My notes...

- enjoyed the intro to the card. It seems like Biron is starting to get closer to Katz on the calibre of these introductions so well played, sir.

- I really enjoyed the GPX Treasure Hunt segments. They were really damn cool. It left me wanting to know how everything panned out so I'm sure, eventually, we'll know but right now... I wanna know. And it keeps me wanting more from the GPX which has been a REALLY fun ride as a reader, IMO. Good job to the guys who contributed on these. It was VERY cool.

- Kennedy gets another nice match and this was rounded off nicely. Would like to see some action from Sean on the boards here as the Las Vegas Lariat gets this kinda rub. It's kinda pointless pushing him if he's not showing up. But the match was cool

- a nice neat wrap up of 187 and Boogie. The match suited perfectly for Smallz to move forward. I love a roaring elbow finish :)

- Dirty Money had a real solid showing following Windham's save at Berlin. This is an interesting little tag team and I'm looking forward to seeing how that develops. I thought for a moment the Slacknife was a powerbomb and it confused me a little. Thanks to Biron for clearing up for me.

- REALLY enjoyed Valentino Ferrari on the stick. Biron showed me this seg a little while back as their introduction with Tarano on the stick as well but I think it works so much better with Ferrari being the voice. This was a cool segment and the NFW tag division just continues to get stronger and stronger.

- Okay - Jack v. Teddy? HOLY SHIT! This was such a cool match and I love that it got a JiP. That finish was just amazing and it did so much to progress the feud between them. There were some really cool spots in here and I just have to thank Biron for continuing to make Teddy look like the monster I want him to be. I'm really excited about the EMT feud between the Superfly Express and A/A and I really do hope those belts come off. ;)

- Continuing the feudilage, Nove and Atken was really cool as well. There was some really cool wrestling action in here and sorry about your head, Phil. That finish was cool and it kinda evened out the ledger (a little) until A/A got to put the exclamation mark on the night between the two teams. Reason #67 for not pissing off Teddy. Poor Nova. (see also; comments above about how excited I am about this feud)

- The main event was so cool. It was REALLY damn cool. That finish was just epic and I never saw that coming. Not by a long shot. I'm really interested in seeing how this progresses further in the way of Legion's world and this latest state of affairs really makes me want to see what happens between these two characters in the future. This is a handy development and I'm sounding like a broken record... but where does it go from here.

OVERALL COMMENTS AT THE BYOB'er: Really great job, Biron. I think you really nailed it and put nearly everyone on the card over (that needed to be) which is what these BYOB's should be all about. Great stuff, man. Keep it up.

Very solid stuff. The scavenger hunt made me want to hide in the bushes and scare the wife, but that can only end in 911. I love the tag team scene here, very deep. Took me awhile to read but well-worth it. Matches were very solid.

My favorite moment had to when I realized what LCP was going to do with the eggs. Horror!

I had a hard time deciding in what way a guy like LCP would want his eggs cooked.

Ramey, mind shooting me an IM next time you're around?

Black Angels = awesome for the intro.

Lost City of Laos. I don't even have the words. NFW needs more of this, non-match member events.

The matches were short and that's okay. I love Dirty Money, Lane Cash deserves more TV time and everything Peter Windham does is wrestling gold.

Venice Coast to Coast should be interesting, there's not enough wrestlers with a gimmick out there, and I'm actually being serious.

Harmen vs. Teddy itself isn't nearly as ominous as the fact that they're wrestling in a bamboo cage. Someone else MUSTdie already?

Nova vs. Atken would only have been better if it was Harmen vs. Atken and Nova vs. Teddy since the EFG World could a'splode. But I think it's wholly appropriate that TedAtkin dominate SupaFly individually while splitting the matches, so as to make it more exciting to see them face off for the tag belts.

Legion is awesome, as always.

And it seems like the Grand Prix is shaping up to feature Player One vs. the Final Boss. C'mon, the rest of you participants, don't let LDO steal your thunder! (even though it's already his to steal).

Good job, sir.

I'm going to one up Voss and just start demanding that Biron take on all WELCOME to the SHOW segments moving forward. I know I threw in a couple ideas, but I think this quickly brought us right into what was going to be a completely nutty show in a good way. A good mix of light, dark, fisherman yelling...people bleeding like stuck pigs, you could feel all that coming. The Black Angels continue to battle The Stone Foxes as the new NFW house band.

LOST CITY OF LAOS - Really woven well into the show and I liked how the characters had fun with the idea. I think BYOB's might bring out more locker room collaborations than we'd normally see on the RP"d shows. That's starting to show more locker room segs in-character, but obviously for fun. And yes, Jesse Ramey... that was planned from the start. BELIEVE IN THINGS. And Rook's a dick and reminds me how I sucked at all those games on Nintendo, and why I probably play alot of sports games instead.

VALENTINO FERRARI -- Love him. Everything about that promo was filling a hole in the NFW character department I didn't even realize we were sorely missing.

DIRTY MONEY taking on BANZAIs and weaving right towards the GRAVEROBBERS, I love how these guys are coming together and having to fight off physical freaks to boot. It's everything about 80's tag team wrestling I loved.

TEDDY vs. JACK - FUCKIN' HELL. Teddy's becoming THE resident monster. I'm planning something in the future that's going to put this to the test, but throwing Harmen off the cage was a great metaphor for what's going on in this feud right now...and how Teddy likes to inflict damage more than win.

NOVA vs. ATKEN -- And then Teddy goes for the ultimate kill-shot and allows me to type the words that Phil Atken is the only guy I know to hold victories over both Dan Ryan and Nova. As you can tell, a BRAWLHALLA main event had to get booked with these two teams. Definitely a TOP 3 FEUD in the fed for me, SUPERFLYs have to be playing the Rocky IV soundtrack over and over... otherwise Calvin's going to get scared.

AKITA vs. LEGION -- I had really questioned the choice of this closing the show originally. I figured that would've gone to one of the EMT-related singles matches, but with how this closed out... WHEW. Legion's entering a zone right now, where you can't trust anything he's doing because you can't exactly understand it anymore. Losing everything to the Fallen, The Guild kinda using him... it's really built him into someone that's out to infect people with his internal pain as much as he violently hurts them. WILL AKITA go to the BLACK MARKET? STAY TUNED BATMAN!

Really enjoyed the show, I think BERLIN and LAOS really roll well into BRAWLHALLA and AMSTERDAM. The Grand Prix is ready for their RP thread of doom and you can smell every title storyline like it's FRESH NAPALM in the morning. (HAW!)
