When Jack “Widowmaker” Rice joined the NYCW way back in 2003 he was far from a rookie. He was at that time one of the few established stars that Steve could get to join the NYCW to give the NYCW some credit as a legitimate federation. Jack quickly won the NYCW World title and is 1 of two stars in NYCW/ESW history to hold both the NYCW and ESW World titles. Jack went on to win the ESW World title 3 times, the TV title twice and one run as the Survivor champion crowning himself a Triple Crown Winner. In 2009 Jack Rice was elected to the ESW Hall of Fame. Nowadays Jack comes and goes as he pleases and always stirring up trouble when he is in town.

Bio/Background:
Jack Rice grew up the second to youngest of 8 kids. Ever since he
was a kid his family had always been wrestling fans. At an early
age he began running the streets. He was always a fighter no matter
what the circumstance was he would as always find a reason to throw
down. As he grew his older brothers got him into bodybuilding. But
nothing seemed to calm his temper and it eventually cost him. When
he was 18 he was convicted of manslaughter for killing a man during
a barroom brawl. He spent four years in prison for that crime. During
his prison stint he build his body up to a huge 385 pound frame
he has today. His only other recreation was watching wrestling on
TV when he could. After his release he found out that three of his
brothers had become professional wrestlers. Through them he met
the man who would train him to wrestle and control his temper, Jeremy
"The Boss" Beltran. The Boss' martial arts background
lent to giving Jack the discipline he needed to gain control over
every aspect of his life. He learned not only the fundamentals of
wrestling but became a fairly descent technical and submission wrestler,
an oddity for someone his size. The Boss contacted a few of his
friends in the wrestling business and found NYCW, a perfect place
for Jack to pay his dues and learn the ropes of the profession.
Jack wants to one day be at the top of the profession but is ready
to begin his true training here under the guidance of one of the
industries great wrestling families.
