WRESTLERS' INFORMATION:

Tag Team Name: The Hardliners

Wrestler Names: Alan Helms, Tony "The Blodge" Blodgett

Heights: Helms - 6'3", Blodge 6'5"

Weights: Helms - 235, Blodge 263

Hailing From: Rochester, NY

Handedness': Both righties

Dispositions: Babyfaces

Gimmick(s): I'd like to make this as real as possible, having two talented young wrestlers who have futures as singles competitors but have such great chemistry in the ring with one another that management is putting them together as a team to get them over before eventually moving them to singles.

Both men are skilled in-ring competitors who simply love to wrestle and are trying to breakout into the superstardom they desire. Alan Helms has already tasted some success--last seen in LoC and was once heralded as "nbW's Poster Boy"--but Tony Blodgett is a fresh face to the big leagues. The two grew up together as best friends and trained under the infamous Razor F'n Blade together, but Helms was given an opportunity that Blodgett wasn't given, and while Helms was making a name for himself, Blodge was desperate for booking of any kind.

After starting as the company jobber in nbW, Helms worked his way up towards the main event and then turned his back on the company that made him, jumping ship to LoC. After a brief heel-turn attempt in LoC with the notorious stable "THE Faction", Helms realized that his heat as a heel wasn't working and he parted ways with the company after feeling he was improperly used.

Helms was deciding what to do with his future and decided to give his longtime friend Tony Blodgett a call to see if he wanted to head overseas with him. Blodgett jumped on the opportunity and the two found mild success as a masked tag-team under the name "American Undergrads".

As a team they pride themselves on fluent teamwork and use lots of double-team and setup moves for one another. Since they grew up wrestling with each other from the time they were young kids, to training together, to now working as a team together, they know each others moves in and out almost as if they wrestle sharing a common brain. You would never see them losing due to mis-communication in the ring (**could be used in RARE occasion to put others over only**).

Ring Attire:

Alan Helms (except he is now shirtless and has added a couple tattoos)

Tony Blodgett - wears short white and yellow trunks with "The Blodge" written on them in electric blue. White boots and knee pads. Taped wrists.

Looks: (A general idea of what they look like. Hairstyles, etc.)
Helms - same looks as pictured above.

Tony Blodgett - Dark black hair, buzzed short. Both arms are full sleeve tattoos. "Self Made" tattooed along front collar/chest area. Chuck Palumbo type build.

Ring Entrance: The lights go out in the arena and two spotlights begin to race around in circles until finally one stops on one side of the arena and the other stops on the other side of the arena. Their music begins to play as both men make their way down the aisle with the spotlights beaming down on them. They get through the crowd and the two spotlights shining down merge together as one and they meet each other in the center of the ring.

Theme Music: "Defy You" by Offspring

Tactics/Style:
Alan Helms' moveset would be along the lines of Chris Jericho with fast paced/technical moves along with the ability to pull out an aerial move when necessary.

Blodge is more of a brawler and will provide more of the muscle for the team.

5 Specialty Moves:
Alan Helms:
1) "Almost Famous" - Repeated facewashes building to an eventual bulldog.
2) "Rocville Rocker" - Double Underhook Backbreaker
3) "To Helms and Back" - Modified Texas Cloverleaf
4) "AL or Nothing" - Springboard Suicide Dive
5) "The Spotlight Is Dead" - Step Up Enziguiri

Tony Blodgett :
1) "Blodge This" - Top rope shoulderblock
2) "Animal Pump" - Triple Powerbomb (uses all his energy, sells like it drained him physically
3) "Garbage Plate" - Diving tackle/mount/repeated blows to the face.
4) "Cold Feet" - Delayed Vertical Suplex
5) "Upstate Uppercut" - Hellish uppercut to the chin.

Tag Team Moves:
1) "Thunder & Lightning" - Standing clothesline by Blodge, Corkscrew dive by Helms.
2) "Rochester Revival" - Big boot by Blodge turns the man into a superkick by Helms.
3) "Glory Daze" - Blodge hoists opponent onto his shoulders and Helms delivers Enziguiri /Helms hoists opponent on shoulders and drops face into Blodges big boot.
4) "
5)

Finisher & Set-Up Moves:
+ "Fight in the Flesh" - Release superplex caught into neckbreaker.

Strengths: (3 strength marks see them as possessing)
1) Great teamwork--have a great in-ring chemistry and really play well off each other's strengths. Compliment each other very well and they use many tags throughout the match.
2) Very strong friendship with one another. It seems that nothing and especially no one could come between them to split them up.
3) Focused and determined to achieve success.

Weaknessess: (See Above)
1) Although they have a good look, they aren't overly impressive on the microphone. Helms is pretty good, but the main reason Blodge hasn't found main-stream success is due to his mic skills.
2) Haven't really found a strong gimmick to present to the crowd yet. This will be the first time they have teamed together on American soil and so they are used to being foreigners and being able to use the fact that they were young Americans who were good wrestlers as their gimmick. Now they will have to find their true characters.
3) Although they do good work as a team, they ultimately have different goals. Alan Helms has already tasted some success and he'd much rather be a singles competitor. For Helms, this is more of a step towards getting back on track whereas Blodge sees this as his big opportunity to start something.

In 100 words or less, please give a biographical profile of your characters:
