Every cycle I will give my feedback on the RPs that were posted. These will usually be 1-2 sentences on anything that particularly struck me .. whether it was something I liked, something that I felt just didn't click. It is meant to give you a little insight into my judging.

You can feel free to post your own feedback in this thread as well, but please be constructive.

Please note that I do not read any RPs until after the deadline is over and I read them all at the same time so I have a general idea of what might be given a 70, or a 65, or a 62 .. so on and so forth. I will not post the scores themselves, but each week I will announce what was the Roleplay of the Week.

CYBERSTRIKE 12

1. Yossi Hayat: First of all, yes, that's exactly what capitalism means, LOL. You spent a lot of time going on about the state of Israel and I was having a hard time seeing how it connected -- until you finally made that connection clear. When you did that, I thought that the RP was pretty damn good.

2. Adrian Willard: RP#1 - I thought it was good. I liked the build up of the Shadow Cult and offering Eddie to join... but I hate "insider terms" like 'botched'.

3. Adrian Willard: RP#2 - Some of the metaphors you used didn't exactly make much sense .. you mixed different ones together I think. Overall this was a solid RP.

4. The First: RP#1 - Really enjoy seeing the same setting used for multiple RPs of the Shadow Cult .. it brings a realness to the group. Nice of you to cut Fanatic down to size by showing him what "his" New ERA is full of.

5. The First: RP#2 - Strong, strong, strong RP. You continued to lay into Fanatic/Tact and it worked out very much in your favor. Good job.

6. Fanatic: RP#1 - Tact shot right back by telling First he failed to "change" the problems he was railing on Fanatic about when he was champ. The RP was great.

7. Fanatic: RP#2 - As I said before, this match was so incredibly close .. and it really came down to angles and this RP being docked a few points for being late. I liked the RP .. even if I didn't complete "feel" it 100%.

8. Eddie Patton: RP#1 - I really do enjoy the Patton character. I liked that he rejected the offer because he didn't want to "compromise" himself. Seemed authentic... and I like authenticity.

9. Eddie Patton: RP#2 - First sentence in and you pretty much nail Willard to the wall. I keep reading Patton as if he were the Southern intern who sometimes guest stars on Bones.. the one who dates Cam's daughter? YouTube him.. that's the voice I read Patton in LOL. Anywho, loved the RP. Sealed the deal with it.

10. Husani Dakarai: Unfortunately your opponent no-showed .. but even if he did, I doubt he would have been able to pull out anything as good as this RP. It had me entranced .. and you also touched upon other goings on in the league. I liked that you tied everything in.

11. Mr. Entertainment: RP#1 - I really like Entertainment's continuing breakdown .. and him blaming Hayat for losing to Fanatic (and thus not winning title) was hilarious.

12. Mr. Entertainment: RP#2 - E's descent continues! It was an interesting RP and helps set up the character for the future, if not really much for this match.

13. Jonathan Marx: Jeff missing that he was in the match means he no-showed.. oops. Marx/Jacobs always have good interactions and I look forward to seeing the 'Gentleman' go for his three-peat! :D.

RP of the Week: "My Detractors Are My Entertainment" by Husani Dakarai

CYBERSTRIKE 13

1. The First / Adrian Willard: The Shadow Cult's first match after bringing back the New ERA Championship .. and it was kind of underwhelming. I LOL'ed at the treadmill and Willard threatening to break First's skull ... but then it just sorta went back to stuff I've heard before.

2. Husani Dakarai: Once again, Dakarai talks about fed goings on, which I like. He also treats Suicide as a real challenge.. putting your opponent over in an RP is often times overlooked by people, but its a real skill to have in the wheelhouse. I was looking forward to this match when I set it up and I'm glad it didn't disappoint!

3. Yossi Hayat: Tell 'em, Smark Boy! They're all afraid. Good of Hayat to come out and defend himself and his place in New ERA. Could have spent more time on your opponent, though.

4. Spectre: LOVED the RP by Spectre. Can't wait to see more.. especially against an opponent who, you know, shows up. :p

5. Fanatic: RP#1 - Great way to tackle the stinging defeats the TACT Legacy suffered at the 75th show .. and you came out looking much stronger for putting it out the way right in the beginning.

6. Fanatic: RP#2 - Another strong, strong RP! Even though Marx dropped the ball RP-wise, you nailed the RP.

7. Suicide: Suicide isn't gonna run and hide from the Madman from the Motherland and he lets him know it. Great RP battle between the both of you. I really enjoyed Suicide's precision/focus on the match. It came through in the RP and made it an extremely tough judging!

8. Eddie Patton: Better on time than late! Patton continues to impress with RPs. I like his earnestness.

RP of the Week: "You are piñatas filled with bullshit" by Fanatic // "Obituary" by Spectre

(Slowly getting everything up to date.)
