Part One: The Start of the End

She placed the small bluish pill on the tip of her tongue and cleansed her mouth with chilling water that slid past her teeth sending a small minor shiver coursing through her body. With a final gulp, she swallowed the tablet down her throat, making sure to swallow every last drop of water that past her soft gentle lips. She placed the glass down onto the table and held it tightly, as small drops of condensation dripped from the glass and covered her hand. She dabbed at her forehead, brushing away the sweet smelling sweat that began to fall from the peak of her forehead.

“One…”

She held her trembling hands tightly on her pale skin that seemed to grow colder and white as time past. Her silhouette blended in with the gray nature of the room and her ever-growing gray figure. As quickly as she swallowed one pill, she picked another from the bottle and held it tightly in her hand. Her face whipped of all expression as she looked at the small tablet in her hand. She closed her eyes and took a gasp of air.

“Two…”

She moved her hand close to her lips and placed the pill in again. She kept her eyes closed so tightly a tear dripped from her eye and ran down her cheek. She sipped the crystal water again, and held it in her mouth. A few more tears ran down her face as she tried to swallow. But it wouldn’t fall down her throat, as a hand grasped her throat and squeezes tightly. Her eyes opened wide and looked at the man standing before her, eyes shredding her body, sending her soul to the depths ends of hell.

“You can spit up, or die drowning, it’s your choice,” the man said with a husky overhanging voice.

She looked deep into his burning eyes and held on tight, not letting the water, pill or breath pass. She was willing to die right then and there in his hands, and it would be blamed on someone else. Her skin went as white as snow, and shifted colors as the air began to deplete inside her. Her eyes shut and her body started to fall to the grasp of his hands.

“Simply pathetic Alisha, simply pathetic,” he continued to say, gliding his hand down her cheek while keeping a tight grip on her throat.

She finally gave in, spitting up the water which splashed across her face, and the pill fell onto the table. He let go of his grip and walked behind her. She gasped for breath, sucking as much air into her body as possible, as she whipped away the water from her face. The man handed her a towel which she excepted not so gracefully. She looked at him with scorned eyes, as her flesh started to return to color.

“You bastard,” she yelled out, eyes burning with hatred.

“Don’t be kind with me you wench. Why not say what you truly mean,” he replied, turning his back on her.

She sprang from her seat and wrapped the towel around his neck and dropped him quickly to his knees. She pulled the cloth high and held on tightly, sucking the air right out from his lungs. He clawed at the towel to no prevail and slowly his face turned blue and white. She looked down on him, with a sly smile creeping across her face. As he let out is final gasp of air, she released her grip and he fell to the floor.

“Why speak when my actions are much more appropriate,” she said, watching his body recover and hearing his lungs fill back with air.

“I thought you would have killed me,” he asked, still holding his throat and lurking from breath.

“Don’t flatter yourself Lucas. If I was going to kill someone, I’d kill a real man,” she replied with as much sarcastic flavor as she possibly could add, picking up the pill that she spit from her mouth and putting it back in and swallowing straight away,

“Maybe you shouldn’t be so flattered that I saved your life,”replied Lucas, standing back up and running his hands down his clothes to make himself clean.

“I’m soooo delighted,” she replied, rolling her perfect blue eyes as she dropped another pill from her bottle.

Lucas shuffled across the floor and snatched the bottle from her hands. She didn’t try to restrain his moments, but simply aloud him to view the label, and speak his peace. He read the label and gazed back at her, eyes peering from the corner of his eyes. He slammed the bottle back on the table and looked at her. Just looked at her, with no expression.

“Save me the speeches. You were here, in my shoes before. So don’t act like your perfect,” she added, pouring another glass of water.

Her hands were weak, and as she poured, water splashed the wooden table, and ran across, dripping on the floor. Her eyes looked heavy, and her body seemed to drift as she picked the glass up and brought it to her lips. She placed the pill in the side of her mouth, closed her eyes and sipped back. Lucas could see everything go down her throat, and immediately, she dropped to the floor. But he did not move. Her hand reached for the table and she pulled herself back up.

“Going to stop now,” Lucas asked.

She looked into his eyes and raised up from the ground. Her hair was wet with sweat, and her clothes stuck to her body as she moved. She pulled her mid-night hair down over her face and stood upright. Lucas grabbed the pill bottle and pulled out another one, and placed it in front of her.

“I was here before. Drink this now,” he said, giving her the glass and the pill inside the water.

