So, with things being so slow around FW Central lately, I've decided to run a small show (4-6 matches hopefully) to supplement the existing cards here in WFW... and that show is BYW. The RP period will begin immediately following the Great Expectations roleplay session and will be open to anybody looking for something to do, inside and outside of the WFW alike. The card will feature appearances by several classic characters from feds such as the FWF (with Jake Shades on color commentary), the IWF, and the WWL, among others, as well as current WFW stars. In the spirit of the IWF in particular, I'm going to run a 'Chris Horowitz Memorial Softcore Championship' match where competitors will vie for the trophy under 'Softcore Rules'. Anyhow, I hope to have a line-up posted within the next week, so if you're interested, I'm going to throw up a sign-in/challenge thread where you can submit your character for a match of mine and/or Paul's devising or challenge somebody to one of your own. So yeah, sign-up, lay down a challenge, hit me up on AIM or shoot me a PM over the forums if you're interested or if you have any ideas or thoughts. Also, if you have any questions, feel free to post them here. In the meantime, things are shaping up nicely and we have some interesting matches lined up already. Hopefully, we'll see you there.

Softcore Match Notes

This match was meant mainly as an homage to what was once FW's longest running fed, the IWF, but there are potentially spots open to others. So far, Larry Tact and former IWF Grand Slam Champion, Superstar Ruger, are in... as well as two other characters that will probably be in the match. With 2, maybe 4 spots locked, I'm good to go through with the match, but if you're interested... I may be willing to open as many as 4 more spots. Remember, this match will be softcore-style zany, so if you're character isn't willing to participate in a pillow fight to the death, tag team with a fighting monkey or prepared to get smacked repeatedly in the head with a bottle of corn syrup... this match is NOT for you!!

As it stands now, the Softcore match will include Michaels-Cruise, Larry Tact, Superstar Ruger, Diablo, and a Mystery Participant.

OK, a certain somebody wasn't able to put the forums up after I asked fim a few weeks ago (ANGRY FIST!), but as soon as I can coaxe Chad into getting them up for me, RP will being. ;-)
