[Fade into Tom Holzerman, standing in front of the big screen, showing Beast grappling with "Triple X" Sean Stevens.]

TH: Semifinals. A1E. Empire Pro. MWCW. The A-List. Which two teams will make it to Edmonton to SuperShow VII to battle for the Chad Dupree Cup? EPICENTER is next.

[Cue up "Down" by Stone Temple Pilots.
Cut to JASON PAYNE, shouting out in primal fury with a man's blood as his war paint.
Cut to ROCKO DAYMON whipping ULYSIS SOLIAN off the ropes.
Cut to RAVAGER rolling out of the way of a ROB FRANKLIN top rope headbutt.
Cut to MUNSON MONSOON tossing HIGH FLYER out of the FREE FOR ALL~! ring.

Cut to DAN RYAN hoisting the Merrit Trophy, then flash cut to NOVA with the Harvard Avalon Memorial Trophy held by his side, then flash cut to Team NEW hoisting the Dupree Cup.

Cut to: The Epicenter logo once more, fading into Tom Holzerman and Steve Murray at the EPICENTER desk.]

TH: Hello, I'm Tee-Aitch, and here's Ess-Em. Welcome to EPICENTER.

SM: Initials aside here, we have some great Dupree Cup action to review with you this evening, and we'll start with the marquee matchup of the evening.

[Cut to a close-up of Holzerman with an EPW/A1E inset behind him.]

TH: Last year, both these teams came up one meet short of making the finals. On top of the stakes involved here, both feds have a little in the way of bad blood between each other, and you know any extra animosity can only be a good thing. Like gravy on your mom's homemade Thanksgiving mashed potaters.

[Cut to the ring, Karl Brown winding up against Big Dog.]

TH V/O: The Dragon, Karl Brown taking on Big Dog in the first match, and the Dragon breathes fire right across Dog's chest in the form of knife-edge chops.

[Cut to Big Dog returning the favor.]

TH V/O: And it turns into a game of "Anything you can do, I can do better." Dog returning volley on Brown, and with those soup bones, mang, that stuff hurts.

[Cut to Brown in the corner.]

TH V/O: And I wonder... is it still called a Hornet Splash if it's done by a 300-plus pound canine themed wrestler? Who cares, I'm calling it that anyway. Dog with a Hornet Splash to flatten the Dragon here.

[Cut to Brown running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Brown with the comeback though, leg lariat sents the former A1E Champ to the canvas.

[Cut to Brown running the ropes again.]

TH V/O: The Dragon again keeping that run and gun offense in play against the larger and slower Dog, nailing him with a flying forearm.

[Cut to Brown going for the Dragon's Bite.]

TH V/O: Brown tries to finish Dog off, but he can't lift the former Champ up. Dog breaks out and just levels Brown with a clothesline.

[Cut to Dog whipping Brown off the ropes.]

TH V/O: Dog looking to put his own finishing stamp on this match, softening up Brown for a potential Dog Pound, with the CRUNCHY spinebuster.

[Cut to Brown on the top rope.]

TH V/O: However, after capitalizing on a Big Dog mistake, the Dragon goes to the top... and what can Brown do for you? How about a Dragonrana? This move puts the Dog to sleep and puts EPW up one match to none.

[Cut to Beast and Stevens inside the cage.]

TH V/O: Next match, Beast taking on Triple X, Sean Stevens. The EPW Champ gets the upper hand early, peppering Beast's gut with those kicks and then flowing into a DDT.

[Cut to Stevens raking Beast's face across the cage.]

TH V/O: Trip making use of the cage to his full advantage, scraping Beast's face against the steel.

[Cut to Stevens with Beast in an inverted headlock.]

TH V/O: All Stevens early on in the match, as he continues to blast Beast with an inverted DDT.

[Cut to Beast lining up Stevens.]

TH V/O: You can't keep a good Alpha Male down, and Beast just cracks Trip X with a kick to the jaw. Ouch.

[Cut to Beast grabbing Stevens by his tights and back of his neck.]

TH V/O: Now, it's Beast's turn to make use of the cage. He grabs Stevens and just tosses him right into the cage. Ouch times two.

[Cut to Beast with Stevens in a front facelock.]

TH V/O: Beast just housing it right now, delayed impact vertical suplex on the Champ, all the blood rushing to the head and then WHAP!

[Cut to Stevens running the ropes.]

TH V/O: Stevens finds an outlet and gets back into the match, and here he is, giving Beast a taste of his ulna. Flying forearm and a beaut.

[Cut to Beast whipping Stevens off the ropes.]

TH V/O: Beast gets right back in things, again using the cage to his advantage. Flapjack into the cage.

[Cut to Stevens on the side of the cage.]

TH V/O: Trip gets the upper hand back, and looking to escape the cage. Beast is recovering, and Stevens turns around to see that. Without a moment's hesitation, Trip leaps off the cage and hits Beast with a moonsault.

