A Showcase

[font color= red]MP:[/font][font color= black] Somebody up top got their head out of their ass and realized it's time to showcase the hottest talent on the card... we're not the largest arms in the world, and we don't go EXTREME unless it's necessary... But we do our damndest to give the fans what they want!

But maybe... maybe they just want to hold us down by putting us in a useless match, a match that - with all due respect to my old friends the Hip Hop Express - has nothing to do with furthering our careers. Either way... it's a SHOWCASE of the guys that have the best chance of dethroning Evan Aho... a showcase of STELLAR talent...

Standing in vignette form, Michael Plett - Wicked Sight - is clad in the usual... a focused yet energetic focus about him, as is often times apparent.

[font color= red]MP:[/font][font color= black] Shane Southern, a man I can call friend... he's not the youngest, but he's never had his run at the top. Lawrence Stanley, he's been at the edge of superstardom and he just came short... and me, who came in with Stanley, and the same of me can be said. Wicked Sight and Lawrence Stanley... we've had our differences, but it's time to show now that the talent that hasn't ever been promoted to the top is just as good as the FRANCHISE PLAYERS!

Hornet said I was trying to split the roster up... some fickle, young vs. old. Bull. Hornet's just afraid of the guys that haven't been on marquee... just afraid of us taking his Franchise spot.

And us three are the ones that can do it more than any other.

GUNS - you want to say that you didn't play your music? Or that Hornet had it done? All I've got to say is, I've laid the challenge for Fish Fund... stay out of my business until then... I know your goal is to stop guys like Southern and Stanley and myself from taking over, by destroying the whole place... if new stars aren't made - of course, GUNS' name lives forever. But when an Evan Aho shocks the world... when a DEACON is etched into people's minds... when a wicked sight known as Mike Plett main events Pay-Per-Views... it diminishes his legacy. You're worse than Clinton, you Bozo.

PrimeTime, another PRIME TIME to show just why WE run the pageantry... and I have full faith in Stanley and Southern, that they'll take care of their end of this work.

And nothing can stop evolution...

Evolution?

GUNS: Nothing can stop evolution? (Chuckles.) That's where you're wrong, son. You can have your little showcase...you, Shane, Larry... you go out there and you put on a show and entertain the masses. Give them a glimpse at the future. A future they'll NEVER see. (Smiles.)

You see, Sight...here's the thing. I don't have anything against you. In a way, I respect the fact that you're either MAN enough...or STUPID enough...to call me out and get in my face. But, you can respect in one hand and crap in the other, and see which one gets filled faster. All the respect in the world won't stop me from kicking your scrawny ass at Fish Fund. All the respect in the world won't stop me from kicking your buddy Larry's ass in Kansas City.

It's not about young vs. old, Mike. I'm not here to "protect my spot." Hell, three months ago, the only spot I had was on my ranch in San Antonio, Texas. I'm not here to protect, I'm here to DESTROY. And I'm sorry, Mike...I'm sorry that you, and Shane Southern, and Larry will NEVER have your place in the sun. I'm sorry that you'll NEVER reach the heights that Hornet has reached...that Mark Windham has reached...that Mike Randalls has reached...and yes, Mike, that EYE have reached.

It's not because you don't have the talent to reach the top...it's that by the time I'm through here, there will BE no top to reach. I'm here to bring this place to the GROUND. The sooner you get that through your skull, Mike, the better off you'll be.

You've bitten off more than you can chew, Sight...you've accelerated your own demise. It was bad enough when you just had to worry about me. But now you've gone and spit in Bugbrain's direction...the God-sent child...the Franchise. (Smiles.) Sight, the Nazis couldn't fight a two-front war...and neither can you.

Those who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it. Just like the Axis Powers got mowed down by the eventual Superpowers, so too will your little youth movement. Shane Southern...Evan Aho... Larry Stanley...and yourself...bodies scattered...casualties of war. If you choose to fight a two-front war, Mike, with me on one side...and Bugbrain on the other...in the end, there is one inevitable conclusion. Hornet and I meet in the middle. (Laughs.) And then perhaps, the REAL fight begins.

There is one thing that can stop your evolution, Mike. Your own pride...your own ego...your own STUPIDITY. And not only will it bring you down...not only will it bring your friends down...but in due time, Mike...it will bring this whole COMPANY down. What can stop evolution, Mike? ARMAGEDDON. And that's what EYE bring to the table.

MP: Two front war? GUNS... It's been Wicked Sight versus the entire CSWA for the whole time I've been here, with not many allies along the way.

Sure... me and Blade and Havoc got together, but you see where a guy like Blade will get you.

