[The scene opens up with Doom covered by shadow. Light streaks from his shoulder to his leg. The head is all black.]
Paul Doom:
So, it comes down to this.
[Images of last week's cage match between Holocaust and Doom flash over the screen]
Paul Doom:
A tag match to settle it all. To declare the true victor in this feud.
[Light shines through the windows. Doom's face is now visible]
Paul Doom:
For several months now, Holocaust, you and me have been at odds. You injured me not once, but twice. You stole my dignity. You not only stole it from me, but you tore it to shreds as you drove me through the cage all those months ago when you had this supposed powers. These powers, which you felt, would never leave you. And now here you stand, a forgotten soul. One that no longer has the ability to achieve the greatness it once had. You once mentioned that you would never, ever fall from the mountain, the ladder of success. Despite my warnings, you were. And by the same person that gave you the warnings. Me. Holocaust, what happened last week in the cage was what happens when you step in the ring with an, as you so elequently put it, "old, washed up wrestler". I took your bad ass persona and shoved it down your throat as I not only made you tap out, but had you beaten fair and square in the middle of the ring. You were almost no challenge to me. You see, when you step into a cage with me, you are stepping into my house. Do not think, that for one second, I will lose, if I do, to anyone there without a challenge and without dishing out my share of pain. And that night, that one night, was 15 minutes of the worst pain you would have ever felt.
[Doom stands up]
Paul Doom:
To hear your hand beat against the mat repeatedly was music to my ears as I reared back with the sharpshooter, you had no choice but to tap out. And then, with the ref distracted, not to get the win then and there, only served to make me more angry. To hit you, dead centre with the Doomstone, knowing I had the match won, made me happy. It calmed the savage beast. Only to have that taken away from me aswell. Regardless, everybody knew I had that match won and had it not been for another wrestler, I would have proved it. But I had my word, which I give very rarely, broken by the one named Evol.
[Doom clenches his fists]
Paul Doom:
In that match, Evol, you served as nothing more then a nuisance. You and your constant interfering cost me the match. Something which I had so long urged for. Something I had prepared months for was taken away by you in a matter of minutes. No matter what I did, you came in, like a fly, and proceeded to annoy me to fulfil your desires. Hell, even driving you through the cage only cost me the match resulting in a draw. Do you know how angry that makes me feel? Do you have any idea at all what it is I am feeling? Do you have ANY IDEA what I want to do to you right now?
[Doom becomes infuriated. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He opens them again, calm]
Paul Doom:
Costing me my match, was one thing, Evol. But by saying that it would have been anyone is a pathetic attempt at trying to justify your actions. You call this match a "dream match" so to speak and luckily, you are part of it. But no matter what you have said, no matter how hard you try to justify what you did, I will seek bloody retribution for your actions, Evol. And for that, you can mark my words....I will seek retribution
[Doom stares into the camera with the look of fire in his eyes as the scene fades to black]
