REBEL Pro Wrestling currently has an angle going where the character I handle, Mikey Massacre, is offering shots at his Number One Contender Trophy. To veterans and newbies alike. You beat him and win the trophy... you name the time and place for your World Title shot.

“Heavy Metal Machine” by the Smashing Pumpkins cues up and immediate booing ensues. Through the curtain walks Mikey Massacre, holding his Number One Contender Trophy in one hand, a microphone in the other. Instead of his black singlet, he’s wearing a black jumpsuit with ‘MM’ on one shoulder and ‘SELLOUT’ on his back. He takes off his aviator sunglasses to look out at the booing fans with a smirk on his face, seemingly enjoying the negative atmosphere he has created with his entrance. He walks down the aisle, hops onto the apron, then steps through the ropes.
MIKEY MASSACRE: Thanks for the greetings, friends.

MIKEY MASSACRE: Here’s my challenge to every piece of **** in the REBEL locker room. Hell, here's my challenge to every piece of **** in this whole entire industry. You want a shot at being the Number One Contender? You want to get a shot at Vincent Black and the REBEL gold? I am willing to give a shot to ANYONE. That’s right… ANYONE. I don’t give a **** if you’ve been in REBEL Pro for two years, two months, two days or two hours… I’ll give you a shot.
All I ask… is that you denounce REBEL Pro. Whether it’s burning a REBEL effigy, telling the fans to go to hell, beating up one of REBEL Pro’s heroes, I don’t care, but if it’s clear you’re making yourself look like a piss ant to REBEL Pro and its fans, I’ll give you a shot. If I think you’re being inauthentic and planning on apologizing to the people you piss off right after you get your shot, then I won’t grant the shot… The bar isn’t high, folks. But if you want a shot, it’s what you gotta do.
Why am I doing this? To prove something to all of you ass clowns. Because I know one thing. And it’s that everyone in the locker room, everyone in this damn industry, cares more about championships and personal glory than this company and its fans. I’m going to prove that I was the only one who truly gave a **** about this company and its fans. The fans are going to see this as their heroes turn to villains in order to get at my Trophy and then that World Title. The fans will finally see The Truth!
Mikey drops the microphone to immense booing. He puts his aviators back on, smiling, as he makes his way down the aisle and back through the curtain.

For heels, it's obvious what you can do to get a shot at it. For faces, it's a little more challenging if your character wouldn't do as Mikey asks, but if you make a challenge and come up with a feasible reason why Mikey would accept the challenge, he will do so. There's a lot of ways you can go with this... if your characters are more neutral, they can debate what to do. You can even have a face character come who is unable to resist the challenge, then try to win back the support of the fans somehow.
If you try to win the Trophy and lose and want to leave REBEL, that's fine. Obviously, our hope is that you'll realize how freaking cool it is there and will stick around.