I'm not afraid to fight anybody, and I'm smart enough to realize that I'll get my ass handed to me for it, at one point or another. But that's what it takes - no fear, GUNS. You're just a man, Hornet's just a man, Evan Aho's just a man... the guys at GXW, most of them are less than men... but this "movement" you like to speak of - this "young vs. old" that you and Hornet think I'm trying to pull... it's bull. What I'm trying to accomplish has no age boundaries... it has to do with destroying the glass ceiling. This place runs around Hornet, you say? Maybe it does. And damnit, this place has ran around the top guys for way too long. Evan Aho's the world champion, but he's not the focal piece of this company - that's a damned shame. The only thing I'm doing, GUNS, is making sure that men like me have the chance to wrestle the best, so we can entertain the great fans of the CSWA!

Biting off more than I can chew? Why don't you prove that to me, GUNS? You've yet to show me that I'm doing that. All you've done is jump me from behind, and your music has played over the PA to mess with my head... whether that was you or not, all you've proven to be is a coward. And that's it, man. You think you're an ARMaggedon? You're a mortal, GUNS, just like me... the thing is, and you can ask guys like Apocalypse and Shawn Stevens, and that coward Gemini... I'm a giant killer.

Lawrence Stanley and Shane Southern... I can speak for neither. They're two guys trying to beat the politics and kick some ass, win some gold, that's all I know for sure... And don't ever peg Evan Aho as "for the cause"... But I'd be willing to bet they've got more than enough to say about your claims that we'll all be laying here on the battlefield of GUNS' destruction. No... GUNS... all you've been able to prove is that you're a big lumbering oaf with some sort of obsession for Hornet...

And since I'm here, and Hornet's the subject of the day, Hornet may be the common denominator... You accuse me of bringing the GXW over as I'm coming up to challenge you for the United States title?

I've worked damn hard to earn the respect of the CSWA fans - I've given my body and my soul, and it's moments like Anniversary and Elvis Lives that it pays off, it's moments like hearing my music get drowned out by twenty-thousand screaming fans... it's moments like that the make it worth that. And you're going to cast doubt over the fans, by making me out to be the bad guy? You're going to try and take the steam from my sails? You're going to take the only thing that keeps me going in the ring, the fans, and make them think I'm the reason for rejects like Dan Ryan being on our show?

Even though I've never pinned you before, Hornet... you know in your heart I've let you go. At the time, there were more important statements to be made than pinning Hornet. And now I get my chance to prove it, and you make those claims, and then SOMEBODY plays GUNS' music... that's fine...

But just remember... your accusations are going to have dear, dear reprecussions one day, and a day that's very soon. It's all just fuel in the fire... the fire that burns inside the evolution of a FREAK you can't stop...

Obsession

(FADEIN: GUNS sitting in his hotel room, smiling.)

GUNS: Let's get one thing straight, Sight. There's a reason why you're coming out in front of the camera time and time again whining about never getting your time in the spotlight. There's a reason why you're out here time and time again complaining about the so-called real talent in this company...you, Southern, Larry, Aho...being held down. There's a reason why you WANT...what I've already HAD a hundred times over.

Sight, I've been to the top of the mountain that you're so desperately trying to climb. I'm here to tell you that there's nothing up there. The air's thinner...it's a lot colder...and when you do make it up there, Sight...there's always two men waiting there to try and push you off. (Smiles.) If I have to tell you who those two men are, Mikey, then you really haven't been paying attention.

You see, Sight, I don't have any objections to you getting a piece of the pie. Only problem is...I'm here to destroy the PIE. You're scrambling for a piece of oceanfront property in Kansas City. It just doesn't exist, Sight. Or at the very least, it won't exist by the time I'm through here.

You say that I haven't done anything since I came back here. (Grins.) You might say I'm pacing myself. Then again, you might say that I don't have it anymore...and you might be right. Maybe I'm not the same man who won World championship after World championship. Maybe I'm not the same man who "retired" Hornet. Maybe I'm not the ICON I used to be. (Smiles.) You want to believe that, Mikey? I'm not gonna ask you to stop.

You see, Sight...I'm not like Eli Flair. I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit because you don't RESPECT me...because you're just another young PUNK who thinks he's being HELD DOWN. I'm not trying to keep you from climbing, Sight...I'm just trying to level the whole damn mountain. I'm not gonna come out here like you, Mike, and complain that I haven't gotten my fair share of the ink around here. I'm not gonna come out here like you, Mike, and complain that I haven't been made the FOCAL POINT of this company.

