NYCW / ESW Hall Of Fame
Here are a lucky few who have been in either the NYCW or ESW who
added to the fed and help grow its rich history.
Class of 2003
JT Blackout
Blackout was a icon before he came to the NYCW. Even thou he
is semi active to this day, Blackout helped the NYCW/ESW grow and
added some creditability to our shows with a cult like following
That lasted all the way to the World championship as well. Never one for titles, He
did hold the NYCW World title before vacating it. The door is always
opened to Blackout and his crazy pack of friends.
Class of 2004
Horance Pinkerton
Horance came to the NYCW to join Devo in their quest to gain
total control of the NYCW. While Devo retired Horance hung around
with the Toker's Champ Frank Merritt and also won the NYCW
World title and had memorable matches with Kid Krazy.
Soul Reaver
Even thou he was eventually fired from the NYCW his place in
history will never be forgotten. Soul Reaver picked a fight with
everyone and anyone including Steve Sinclair which lead to the historic
Flaming Casket buried alive match at the Pepsi Arena. Soul Reaver
held the TV title for a record 6 weeks.
Kid Krazy
While some might say that Kid Krazy wasn't the best to have ever stepped
into a NYCW/ESW ring, I would beg to differ. Kid Krazy wasn't much of
a talker, he was straight to the point and wasn't some one who was going
to bullshit you around. He said what he had to say and then backed up
in the ring. The only superstar to go undefeated at any Kick Ass Inc show
he was in, Kid Krazy held Tag Team gold and was the first ever Survivor
champion.
Rayne
A Triple Crown Winner as a Two time TV champion, former World champion, and ESW Survivor champion. Rayne is ESW's all time winningest superstar
with 49 plus victories...... It's hard to come up with a reason why one of
the biggest stars in NYCW/ESW history shouldn't be in the hall of fame.
Eddie
Eddie was NYCW/ESW's first real superstar and was also the very first
World Champion, a title he would hold a total of 3 times/ Eddie also picked
up the NYCW/ESW Tag Team titles with fellow HOF Kid Krazy and the 29 victories
(2nd all time) is just one more reason why Eddie is a Hall of Famer.
Class of 2005
Zander Thrash
Zander Thrash, the odd ball of the ESW. He was the first to beat Exodus, first for the tag Team titles and then for Exodus's World title. The leader to the Happy happy joy joy team with Larcen night.
Larcen Night
Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion, Larcen won every title in a 8-9 month span, the single most dominant run from any ESW star, ever. Owns one of the best W/L records in the ESW.
Steve Hawkins
Hawkins came in and owned the ESW World title while he had it. As close as unbeatable before Griffin came along. Injury cut his time short but still held onto the World title for a one time record of 56 days.
Class of 2006
Exodus
When it was all said and done, Exodus ended up being the poster boy of what being a champion is all about in the ESW. Exodus held the ESW TV title a ESW record 189 days. Exodus also held the World and Survivor championships to become a ESW Triple Crown title holder. Exodus retired in the fall of 2005, but he is not forgotten.
Steve Sinclair
While it is still unclear if Steve Sinclair did indeed die in the barn fire or not is up in the air, But one of ESW's founding members hasn't been seen since. Much like his wrestling days Steve was driven to bring out the best in everyone, even if that meant "pushing" you some.
Class of 2007
Devo
Devo is the guy who was the straw who stirred the pot. ESW‘s first true heel, Devo along with Pinkerton ran a mock in the earlier years of the ESW. While his time here in the ESW was brief it was successful. He is ESW‘s first ever TV champion and the first evil character in the ESW.
Class of 2008
Rob “Slipstream“ Richards
As Eddie was bowing out of the ESW to go kick a ball around for a living, Another Englishmen named Slipstream entered the ESW. The World’s smallest Heavyweight started to crave out his mark in the ESW like no one before or since his arrival. 84 victories, 10 titles, 6 WOTM, A MVP and Soul Survivor winner placed Slip in a class all his own, the Elite Class. The 5 time World champion holds many records and the sick part is, he might not be done.
Class of 2009
Prozac
Prozac will always be remembered for always winning the super elite matches. Tag Team titles in 08, Soul Survivor 08, 3 time Survivor champion, and the only other member of the Elite Class joining only Slipstream. 4th on the all time wins list. And Prozac is just getting started.
Jack “Widowmaker” Rice
Widowmaker is one of 3 ESW stars to once hold the ESW World title 3 times. A triple Crown Winner and a legend in hi sown right prior to the ESW, Widowmaker was one tough opponent every time he hit the ring.
Class of 2010
Brian Hunter
Brian Hunter was the only guy from the short lived ESW/RCW merger to give the ESW a try. That should have told you that this guy loves a challenge. 2 ESW World titles and 41 victories later, not to mention sweeping the 2008 year end awards Hunter left his mark on the sport. Since he first stepped into the ESW all he did was win….and hold championship gold.
