So the first round is done for two brackets. It's Question time!

What match was the match of the first round in the first two brackets?

Who was the MVP for this round?

Who had the best RP in this go round?

What match was the match of the first round in the first two brackets? The Canadian Loonie vs Triple X. I really liked the contrasting styles of this match. After a long break from e-fedding I felt like Loonie really found his voice as the RP session progressed. XXX was great as usual. My runner ups were AOD vs Ravager (good job by both) and Dan Ryan vs Rob Franklin (See below).

Who was the MVP for this round? I really liked Chris Casino's work and felt bad that he didn't have anything to work with. If he had a chance to build against a foe I probably would have given him the MVP. I also disqualify Hoyt Williams for the same reason. So my MVP goes to Rob Franklin who stood his ground against a man who is probably one of the favorites to win this whole thing.

Who had the best RP in this go round? I was tempted to go with Hoyt Williams but I'm actually going with The Icebreaker Rob Franklin's first RP in his match with Dan Ryan. I've faced Dan a number of times and he's tough to RP against. Rob took it to him right out the gate and came out looking strong.

I have to also say Rob Franklin was my MVP. His first rp shocked me as I know he’s the underdog going into that match. But he did it right and had a solid style. I think I get the winner of that match so I really shouldn’t be cheering either guy on but who ever wins I really look forward to facing.

It would be a huge conflict of interest for me to answer this thread, but I will say this. Everyone who RPed this round did a fantastic job, and it's a shame some of you have to go home... or will you?

I didn't read all of the RP yet, so I'm not gonna pretend that I'm able to do a thorough answering of this...

But I did want to publically mention what a great job Rob Franklin did in our thread. I told him so privately after his first RP and I wanted to say it here. Great great job.

Meanwhile, you can find an application for EPW at www.fwrestling.com/host/EmpirePro

What match was the match of the first round in the first two brackets? I'd have to say that it was a tie between The Canadian Loonie vs Triple X and AOD vs Ravager. All four guys busted their butts and it showed!

Who was the MVP for this round? This might sound biased but I gotta go with Ravager on this one. He's just coming off of a huge PPV win and now he's in there slugging it out with AOD.

Who had the best RP in this go round? I won't single out anyone because I think everyone who RP'd deserves credit. So I'll take the easy way out and say I was impressed with everyones RP's! :p
