GXW Football League

Well, its me again , the guy who only has five "ballots" in for the GXW magazine ;-). Anywho, to put it plainly, I've set up a football league on Yahoo for the GXW guys. Its something we used to do all the time over in SCW so I figured I'd carry the tradition on over. If you're interested in signing up for the league just reply here with your name and e-mail address and I'll send you the invite.

This is for the first seven guys that sign up as I've got four already interested. Chad, EZ, Kyle and Ed you guys don't have to worry about signing up, I'll get ya the info shortly. As for the rest, like I said, the first seven guys....

I'm not sure, I believe you can be in more than one, although it seems as if Yahoo has made some changes to their setup so there's only one way to find out. I'm fairly certain you can be in more than one though.

I think Madden 2004 comes out in mid-August...I know I am dying for it to come out. I'm such a football junkie that I will probably go out and get the new NCAA Football when it comes out. (Next week, I think.)

Does PS2 have a dial-up internet thing to play other people? I didn't think it did. Because if so, we could hook up a tournament or something. That would kick ass.

I better shut up, next thing you know I'll be talking about a FW convention or something. Oh yeah, I already did that before.

Sorry for jacking this thread, but it was an easy target.

now as for NCAA football... u need to pick that up... It's been better then Madden the last two years, plus u know about the whole bringing the draft class up and drafting them on Madden, I'm sure...

Mike Vick is off tha heezey and he won me some big bucks for me in that OT win against the Vikings when he did the cartoon dash through 2 guys who ended up craching into each other and evading the entire defense. The man is bad. But to me STEVE MCNAIR IS THE ISH! That';s my boy. I didn't like him at first, but he grew on me.

I'll probably get NCAA. I "User Pick" all day long...you ain't nothin'! And I don't know what kind of cheat codes you're talking about because that's got to be the ONLY THING I haven't done on Madden. I really don't brag about it too much, but I am that damn good! Keep going to training camp Kyle, you're gonna need it against me.

EZ... come on u should know that I'm a Bears fan through and through... but VICK is still my boy... now as far as Kordell, he is just a minor upgrade of MIller... I'll root for them, but I don't expect anything out of DA BEARS this year... only thing to look for is, URLACHER... The best linebacker in the league...

now on to Joe, if the bears name gets any bigger with all that bank one ##### or whatever... I don't think it will fit...

But as far as NCAA, I broke a record in user picks... I think I had something in the range of hell I can't count that high... the game stopped in midplay once and was like, 'u can't play anymore, b/c ur too good'... I looked at it and laughed, but the computer was serious and my ps2 shut off for like a day and wouldn't allow me to man handle the computer anymore...


Now Madden... I've been playing Madden since before I was born... I don't even want to get into that, so with that being said... I'm done with the trash talking.. I'll just pretend that JOe is the computer when I get Madden... b/c I don't think there would be much of a difference:7
