known you to be this arrogant, Jenn. Having pride in yourself is one thing, but your attitude right now is one I cannot stand.

Number two... watch your tactics. It's not you at all. You were always somebody who believed hard work would pay off in the long run, and now here you are, trying to look for shortcuts.

(She turns to leave.)

Lori: Just think about what I've said, Jenn... and make the right choices.

(Lori now departs as Jenn just stares at the open door. She then walks forward and starts to close the door.)

Jennifer: Yeah, Lori... I'll think about what you said...

(She shuts the door.)

Jennifer: ...but not that I'm going to abide by it.

I've spent too damn long going that old-fashioned route. And it's not getting me anywhere. Too many times, I've been just screwed out of that title. Maybe if Lori would take a little more initiative like I've seen is necessary to do, she might be a champion again.

But she's not. And I am. And that's why I am going to win that Women's match at Global Warfare.

I could care less if Lori or anybody else respects Trynyty Wang, because I sure don't. Having a man interfere on her behalf many months ago... referees not paying attention to when I have the pinfall... there's always been some stroke of luck that's gone Wang's way to allow her to keep that title.

Well, it's not happening any more. This time, I finish Trynyty for good and take that title. Then maybe Lori will understand what it truly takes to be the best in GXW.

(She then goes back to sit down in her chair.)

Jennifer: And if Lori still doesn't understand what it takes... then it's going to be her loss, not mine.

(She goes back to watching the wrestling tapes as we fade out.)

Lady Luck is officially G-O-N-E!

*{Fade In}*

*{The camera opens up inside a locker room. The camera pans around until it comes across, GXW Women's champion Trynyty Wang sitting alone and quiet on a bench. She is wearing tight deep purple blue jeans tight up top, but flare down around the ankles like bell bottoms, black high heel boots, and a purple with gold trim lining halter top. She sits gazing quietly into her GXW Women's title resting in her hands. The shine of the belt bounces off and reflects into her big beautiful brown eyes just enough to where the camera picks it up. After a few moments, her best friend and Twin Phoenix tag team partner, Yeh Shen Li enters the room. As Yeh Shen walks up to Trynyty, the camera moves into position, let's listen in.}

Yeh Shen Li: "Trynyty, what's going on, why aren't you practicing with me? You have a match to get ready for this weekend against Jennifer Rowe for your GXW Women's title."

Trynyty Wang: "I know, I know, I'll be there in a few minutes."

Yeh Shen: {Sensing something is wrong with her friend, Yeh Shen sits down on the bench right next to Trynyty.} "Talk to me Trynyty, what's wrong? Is this about Rowe and what she did to you these passed few weeks?"

Trynyty: "Yeah you could say that. What she did, what she said, everything is has been sinking in deeper and deeper. It's like it's been burrowing in my brain like a splinter driving me mad, and I don't know what to do."

Yeh Shen: "Trynyty, you and I both know that in order to defeat your enemy, you must first defeat yourself and then your worse fear. If you don't take them out then you have no way of defeating Rowe at Global Warfare, and she will take your GXW Women's title. Then you'll have to spend another year trying to win it back."

Trynyty: "I know what sensai said to us over and over again. I guess I'm trying to find the first step in taking her on."

Yeh Shen: "By burying yourself in pity, and hope it all goes away?"

Trynyty: "No...not even. I just don't get it. I admit, I first won the women's title through controversial means because somebody wanted to discredit me and steal my honor, and even though the road to regaining my honor while keeping my title was long and more than difficult, I was able to prove that I am a truly capiable champion. Now that I have proven that I am THE TRUE GXW WOMEN'S CHAMPION, people still wish to consider my reign as nothing more than luck, or some fluke."

Yeh Shen: "So you're saying...

Trynyty: "That I'm sick and tired of everytime I defeat somebody NOW, they want to continually call it a fluke win. They can't admit that I'm beat them fair and square."

Yeh Shen: "Yeah but you have to admit, that she was right to say that because of what Zell did for you and costed her the match and the title."

