This is the story of the tragic fall of a hero, the destruction of a once kind human being who found himself caught in a twisted spiral of pain and corruption. This former hero, misled by lies he believes to be true, had a journey ahead of him that would with patience take him to a platform higher then any man had ever made before.
He was on his way to a brighter future, the accomplishment of the very dreams he'd held since childhood. Yet it was his impatience, his belief of deserving what he'd yet to earn...that propelled him into a world of darkness, his own heart draining of any warmth it once held for human life in particular.
He was, in a sense, becoming that which he had fought against for so long.
And with eyes blackened by the dark spirits within him, he casts a single glance out onto the horizon. His future lies unclear now, clouded by his new path and obscured by the lies he is being told. He no longer believes in the good of man, but rather the good of himself and his own future. He cares not for the rules, but for how to manipulate them and allow them to be beneficial to him, and not to his adversaries.
It is during these troubled times however, that the very adversaries he is to face are those he held close to him in a time long ago.
Take head, dear reader...this is not a story to be told to those whom expect a happy ending. For not everything in this world is comprised of fairies, shooting stars and knights in shining armor. There are monsters which creep beneath your bed, and nightmares can become reality far easier then any dream you'll ever have.
This is the story of a young boy's life, growing through the best and worst times of his life, all the while slowly becoming the hero he'd wanted to be for so long.
