Every cycle I will give my feedback on the RPs that were posted. These will usually be 1-2 sentences on anything that particularly struck me .. whether it was something I liked, something that I felt just didn't click. It is meant to give you a little insight into my judging.
You can feel free to post your own feedback in this thread as well, but please be constructive.
Please note that I do not read any RPs until after the deadline is over and I read them all at the same time so I have a general idea of what might be given a 70, or a 65, or a 62 .. so on and so forth. I will not post the scores themselves, but each week I will announce what was the Roleplay of the Week.
1. Richard Dweck: I liked that Dweck said Hayat could criticize him all he wanted, but it would mean nothing because he was at the top of his game.
2. Yossi Hayat: I like in-ring promos. I liked that you challenged whoever won at PT for the championship match at the first Cyberstrike of Season 3. Good RP.
3. Fanatic: RP#1 - Comparing Entertainment to that crazy Rapture preacher worked well. You guys put on such a damn good show. I liked how Fanatic focused on the spirit of competition.
4. Fanatic: RP#2 - I enjoyed the "Entertainment's New ERA is full of misinformation and manipulation." The entire RP flowed well and while the battle was close, this put Fanatic over the top.
5. The First: There was an intensity that I read into the RP that really drove home the point. First wanted to break New ERA .. and Marx was the representation of everything he hated. Great RP.
6. Cameron Cruise: RP#1 - It was fun to read Cruise coming to terms with the fact that his career was on the line and to work through his loss w/ Entertainment.
7. Cameron Cruise: RP#2 - Drove the point home. That's all there really is to say.
8. Mr. Entertainment: RP#1 - I liked how Entertainment chastised Fanatic for being counseled by Tact. Mr. Entertainment won't be going down quietly, that's for sure. You two pulled out all the stops and it showed in the quality of the RP.
9. Mr. Entertainment: RP#2 - The part where Entertainment talked about how he sat on his throne and watched as people tried to tear down his New ERA was great. I also enjoyed the part where Entertainment said that lying at his feet would be the Tact Legacy.
10. Mr. Entertainment: RP#2 - I'm a fan of the sit-down interview in these types of matches. Content was entertaining and stinging.
11. Suicide: RP#1 - Tact and Hart scared of Suicide encroaching on their territory? Loved it. The final line about the resonance of a thousand screams of agony left such a vivid impression.
12. Suicide: RP#2 - Suicide hit the nail on the head with his comment about how champions claim they have built the promotion. And I also enjoyed the part where Suicide said he's here for HIMSELF. This was a fun match to write .. and the fact that all three of you put in the effort made it such an honor to write.
13. Pro Wrestling's SJH: Even though Hart only got 1 RP up, the scores were closer than you might think. I liked how Hart when through the history he's had with his opponents.
14. Larry Tact: RP#1 - Tact saying that New ERA means something entirely different to him than anyone else couldn't have been better said. No matter what happens, no one can ever take away the fact that he was the very first champion. I liked the part where he said that no matter how much New ERA changes, Larry Tact would be setting the gold standard.
15. Larry Tact: RP#2 - You were able to pinpoint what makes each of the three competitors so strong and make a strong case for why Tact would walk out with the victory.
16. Jonathan Marx: This is the strongest RP Marx had all season. I really enjoyed seeing the Marx that walked over the competition when he was World Heavyweight champion and really hope that it sticks around!
17. Michael Montgomery: LOL @ the Cameron Cruise must have a thing for embarrassment line. Shame you had to take a leave of absence, and if/when you return, you left off on a strong point.