My history with this company, Mike, is no secret. It's no surprise that the CSWA is putting all of their hype force behind the so-called "GXW Invasion" crap. (Laughs.) Because they know the GXW can't win. They know that the GXW is a cut below, and they may be hungry enough to fight the good fight and make things interesting, but at the end of the day, the big, bad CSWA prevails in the end and everyone goes home with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. (Laughs.) But you don't hear Bill Buckley and Sammy Benson talking about what GUNS threatens to do to the CSWA, do you? Why? Because they're afraid that I *CAN* do everything I say I'm going to do.

Chad Merritt's a worthless son of a <BLEEP>, but he's not stupid. Yeah, he made the call to bring me back here, to help the golden boy Eddy Love and to punish Mike Randalls for the whole Claimstakers fiasco. He sold his soul to the devil, and the devil intends on collecting. He may have held out some hope that I might flake out, that I might get frustrated with the politics, that I might get tired of having some little gnat named Wicked Sight buzzing around and costing me a match against Shane Southern...that I might get a little annoyed at a referee counting to three against Eli Flair even though I kicked out...that I might just take my ball and go home.

But I'm not going anywhere, Sight. Not this time. I swore up and down that I would never come back to this place...this place that took so much from me and gave nothing back. The place that took my damn KNEE from me, for crying out loud. (Smiles.) But here I am, Sight...back again...but this time, I'm back to end it once and for all.

I don't care about your young vs. old crusade, and whether it exists or not. I don't care whether or not you're involved with the GXW Invasion. I don't care who you think should be the focal point of a dying company. I don't care anymore, Sight, that the World Heavyweight Champion takes a back seat to As The Windhams Turn, or Hornet's Power Struggle with Merritt. I don't care about the problems with this place anymore, Sight...because I'm the solution.

You, Evan Aho, Shane Southern, Larry Stanley...the young lions of the CSWA...the next generation...you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's nothing personal, Sight. It really isn't. You ASKED to be first in line to get beat down, I didn't choose you. I didn't DRAFT you, boy, you ENLISTED in this war. You think you can scare me off by dropping names I've never heard of? Apocalypse? Shawn Stevens? Gemini? At least Eli Flair was able to tell me about beating Deacon. Granted, I don't know who the hell Deacon is either, but they tell me he at least was a World Champion.

You say I'm obsessed with Hornet. (Chuckles.) I'm not obsessed, Mike. I was perfectly fine on my San Antonio ranch and Bugbrain never entered my thoughts once. But this is the CSWA, Sight, and like it or not, all roads here lead to one man. The company is built on the back of one man, for better or for worse. That one man isn't GUNS. That one man isn't Mike Randalls. That one man sure as hell isn't Michael Plett or Wicked Sight or whatever you want to call yourself. That man is Hornet...and when I bring the CSWA down, he'll be the one trapped under all the rubble. (Grins.)

But I didn't bring him into our fight, Sight. You did, when you challenged him for the US title. You did, when you exposed your paranoia about me coming down and beating you like a drum again. And yes, Sight, you did when you allowed him to play you like a two-bit flute and distract you by having Marvin Parsons play my music. I told you, Sight, that I would never in a million years lift a finger to help Bugbrain win ANYTHING...that I would never in a million years give Merritt the satisfaction, or let's face it, the RATINGS...that would come with me and Hornet standing in the same ring. But you chose not to listen, Sight, and you paid dearly.

Now I'm telling you again, Sight. You've got a free pass to Fish Fund. I'm not gonna touch you until then, Sight. I'm not gonna lift a finger against you until then. In Kansas City, Sight, you get to watch what I do to your pal Larry. And in Oklahoma City, when he limps into the locker room, he can tell you all about our match from the perspective of the third row. You can have your showcase, Sight. I'm not gonna rain on your parade. (Smiles.) But at Fish Fund, the band stops playing...you won't have anybody by your side...it won't be Wicked Sight against the CSWA.

It's going to be Wicked Sight against GUNS, chump...and mark my words, you're going down. I haven't been holding you down, Sight, but at Fish Fund, I promise you this. When GUNS puts you down, you'll stay down. The CSWA has no future, Sight, and if you don't like it, that's too damn bad.

Because there's NOTHING you can do about it.

WS: The reason Benson and Buckley don't talk about you, GUNS... is they know your threats are idle. Without the "evil power struggle of Hornet and GUNS"... without "the damned CSWA that took your knee"... you'd be nothing, and you aren't here to level the mountain. You're here to run your mouth and flex your *** ****** arms. You're here to say the same thing over and over and BORE these people to death. You're here to complete your fetish for the man that lies inside Hornet, you sick bastard.

