To whom it may concern,

We here at GWE have heard rumors that certain GWE titles might become unified with others from different federations. If these rumors are true then let me be the first to say that it will NOT happen.

GWE titles shall NOT be unified with any other title in any way, shape, or form. Since I am Co-Owner of GWE then I do have 50% of say in this and I say that my titles will not be unified with any others that are out there.

Also ... GWE has not closed for good. We are just on a long hiatus until otherwise noted. Obviously personal things are going on in our lives and, once we get the chance, we will come back from our hiatus and reinvent GWE

So ... to sum it up:

1) GWE is not closed, but rather on a long hiatus.

2) GWE titles will not be unified with any others.

That, dear friends, is final.

Allow me to further clarify some things.

Rumors are simply that - rumors.

An angle was proposed whereby Boogie Smallz would defend the GWE World Title in EPW. He asked my permission and I told him he would have to seek out Erik and Chad for that. Simply stated, it's not my place to say yes or no.

What is fact is that when it became clear that some people were unable to attend to the fed, I made several attempts to attend to it myself. When that also failed, I suggested closing the fed in a group email to both co-owners.

It was replied back to me by both that yes, closing down was a good idea. The fed seemed to have run it's course.

I was also told by one of the owners that they would make the announcement. Again, nothing happened. So I took it upon myself to do so.

I've done this in several different incarnations over several different issues with this fed because of how much I love the fed and because of my long history with it.

And, I've done so with the full approval of the "co-owners".

To that end, it's a bit insulting to me to A) suggest something other than what was mutually agreed upon in private and B) to jump the gun on shooting down rumors that may or not be true and that you may not have the full story on.

Furthermore, if public posts like this are the only way I can get information on the intentions of a co-owner, then to me GWE is as dead as it possibly can be. I'm tired of chasing people down for answers and then having my efforts dismissed.

Before this gets ugly, I'm going to step in.

Quite simply, communication broke down completely and attempts to reconcile that just didn't come to fruition.

Dave and Erik, you each made attempts to talk to the other and for whatever reasons your paths never crossed. It happens and now it's in the past where it will remain hopefully.

In Dave's defense, he did make several attempts to get things going and after that ddn't work, the three of us did agree that right now we should shut down the fed. I probably would have done the same thing in Dave's case, for what that's worth.

Right now, I'm focused on me. I've been thru major surgery and I'm trying to turn my life around so if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to focus on that and not worry about who owns 50% of what, etc.

It doesn't matter if we're closed for good or we're on hiatus. Lines of communication got crossed and now it's been straightened out. Let's all just leave it at that.
