Round 2 Hype Thread

For all the winners of no-shows and jobber matches and the round 1 winners announced so far, let's get it up for the second round. While Umpiro lost, I've got GOP geared up for a big run. I already started writing the narrative/story RPs, and I can't wait for you guys to read it. Also can't wait to really start my trash-talk RPs. I'm really, really, REALLY geeked out for what I've got in store. In it to win it, yo.

My first one wasn't exactly my favorite of all time but I stand behind it. My next one will have a lot more work done into it, hopefully a bit edgier to give a better view of Sylo, and hopefully I can turn some heads with it...man I haven't done competitive RP'ing since PCW...I'm a fish out of water lol.

I was pretty happy with my first Round 2 outing for my match with Andrews and look forward to his response. Going first is always hard but it has it's advantages, too, right?

Got my deadlines for each RP programmed into my schedule. Focusing on a Political Theory paper about Marx (Communist Manifesto) and Mill (The Subjection of Women) that is due Thursday and then my freedom to write for fun frees up tremendously! Looking forward to working with Derrick Allen's handler!

Excited to go up against Orphan, it's going to be a real challenge...I think I have a pretty sweet idea for my first RP, too. Be on the lookout for it when the Bracket 2 second round opens up.

No worries! It's 7:57pm Tuesday evening in my neck of the woods. I'm going to wait until Wednesday my time, even if it's silly and unnecessary.

Side hype... if anyone's interested, check out the "Reunion" story I'm slowly posting on the Hype board. It's an expanded story, and though it's in the past tense, it will all tie in with the story presently being told as part of the ultratitle series.

I read your work yesterday, and it might be the jet lag. But I don't think there are any rules about post stacking in the first couple of rounds. I'd also argue that in your case, it doesn't even matter in the slightest. I'd also suggest reading East of Eden or something if you're going to do family melo-drama. I didn't hate your first round work. But that one was a floater.