I didn't challenge Hornet for the US title, GUNS... the match was given to me because the fans wanted to see two top guys go at it. I didn't try to make it personal with Buggy, he had to accuse me of being GXW... whether or not anyone sticks with me or not, the CSWA is my home. You're fetish for the man makes me sick - and the fact that I'm acknowledging it is worse. Let me give no room for mistakes - at Primetime, Shane Southern and Lawrence Stanley have my full efforts. But at Fish Fund, if and when I get a hold of you, face-to-face GUNS... no matter what you deny, or what you claim... I'm holding you responsible for my loss to Hornet. You responsible for the bull**** rumors about me being a part of the GXW. You responsible for a few fans doubting that I deliver STELLAR performances night in and night out for THEM...

You've told me about history, and how we need to know it? Well take a look around at the PRESENT... you act like you don't know who Apocalypse is? He's one of the men, giving him the respect he deserves, can rip your head off and hand it to your ass! He's big and he's strong, but he's not stuck on an ego trip, GUNS, for himself or for Hornet, and that's where your problems lay. You act like you don't the Deacon, when he's one of the most popular CSWA champs ever? You're either dillusional or lying your ass off, and either way, GUNS... you're convincing yourself that the CSWA is a one man show, and you're here to end the whole damn thing - but yet somehow you'll do it without ever that one man? Your only reasons for being here are to feed your ego and that's going to be half of what stops you from starting ARMaggedon...

Clearing the Air

GUNS: Let's get a few things straight, Mike. First off, I'm not just here to flex my arms. I've got mirrors at home. If I want to look at the Strongest Arms in the World, I don't have to leave the confines of my ranch. Quite frankly, Sight, TV just doesn't do 'em justice.

Second, I didn't come back to entertain the fans. If the people in TV Land are bored by what I have to say, they can change the channel. Think I give a crap about the CSWA's TV ratings? (Laughs.) Think I care if Third Row, Inc. T-shirts fly off the rack? I've got more money than I'll ever be able to spend, Sight...I didn't come back here for money or glory. I came back here to end this place once and for all.

You say I've got a fetish for Hornet. It's not a fetish, Sight...it's simple FACT. I'm not walking around here with a 666 branding iron screaming about Hornet being the Antichrist. All I'm saying is quite simply that the CSWA was built on Hornet's back, it revolves around Hornet, it always has, and it always will unless the whole damn league is brought down. Sight, you're fighting to CHANGE the system. I've already fought that fight. It's like Don Quixote fighting a windmill. You can't CHANGE the CSWA, Sight...but I *can* destroy it.

You want to blame me because you allowed yourself to get played by Bugbrain? Go ahead. He used you, and he used your fear of me to beat you. I told you I wasn't coming out, but you couldn't hold me to my word. That's your mistake, not my problem. You want to blame me for the rumors that you're with the GXW? (Chuckles.) I don't even know what the hell the GXW is. I don't care. I assume they're some mid-level outlaw federation trying to pump up their ticket sales by "invading" the CSWA. Yippee. Doesn't mean anything to me, Sight, and I don't care if you're on their side or not.

You see, Sight, my ignorance of recent history around here is no act. It's no accident. I turned my back on this place and never looked back until my phone rang and Eddy Love was on the other end. I don't know who Apocalypse is. Don't care. I don't know who Deacon is. Don't care. Deacon may very well have been the biggest thing since sliced bread, but he wasn't here when I left, and he wasn't here when I came back. If I missed that little slice of Heaven, I'm truly sorry, but that's the way it goes.

You say I'm stuck on an ego trip...and maybe you're right. Maybe it is the ultimate hubris to believe that one man can tear down 13 years of corruption and greed. But, I'm sure going to have fun trying, Sight. Your problem is you take this place too damn seriously...you care what other people think of you...you care about being on the top of the mountain, if only for a few moments.

I used to be like you, Sight. Except I was BETTER. (Smiles.) And I still couldn't change the system. You think you can? Roll the dice and take your chances. But at Fish Fund, you're not taking on the system. You're taking on Third Row, Inc. You want to fight for the future. I'm fighting to make sure there ISN'T one.

Wicked Sight, at Fish Fund, you can make all the PROMISES you want. But when the smoke clears and the dust settles, you're gonna lose. And you're gonna lose HUGE. You'll never know what it's like, Sight, to look at the CSWA from the top. (Grins.) But I'll make sure that at Fish Fund, you'll see what the CSWA looks like from the perspective of the third row.

Wicked Sight, you may never make it to CSWA World Champion...but you'll always be able to tell your grandchildren that one time at Fish Fund, you got to be a souvenir for some lucky fan, courtesy of Third Row, Inc.
