Colts vs Pats

What did you guys think of the game?

Personally, this is what I've been telling people ...

all the media was on the nuts of the Colts saying how good they were and how New England couldn't stop their high powered offense...

and yet the Pats kill them.

Come on now ... they're the defending World Champions ... when are we going to get some respect?

I think the Pats had/have respect.

Everybody outside of Boston wants to see Peyton win. It's like pulling for the Kings against the Lakers, or rooting for the Suns this year. The Colts just play a more exciting brand of football. Easier to 'latch' onto.

It's a great match-up. The Colts team just isn't built for cold weather/playoff football. I think they either had to go no-huddle and force their brand of play, or turn into a smash mouth offense, and let James pile on the yardage. The Pats Defense shut James. He like a 2.7 yards per carry average. That's crazy.

I thought the play of the game was the 4th and 1 around the fifty. Colts ball. 3rd quarter. 6-3 game. The right move was to punt. A coach almost can't go for that one, but they should have. They never once took the game to the Patriots. You go for that...the drive's alive, and you never know. Maybe you throw a pick on the next play. But...the Colts never threw caution to the wind.

Never. FWCentral has a New England bias. First the Sox, now the Pats...the Celtics don't count because they suck and there won't be a hockey season until 2007.

Boston sports are more about the ritual human sacrifice following the big game, as opposed to the victory itself...
