A friend of mine is a promoter in the NYC area - he has had some fairly big local (and beyond) success the past few years with promoting a twice-annual event called HATE the HATE, which is anti-bullying and anti-discriminatory. He's been in talks with the Saldana sisters to take the event to Los Angeles as well, and I think that's happening this fall/winter.
But he is currently looking to get an official HATE the HATE website created and he has zero coding skills. Anyone interested? I don't know how much he's willing/able to pay but if you can be flexible and want to get in good with someone who literally has his pulse on the metal and hard rock underground of NYC, let me know and I'll hook you up.
