Angus The Skatmans feelings and opinions and thoughts on dearest Cecilworth:

He is very, very annoyed that this giant idiot has no concept of how the real world operates, particularly with Cecilworth being a coward at the best of times (and that he comes to the ring with his uncle). Cecilworth is saved from being completely ravaged by the virtue of "not being Jack Hunter". This opinion could change in the future depending on how much a briefcase full of cash contains when it is handed to Mr. Skaaland. He does have begrudging respect for the fact that the man can professional grapple real good inside of the ring, he will never acknowledge this due to Cecilworth being far more irritating than he is good at wrestling.

Teeny little LT update.

Lindsay Troy:
Even though she's a face, Angus has grown to respect LT's history, talent, and leadership. She's cool with HISBOITAI, is snarky and funny when insulting others, and he considers her the pre-eminent smark of DEFIANCE. When she goes to the pop-culture well to rip on someone, he's now a little more forthcoming with his laughs and appreciation. He thinks she's hot but won't point it out like he does for Harmony because he's afraid of getting ripped into teeny little pieces, and the fact that she'll run headlong into a fight and worry about the consequences later gets brownie points with him. Plus, there was the WARCHAMBER~!, and anyone willing to meet Bronson Box in there and hurl throwing stars at him in order to win gets kudos for life.

Updatez.

Cayle Murray
Angus is having a terrible time accepting that Cayle defeated Dane, to the point where he almost chooses not to accept it. 9 times out of 10, Angus will attempt to change the subject whenever it’s brought up. Cayle is slowly chipping away at Angus’ assertion that he’s “soft,” and while he’s nowhere near ready to admit it on camera yet, Angus is almost developing a respect for his spirit and abilities. Still calls him “Squidboy” (and variations thereof), still finds his honour repulsive, and still believes he’s an overly-emotional wrestler who needs to learn how to slow things down.

Jason Natas
Complete U-turn. Natas has won Angus over with his transformation, grit, and supreme brawling abilities. Angus will always look forward to Natas’ matches because he knows someone’s gonna get elbowed in the mouth and dropped on their head, and will generally support the dude unless he’s fighting one of his favourites. Though he doesn’t exactly care for the company he keeps, Angus gets a kick out of watching Natas bludgeon things. He still calls him “Fatas,” but it’s almost affectionate at this point.

Perfection:
Angus is not a fool. He knows and has been privy to information that UTA's collapse came in part due to James' horrible professionalism behind the scenes. To Angus, Perfection is everything he hates in the business. Selfishness, politicking, and general ego aren't the only things that make Angus hate James Witherhold. James Witherhold is what makes Angus hates James Witherhold. James general nature, how he carries himself and chooses to preform are what really irk Angus. So much so that Angus actively protested Perfection's contract when he caught wind of it behind the scenes.

Courtney Paz:
He can deal with. Skaaland appreciates her straight forwardness and knows it's not laced in bullshit unlike her client. Angus is a little less aggressive when it comes to Paz.

Scott Douglas:
Angus will more than likely initially write off Scott. He isn't necessarily a flippy but will not hesitate to take the air if need be. Lucha influence and all. Scott's passion and fighting spirit will appeal to Angus but that will take time to show and prove. Angus will mostly be indifferent to Scott and his leaning toward clinical wrestling. Scott's passion and slight anger issues can sometimes drive him to bend or possibly break the rules, but he rather win on his own merit and skill. So, he is pretty right down the middle with Angus' opinions.

Angus on MDK

MDK is right up Angus’ alley as far as being the “bad guy” goes. MDK will do whatever it takes to win and that includes the manipulation of others. Their relationship could definitely face trouble, if Angus continues to place labels on MDK such as, “flippy-do.” As MDK will not hesitate to confront Defiance’s color guy if he feels slighted. This is a new relationship that could blossom as log as Angus learns his place.

Masked Violators (as a team):
Since they only just debuted... Angus is confused about the Violators. Feels DEFIANCE is better than such an outdated and unimaginitive gimmick. What are they even doing here?

MV#1:
Angus is fairly certain that #1 is a tool and isn't able to see past 1's white-bread, corn-ball, straight-laced babyface attitude to see that he is actually a talented wrestler.

MV#2:
While Angus might appreciate 2's flashes of hossness, there is no looking beyond how repugnantly disgusting he is.

More to come!

Edit (now that I'm more familiar)

Corbin Michaels

Angus is a big fan of the HOSS-ness that Corbin brings to the table, but, aside from that excitement/appreciation, Angus will shit on him at every turn. We'll see what happens when Corbin earns his stripes.

Codename: Reaper
Angus enjoys the supernatural aspects of Reaper, but doesn't really considerate him a favorite. He has seen enough of Reaper's entrances to count down his appearances and consistently notates the somewhat obvious things that Reaper has been dropping as hints about his overall creepiness. Current roster example of how much he likes Reaper, at this point in time he's much more well liked than Scott Douglas, but wayyyyy down the ladder from Impulse which makes the current Ascension ARC we are on so confusing for him.