Trynyty: "Yeah but that was a LONG LONG time ago, and it's not like I put Zell up to it. He did that entirely on his own. I did't tell him anything. In fact I didn't want any help against her. Yeah it was a fluke, but every other time I've faught her, I've beaten her. I've beaten her once before, and I know that I can beat her again. I will beat her again. I'll admit, I will gladly hand my title over to anybody who proves themselves and defeats me, but Rowe is not one of those people. I would gladly lose to people like you and Wilson who would earn that title and would beat me fair and sqaure, but I will NOT fall to the likes of people who whine and make excuses when things don't go their way. Rowe thinks that my so-called luck will run out at Global Warefare. What she fails to realize is that I didn't ask for lady luck in my corner before and right before the match I will personally roundhouse her head right out the door."

Yeh Shen: "Well if it's any consolation, I'll watch your back to make sure Rowe doesn't try anything during the match."

Trynyty: "Yeh Shen, you are my friend, and our friendship means EVERYTHING to me, but don't take this the wrong way for what I am about to say to you. I can't have you as my friend at Global Warfare. I need you as my oponant. I need you to be just like every other girl vying for my Women's title. This is something that I have to do ALONE. Do you understand Yeh Shen?"

Yeh Shen: "Yeah I do, but are you absolutely sure?"

Trynyty: "Absolutely. If Rowe is as good as she claims she is, then she is gonna need everything she can to take me out and thus take my title this weekend. Bottomline, if she's gonna beat me then she's gonna have to do it by cheating because any other way will not happen. As long as there is fight in me, I will not rest until one of us is still standing with the title held high and our names are annouced over the speakers, proclaimed as the winner. Let's face it, she will NOT beat me by conventional means. She's gonna have to cheat to win, and if she does that then the truth will come out that I am the TRUE WOMEN'S CHAMPION and she is the dillusional lying fool."

Yeh Shen: "Wow Trynyty, it seems like you have this all figured out then?"

Trynyty: "Hmmm...sort of but not really. I am just making sure I have the basics covered going into this match. I'm just making sure that even if I lose, in a sense I look good in the process. As long as I fight like a champion, I'll be happy. I mean I will do everything I can to win this match...WITHOUT CHEATING. But even if I lose, I will make sure that Jennifer Rowe, the Blonde LipBomb knows who she's fighting, and she will know and respect the name Trynyty Wang after it's all said and done, and the dust has settled. More importantly, the GXW will know exactly who I am."

Yeh Shen: "And who's that?"

Trynyty: "I...AM...THE...GXW...WOMEN'S CHAMPION!"

Yeh Shen: "Now hypothetically speaking, what happens if you do lose, what will you do then?"

Trynyty: "I know know, the sky's the limit, it's what we make of it. There's always you Yeh Shen. I've always thought that you would makea GREAT GXW women's champion, but even if we wanted, we could really piss off the men and enter the male's tag team division and do something that nobody has ever done before...

CAPTURE The GXW Unified World tag team titles...

The sky's the limit to what we do, but we must seize our opportunities as they come, and not take them but snatch them up like theives in the night."

{Yeh Shen doesn't say anything, but just smiles and nods in satisfactory agreement with Trynyty.}

Trynyty: "I'd thought that you'd like that."

Yeh Shen: {Snapping back into reality} "But Trynyty, what about the higher ups? You know the ones that tooks us out of the tag team division because we almost go hurt at the hands of the veteran Motor City Maniacs, and put us in this women's division, won't they have something to say about us when they find out that we are planning on making a return to the tag team ranks, let alone all of the other teams?"

Trynyty: "Yeh Shen, again this is all future for now, we'll cross that bridge and deal with our critics when the time comes, but for now, I need to focus on one single critic and her name is JENNIFER ROWE, who will know that I am no fluke. I am not lucky. I am not only A CHAMPION. I am THE GXW WOMEN'S CHAMPION! Now what do you say we wrapped this conversation up. We've got business to take care of...er I mean I have business to take care of."

Yeh Shen: "Even though I won't be at ringside, I an help train you and get you ready to fight Rowe this weekend can't I so you can beat her?"

Trynyty: "I wouldn't have it any other way. Now let's get some work done."

{Yeh Shen and Trynyty walk out the door as the camera slowly fades out.}
