Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER is currently recruiting with the hope of expanding our ranks and hopefully opening up our Commonwealth Championship division!
There are four main elements to FRONTIER:
• Wrestling
• Fun
• Competition
• Wrestling
Yes, I really put wrestling in there twice. After all, wrestling matters, amiright? Some eFeds allow you to write role-plays that consist of soap opera-esque stories that concentrate on you, your family, friends, dog, maid, neighbours… whatever. But here in FRONTIER we’re all about the wrestling.
Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER, more commonly referred to as just FRONTIER and very rarely as PWF, is based in Southampton, England. We tour small venues all over the UK putting on two shows a month. Currently we have just the one singles title, the GFC Heavyweight Championship, but should we grow in the way that I’m hoping then the Commonwealth Championship will also come into play. This title is fought under old school “World of Sport” rules, a classic British wrestling style that consists of six rounds of five minutes duration.
FRONTIER is a small independent promotion, akin to the early days of ROH or PWG. There’s a growing trend of “Indy eFeds” out there at the moment and we’d like to think we’re one of the best; we were runner up Roleplay Fed of the Year in EWZine’s 2011 Awards despite only launching in July.
We’re a company with no TV deal so the show results are written in a way that reflects that, a round-up style report of the show. We’ve recently added “videos” into our reports which gives you the opportunity for segments and interviews.
There’s no pressure to appear at all of our shows, if you only want monthly appearances that’s fine by us. This laid back fed is a great place to compete if you have a hectic schedule or want to try out something new. It’s also great for those who are new to the game or have been away for a while.
FRONTIER also likes to arrange special guest appearances with stars from “big” promotions. So far we’ve had appearances from MWA and HOW stars and we’re always looking to bring in other people for special “dream matches”. So even if you’re already settled in a fed we’d love to discuss the possibility of bringing you in for such an appearance.
If you would like to get involved just head over to www.frontier-wrestling.co.uk and fill in an application, join the forums and become a part of the family. Also check us out on Twitter (@pwFRONTIER) and Facebook (search for Frontier).
