QUESTION FOR ALL?

Hey all, my name is Dave. I don't know if you all remember or ever knew about GeekSoft or FedWars, they were 2 different websites that allowed a person to create and operate their own fantasy wrestling website, all complete with forums and roleplay boards and automatically simulated matches and more. Neither are in existence today.

What I am wandering is there any intrest from anyone for another site that takes the best of what both of these offered and more and to have an all new site. I am willing to create the entire thing, I just want to know if there is any interest?

How much time do you envisage spending developing and supporting it?

Thanks for the tip on where to go.

I will be spending about 6 hours a day, 5 days a week on developing it until the site is up live. Once the site is live and working as expected, I will then spend about 3 to 4 hours a day on maintenance and support for the first year and then about 1 to 2 hours a day from then on out.

I will also allow others to come in on the poject as a programmer as well if they want.

Oh, before anyone says that LAL built FedWars, YES I KNOW he did. I NEVER EVER implied that I ever worked on FedWars or Geeksoft, all I ever said is that I was with each one a ceratin amount of time, and I was I had fantasy wrestlers in both.

I make the above statements here because I posted my original question over there at EFedZone.Com as well, but over there they for whatever reason think I was saying I built or worked on FedWars which I never ever did or did I indicated that I did. They just misunderstood my post. I don't want the same mistake here. I never worked on or for FedWars or Geeksoft, I had fantasy wrestlers at both sites at different times. My site will be brand new new and is not a copy of either. I hope this clears some things up.

That was pretty impressive as far as unprovoked e-gangbangs go. I thought they would have been a bit more receptive to some sort of dialogue than that. I've had some very polite dealings with one of their web guys over some scripting issues when they were first setting up.

Hey guys, hopping in over here. I'm an admin over there, and what I think happened here was a giant miscommunication and misunderstanding. DC, I'm glad you shot over that e-mail. Your wording in your post was weird, and seemed like the classic troll post.

Not interested in having any sort of negative vibes heading in our direction, and especially on FWrestling which I really respect.

It came off mostly weird to us, because we are currently balls deep in recreating that vision ourselves! We're halfway done with it and plan on releasing it by the end of next month.

You're welcome to come by and post on our boards as you wish. My only suggestion would be to have carefully usage of your words, and maybe check out a few posts before posting your own (There was a major announcement that is a global post in every forum about our transition to the efed management system).
