Well guys, it's come to my attention lately that one of the belts has been singled out by many faces as, well... dead weight for GXW. Yep, I'm talking about the X-Treme Title. And why should we consider it anything else? I've read your responses to my poll... and I was shocked to see that so many people would say that the X-Treme belt is "redundant", and nobody has an answer to what may have been the X-Treme Match of the Year...

Well, the division has been lacking, yes... I've noticed this. This is why now that I have some control of the X-Treme Title, with Clapper owning it, I intend to up the ante... to make a bit more noticed. Cause if it's going, I'm going to give it a last hoo-rah.

Many of you saw the X-Treme division at work in Global Warfare... Clapper not only won the belt, but sabotaged a ladder match, ran over two guys with a car, and decimated his opponents to do so. I'm surprised that didn't get a response out of you all... people here in GXW seem so overtaken with the Miller/Hiroshi/Smallz triangle that hardly anything else seems to matter...

But like I said, I intend to make a change.

I know there have been some challenges made in the Challenge Thread, but... to those guys, Matt and Patrick especially, give me a week.

I am working up an angle right now that will put the X-Treme Title on the map... and I need one show to do it. Trust me, you will all be involved in what I have in store, and hopefully, many others will as well...

So how about instead of skipping over the X-Treme division for the next card, guys, you give all the angles a little consideration, and see what's happening in the grand scale. Yes, Jennifer Rowe and Lori Wilson have broken up... yes, there is this stable called the Uprising now, and Cobb and Ryan have returned looking for blood...

And guess what? We have this belt that you all think is redundant, yet there's still three or four guys laying down challenges to take it off Clapper's hands...

Nobody seems to be complaining about the Television Title... Stephen Waltz has yet to have a feud in GXW, or a repetitive opponent, for that matter, with the exception of Adam Benjamin. You guys didn't happen to notice Terry and Stephen sleeping on the Challenge Thread?

All I'm saying is, guys... wait for Revolution. Keep your eye on the X-Treme Scene...

Ryan, I'm considering calling the Clapper out on the grounds of the bad timing he did at Warfare, plus I think the "X-Division" title would look better around Zell's waist...slimmer with the Hiroshi Muffin diet..;)

X-Treme Title question?

Since it seems some changes will be made in a future event to make the Xtreme title more recognizable... Will the winner of David Allen Black or Reuben Fasco match still get a shot at the title even though changes are being made?

I also have some suggestions...

Being a former fed owner I am very creative, especially in the hardcore division. How about calling it instead of the Xtreme Title, call it the X-Title. You could change the status of the title by making it more meaningful in making it a lightheavyweight title or cruiserweight. The Hardcore Title doesnt mean much anymore because it's sort of like a title that's just thrown in there. The Continental Title has more meaning because it's the 2nd highest next to the World Title. If you made it have more meaning it's possible more people might want to contend for it.

For example the person who usually wins the continental title and successfully defends it after a few matches is suppsoed to contend for the World Title being that it's 2nd highest.. What if GXW gave an oppurtunity to those after winning the X Title gets a shot at the Continental title. Unless ofcourse you guys already do that. It's like giving people the chance to step up the ladder.

Just throwing in ideas...

The winner of the Black/Fasco match will meet Clapper at Battleground Britain, as originally planned... but he may not be the only one. Several people are going to be involved.

Let me clarify something.

There has been no official decision to get rid of any GXW title. The results of that question on the poll that was posted are just that....the results of a poll.

If you guys want to come up with angles to make the decision more interesting, by all means....as in any division....have at it.

But just remember, no one on staff has said anything about dropping a title officially.
