Alrighty, show feedback for the Darlington Brawl.
Big wins for Legion. Legion has always traveled an interesting road in NFW, building the character not so much on wins/losses but more angle fed-style storyline shenanigans that don’t revolve around who gets the three-count. Still, it keeps the character relevant when he can bag a dubya over other established stars, and two in one night in the context of a high-profile tournament qualifies as a great night for ANYBODY on the roster. Well done, sir!
I think the Eric Dane Rocky IV parody seg was the high point of the whole night. I rolled my eyes at the outset because the idea is about as played-out as it gets, but dammit it, I actually chuckled out loud several times. By the end I was totally sold. Plus, I love characters that almost schizophrenically exhibit different personalities (Nova is quite guilty of this), and it was good to see Dane embrace his goofier side.
I had a lot of fun RPing in the Darlington thread, and Pants definitely gave me a run in the context of our booked match on the show. Props all around!