She slowly drank everything back, and watched the water drip down the glass, and fall onto her chest. She arched her back as the pain reached her insides. She staggered around, trying to collect her self as the room spun in circles. Lucas whisked her up in his arms and looked at her face. Gentle tears ran down her cheeks and mixed with the sweat the poured from his face.

“Come Angel, let’s get you the help you need.”

Part Two: Fast Asleep

Lucas held her firm in his arms, with his muscles ripping, and his eyes coursing through Alisha’s body. He placed the angel flat on the sofa, which she sunk into and was instantly wrapped with a feeling of warmth and security, as a blanket was laid over top her body. He collapsed into the armchair, making that ever sweet new leather sound and held his hands together in front of his face. He watches as she slowly regained her surroundings and came back into what was reality.

“Where am I,” she whispered, scratching at her eyes, trying to make out the image of Lucas sitting with a grim look on his face.

“You’re at home still,” he replied, with a tone that wasn’t pleasing to a awakening beauty.

“How long was I out for”

Lucas smirked and looked at the clock, “oh I would say about ten minutes. Relax angel, you didn’t do to much damage to yourself…this time.”

She slammed her head hard onto a soft silk pillow, and wrapped herself in the warmth of the blanket. She even released a small smile, and a hum of pleasure, as she felt secure. Lucas, still not sporting a look of happiness for her safety, stood up and left the room.

“You can leave now, I don’t need you here. Just let me relax,” she said, with a upspring whisper, still clinging to the silk blanket.

Lucas came back, and slammed a bottle of pills on the table, along with a crystal glass of water. With wide eyes she looked at the bottle, then back at Lucas who left again. But she didn’t move her head, and instead fell back into her state of bliss.

“You can’t be serious. I just collapsed, and you want me to do more.”

Lucas came up from behind and placed a wet cloth on her head. She smiled and inside was moaning in pure ecstasy. It’s the feeling she wanted all the time. Not a feeling with a man by her side, but rather one where she was alone, secure and in perfect harmony with life and all that it may offer. She opened her eyes and looked at the bottle, extending her little pale fingers to reach out for them. As she read the label, Lucas came back and takes them from her grasp.

“Those are for me, you have had enough for one day,” he muttered, falling on the armchair and popping two pills into his mouth, and gulping down the spring water.

“So what, you’re not going to share with me. Typical male, always taking everything for him self, and never giving. Isn’t it always the way. The men keep everything, while the women get taken advantage of."

“Just shut your mouth Alisha. If it wasn’t for me, you would be in the kitchen, sick as the dog you are, or possibly dead. But alas you make me out to be the bad guy,”
he shouted out, slamming the glass into pieces on her coffee table.

She hardly moved, as her eyes opened to view the damage, but simply went back to being in bliss, as he stood up, and walked to the sofa. With a shocking force, he picked her up from the sofa, and held her stiffly by the arms. Violently shaking her around, until she returned back to reality again.

“You little bitch. Maybe I should have just let you die.”

She looked at her with frightening eyes, “and rob me of this pure and truly beautiful pleasure. No, Lucas, neither you or god could take away my pleasure.”

“Pleasure,” Lucas muttered with a question in his voice, “please enlighten me in this pleasure of yours.”

She was released from his grasp, and fell softly back onto the pillows. Her silk black hair, softened around her head, as he pale skin sunk into the fabric. Her eyes shut tight, and her hands curled up under her head, as she fell fast asleep. Lucas watched, and stood up from the sofa. He watched the angel sleep, and for a moment, his heart sank, as he gazed upon such a magnificent beauty.

“This can’t be happening,” Lucas whispered, “Why do I feel this way.”

He walked over the armchair and sat back down, looking at the beauty on the sofa.

“Why do I feel this way for her?”

He too drifted asleep, as their afternoon slowly came to a close. The birds chirped, and the sky brightened, as the beauty and her man lay fast asleep. Alisha curled into a ball, and felt the true warmth of life. A smile graced her soft lips as she opened her eyes and looked at Lucas.

“I don’t know, but don’t expect anything special.”

Part Three: Fine, Thanks!

Her eyes slowly opened and a smile graced her face as the remaining sunlight hit her pale skin and seeped into her opening eyes. She stretched her arms high above her head, and brought them down, running her fingers through her silk black hair. A good days sleep was all she needed and it’s what she got. Lucas was still passed out on the armchair, with a small puddle of drool forming on his shirt. She removed the silk blanket and stood up.

