FADE IN: ROOK BLACK walking with the NATIONAL GUARD entourage in a parking lot approaching their caravan vehicles.
ROOK: "We're heading back out west. We're going to want to swing through Denton on the route to pick up some documents, and then we're hitting up a bail bondsmen in Sweetwater. And then we make our appearance and take the fallout in stride. Get some nutrition on beforehand, just in case things go poorly. Number 21 is going to ride with me and take my dictation for an Amicus Brief, though to be fair, that's unlikely to get any traction, but well- considering how the time otherwise can't be spent, I figure to give it a shot."
The GUARD enter their respective vehicles and pull out.
(CUT TO: Interior SUV #2, with ROOK, #22 and #21 in the back. #21 with a laptop open. #16 is in the passenger seat, mounting the camera to the Car's roof, and with #09 in the driver's seat.)
ROOK: "See about pulling of the relevant data. The Judge's name would do nicely for a start."
(ROOK shuts his eyes.)
