Most of you know me, or know of me.

I guess.

I've probably had an e-slap fight at one point or another with all of you at some point in the past sixteen years.

You also may know that I've handled mainly in the WfWA circle for the past ten years, and the NeWA circle (which beget the WfWA) for two years before that. So, I've not exactly been exposed to a lot of different places as a player. Not seriously at least.

Anyhow, I run a fed in the WfWA (Defiance) and I pretty much run the WfWA. As such, I figure it'd be not only a conflict of interest, but just plain silly to try to handle there any more. And strangely, I'm getting the itch to roleplay again.

First thing's first, I'm not looking for a fed that I have to "save" in any form of the word. I don't want to join the staff, I don't want to have to help teach people how to play, I don't want to vote on matches, or even write them if I can get away with it. I also don't want to do a whole hell of a lot of booking. I just want to go back to the simplicity of being a player who gets booked, writes, and waits impatiently for results to see if he won or lost.

In short, I just want to enjoy handling my character.

I'm not looking to be a top guy. I don't want a run at a top title, and I don't want to have to be in a top feud that carries a fed. I just want to be a strong utility player in an enjoyable environment, preferably working with other like-minded individuals.

I don't care how "big" a fed is in character, makes absolutely no difference to me. I also don't care one way or another about posers, backstage scripts, or websites in general. All of that is fluff to me, if you've got 'em, great, if not, great, none of it makes or breaks how I feel about the game. Hell, some of the best feds I've seen were email feds or board only feds.

I prefer to play a gimmicky character, the two that I've got ready and willing to go are a bat**** crazy, moonshine making, no bath taking, no teeth having hillbilly from West Virginia named Frank Dylan James, or a smooth talking, pelvis-thrusting, hotel key giving, bananna-hammock wearing sleezebag named Rich Mahogany.

I'm also open to new characters if you have some specific niche you need filled.

Anyhow, I know that's a lot of "demands," but if you run a fed that sounds like I might fit into, or you handle in a fed that sounds like I might fit into, get up with me. I like to talk shop, I enjoy this game for what it used to be, and I'm online a lot.

Hit me on AIM @ J Taylor 027, respond in this thread, or hit me in a PM on these forums if interested at all.

Thanks in advance.

I don't mean to jump in here..

But you handled FDJ in Just the last tour .. and the RPs were well received... but as soon as you and your partner were "eliminated" from the tournament you sorta bounced out of the league.. I just don't want that to happen to any of the leagues here in this community, you know?

You are correct, I did bounce from JUST rather early last tour.

However, it wasn't after I was eliminated, it was before.

I did two bad ass pieces with Cam for the first round, won, and then fell into a vacuum of suck for about a month and a half that almost closed DEF and had me pulling my hair out. I've still got the half a roleplay that I started for my first non-tournament match on the second show of the tour, but I never finished it because of said suck, and then I couldn't even get to the computer for more than half an hour for my actual second tournament match. I got with Hyde about it as soon as I could, and we're square, he's also invited me to come back to JUST.

Not to justify the no-shows and the leaving, it sucked and I wasn't happy about it, but I didn't leave because I quit. As for Cam, not sure what his deal was, but I think he's an FW handler himself.

Anyhow, no need to apologize for "jumping in" or anything, it's a legitimate concern. I hope I've abated it some.