(Side note this is obviously subject to change and sorry it took so long for me to realize I never replied to this thread.)

Will "The Thrill" Haynes - Haynes has pinned Eric Dane, Angus won't like him solely based on this fact - thinking that the THRILL is farrrrrrrr below the BAUSS. Honestly, this fact alone should be enough to poison the well, IMO. Angus would also probably find fault with Thrill's in ring game, as Will hasn't mastered a style and usually works a bit sloppy.

J Stevenson- Angus could give him slight respect on a reputation OUTSIDE of Defiance, and possibly for carving Eugene Dewey's Skull open all the way back when points were still a thing around here, but outside from that Angus will not be a fan of J. Stevenson does from time to time like to return to his high flying roots, which would further piss Angus off. Stevenson WAS in Defiance before, a fact that could be mentioned from time to time.

Skidd Row- Angus won't like Row. Row flips. It's that simple. I would expect a lot of digs at the name from Angus. Row has a history with former Defiant, Chance Von Crank, not that I expect that to be mentioned all the time.

Coleslaw Jenkins- I don't think Angus will be able to take Slaw even remotely serious. Not that most people do. Angus will also find it borderline impossible to understand some of the more eloquent phrases Slaw uses.

Jonathan Wildside -Angus has heard stories about Jon. Shady business dealings when he ran Inferno Wrestling, yadda yadda yadda. It affects the viewpoint negatively. He MAY give Jon slight credit if he were to aid the Bastards correctly, but for the most part would dump all over him.

If Angus is all about that heel life, he won’t be very interested in Bruhh Nasty. BN isn’t the goody goody typical face, but he loves the crowd and interacts with them as much as possible. BN will have no problems telling Angus to eat a shit sandwhich if he gets out of line or if Bruhh feels disrespected in any manner. Over time the two will may develop a professional relationship, but the two will probably never be on the same page.

He's not all about the heel life - he just has consistent opinions. He's a fan of DEFIANCE so he would likely support that part of BN's persona, unless it's way over the top in which case he might see it as opportunistic suck-holing. In the ring he likes HOSSes and hates flippy-dos - based on what you posted in your app he'd probably appreciate his in-ring work while mocking his (what he would call) pandering to the fans.

Oscar Burns: Angus can't stand his over-the-top-won't-shut-the-f-up hyper personality, but he kind of likes the fact that he can bend and twist his opponents into funny balloon animal shapes.

David Hightower: David is a big, bad, thick mofo. He doesn't talk, he just takes a hell of a pounding and hands one out as well. Angus would like Hightower on a very basic level, Considering Hightower is not opinionated and is just about the brawling.

Jamie Sawyers: Angus will HATE the manager/mouthpiece for Hightower most likely. his gimmick is anti bully, which may come off as a bit of a "pansy" in the eyes of someone like Angus. Jamie Sawyers is on the surface PC and very new age, but underneath just wants to use Hightower, to do his own bidding.

Lord Nigel Trickelbush:
Angus has disdain for everything about Lord Nigel. His name, forced accent, his delivery, his ugly-ass hat, etc. Angus probably thinks his literally-2-dimensional promos are cheesy and foolish and overall, like just about everyone else, he doesn't trust the good lord as far as he could throw him.

Jack Harmen:
Every show, Angus will destroy his car in some form or fashion. Whether that's a simple keying, or pouring concrete into it, or having it towed. He hates Harmen, and wants to make him suffer in some way. Jack is UTA and proud, and Angus is DEF and proud, so, they'll never get along.

Gage Blackwood:
Angus thinks Gage has a number of screws loose, so he likes him. Gage is all DEFIANCE and worried the UTA will take them down since he's bounced around through many indy organizations so this appeals to Angus. Angus loves how Gage will put his body on the line for anything. Plus, although Gage is a face he can be aggressive at times and doesn't come across as a do-gooder, just some messed up guy who's out for blood and is always (seemingly) injured. Gage plays the underdog role a lot but he has a temper and will fight like every match is his last, so it's easy for Angus to get behind him. He still thinks he's fucked up, though.

Chris Ross:
Angus thinks that Chris Ross is an out of control street thug with no regard for any rules. Even for a heel Angus has a surprising amount of hate for Ross. He thinks Ross doesn't belong in a wrestling ring but in a prison cell and have the key thrown away. Will he say it to his face though? Of course not! Last thing Angus wants is a screwdriver taken to his scalp!

THE Jay Harvey:
Angus will never call Jay Harvey THE Jay Harvey. He hates him for many reasons. Angus won't say Harvey's nicknames in full. He will always complain about him getting on a microphone.

Catalina:
Angus thinks Catalina is sexy as hell.