“Wow,” she said, trying to gain her balance.

She moved back into the kitchen, grabbed a glass from the cabinet and let the cool water run through the drain. She put the glass under the tap, and watched it fill up. She walked back into the living room, and placed the glass on the table, and continued to wrap her self back into her pleasure zone of silk blankets and soft pillows. She stretched her fingers and plucked the glass from the table and took a sip.

“I got about two hours to kill before sleeping giant wakes up.”

She flipped through a magazine fairly fast, not wasting time on ads or articles that didn’t appeal. Eventually she flipped through in mere minutes and threw it down onto the table. She took another sip from her glass, and placed her head back onto the pillow. She thought of Lucas’s words, and more important, the feelings for her. Were they romantic, or just friends? Hard to tell, when one tries to kill the other in the same night.

“You better not love me Lucas, because there is no way I am ever going to be with you.”

His arms were massive, his body could have been carved from stone, but his heart must have been forgotten somewhere into the making. He had the looks for any woman, and the heart to win any women, but to Alisha, it was more about his heart not being black enough to love her. She wasn’t lovey-dovey, but rather wanted a lover worth dying for.

“You’re just not man enough Lucas. I mean, come on now, look at you. You’re crazy. Crazy enough to believe I want you here. Crazy enough to think you can win me over with some false rescue attempt. Let’s be serious Lucas, you couldn’t handle a woman like me.”

His head moved back and forth, as if he were dreaming. He began to toss his body, and speak soft words. She smiled as he spoke, not knowing what he was even dreaming about.

“It can’t be true,” he said.

“What can’t be true,” Alisha asked, trying to guide his dreams.

“Her death. It can’t be true.”

Alisha looked puzzled as she took another sip of water. “Who’s dead?”

“Alisha,” he responded. “Alisha is going to dead.”

His eyes burst open and he let out a small yell of terror. Alisha jumped back in her seat and looked at Lucas who started to sweat buckets. His eyes were sharp and his body tense. He looked at Alisha and smiled. It was a dream he had, and a bad one at that. He took her water and drank the rest down quickly, wiping his mouth off slowly. He looked back up at her.

“Are you alright,” he asked, worried she was in danger.

Alisha smiled and nodded, “Fine, thanks!”

Part Four: What you can do for me

“Are you sure,” he asked, eyes widened and face trembling with fear. “Are you sure you’re alright and not in any pain?”

“As I said before, I’m fin….” Her words stopped and she thought for a moment. With her body curled up in ball, and her fingers gliding along her soft legs, she cracked a small smile, and looked up at Lucas, putting her fingers to her forehead.

“Now that you mention it, I’m feeling a little dizzy. You mind being a dear and getting me another glass of water?”

Without a second of time wasted, he jolted from the chair, and dashed for the kitchen. Alisha pulled the silk sheets around her body, and wrapper herself back into the warmth of body. Lucas returned fast with a fresh glass and placed it on the table. He eagerly sat in his chair, waiting for her to gulp down her water and ask for me.

“Lucas, just take it easy, it’s not like I’m going to die,” she said, catching him off guard. She shook her head and took a sip of her water. She closed her eyes and rested back onto the pillow. Lucas still waited on, waiting to comfort her every needs and desires. But by doing so, he only made her more eager to get rid of him.

“Is there anything else my Angel I can do for you,” he asked, getting on his knees and looking her straight in the eyes.

“Well there is something you could do for me,” she replied, smiling with delight at him.

“Anything, you name it and it’s yours”

Alisha looked on, closed her eyes and set back into her comfortable zone.

“Leave!”

This caught him by surprise. He stood up and looked about the room and back down on the angel resting comfortably on the sofa. His face was traced with fury, as he tried to not obey her order. He went and sat back down on his chair.

“That’s what you can do for me. You can leave and just let me relax.”

He looked at her and stood up, “You do know that once I leave, I’m not coming back.”

She sat up fairly quickly, with a large smile on her face and joy flowing through her veins. She looked Lucas straight, and with her beautiful sparkling voice she cried out.

“That’s the best thing I’ve heard all day!”

Lucas’s heart sank, as she cursed him out of the house. He stood up and looked at her, as she lay back down, still beaming with a gorgeous smile. Luca’s walked towards the door and gracefully left without as much as a word or breath.

“Pitiful little Lucas. I’ll call when I need something.”

She closed her eyes and fell fast asleep.