[Cut to Stevens setting up Beast for a superkick.]

TH V/O: Trip now looking to finish the match. X-Factor attempt blocked by Beast. He shoves Stevens back and then drops back, off the ropes and just GORES Stevens into the cage. If you see the replay on that, Stevens hits his head on the cage and is out. Beast takes the opportunity to escape the cage and tie the meet.

[Cut to Ivan Dalekchev military pressing Lindsay Troy.]

TH V/O: CHRONIC COLLIZION~! against Dan Ryan and Lindsay Troy for all the marbles, and CC~! gets the upper hand early. The Big Russian with an in-ring equivalent to a VJORKing on Lindsay Troy. Gorilla press, and that my friends, hurts.

[Cut to Dan Ryan whipping Dalekchev off the ropes.]

TH V/O: Ego Buster comes in and he's got the perfect antitode to the Big Russian Venereal Disease. Whipped powerslam, and folks, you NEED that kind of power to pull that move off.

[Cut to Erik Black on the top rope.]

TH V/O: Erik Black has his own recipe to take out the bigger, badder Ryan. Top rope body press.

[Cut to Lindsay Troy whipping Black off the ropes.]

TH V/O: You can't keep royalty down all the time. Lindsay Troy back in and she puts Black DOWN with that sleeper drop out of the Irish whip.

[Cut to Lindsay Troy on top of Dalekchev's shoulders, electric chair position.]

TH V/O: But this wouldn't have a happy ending for Empire Pro. Dan Ryan incapacitated on the outside of the ring, and Lindsay Troy in a bad way. Erik Black hooks her up as she's on the Big Russian's shoulders and it's time for a CHRONIC CRASHER~! The Queen is out, and A1E advances to the finals. Steve?

[Cut to Sarge with Chandler Tsonda in a Dragon sleeper.]

SM V/O: MWCW and the A-List. Two laughers in this one and one good match. First, one of the laughers. Sarge puts MWCW up early with the Corrective Training on Chandler Tsonda.

[Cut to Danny Ferguson and Drunken Tiger in the ring.]

SM V/O: Danny Ferguson and Drunken Tiger, Last Man Standing match, and this one was the good one. Here they are, trading blows. Ill-advised move for Ferg, since he's giving up half-a-deuce at least to the massive Korean. Tiger gets the upperhand early.

[Cut to Ferguson running the ropes.]

SM V/O: Ferguson gets back in the match though, using leverage to his advantage. HE bounces off the ropes once, and then twice, confusing Tiger so he doesn't turn around, which is a mistake on his part. Chop block from Ferguson brings Tiger to the canvas.

[Cut to Tiger grabbing Ferguson by the head.]

SM V/O: Here's a good way to knock both yourself and the opponent out. Coconut headbutts! Drunken Tiger showing his skull is harder than Ferguson's here, and Ferg is down but not out.

[Cut to Ferguson running the ropes again.]

SM V/O: Ferguson still has some tricks up his sleeve, running forearm to the head of Tiger. That'll help put down even the biggest foes.

[Cut to Tiger lining up Ferguson.]

SM V/O: Tiger trying for another knockout blow here, and he just drills Ferg with that martial arts kick.

[Cut to Ferguson floating like a butterfly and dancing like a bee.]

SM V/O: Ferguson comes right back though, showing off some of his moves he learned in his casting call for Rocky Balboa. A left jab, left jab, right jab, left jab, right cross, and Tiger falls like a ton of bricks.

[Cut to Tiger setting up Ferguson for Reunification on a chair.]

SM V/O: We come to the finish, and Drunken Tiger looking to take out Ferguson with Reunification on a steel chair. Remember, Last Man Standing, everything's legal. Then, last minute, Ferguson pulls out and Tiger lands on the chair. Ouchies. But that's not all. Ferguson grabs the chair and heads up to the top rope. Take a picture of this, because you will RARELY ever see Ferg go to the top again, but when you have the opportunity, you take it. He stalks for Tiger and nails him with the flying chair shot. That's enough to put down the Tiger and tie the meet up for the A-List.

[Cut to Ferguson setting up Adam Cash for the Box Office Bomb.]

SM V/O: To the next laugher, and it's Ferguson again, making his case for Most Valuable Wrestler, nailing Adam Cash with the Box Office Bomb and sending the A-List to the finals.

[Cut back to the studio.]

TH: So there you have it, A-List and A1E in the finals.

SM: Should be a barnburner, especially if more than just Ferguson shows up for the A-List.

TH: Indeed it will. Anyway, that's it for us. Make sure you join us for TEAM SuperShow VII and the Dupree Cup Finals. Until then, I'm Tom Holzerman. For Steve Murray, goodnight everyone.
