The old board... and my characters bio.

I sort of NEED to access my old bio posts on the old boards... my most up to date copies of Hurley and Box's bios are on there.

Check the old site's roster page. Box's profile should still work through there. No idea how you're going to get your other character's though.

I've spoken to Ryan, he's going to give us access to all of the content on the old forums as soon as he gets himself settled in after moving.

There's an overly complicated way to see old board posts if Ryan hasn't changed anything.

The results links look like this:

See how there's a number in the link next to "id="

Change that number in your address bar and hit enter. By doing this, you will be able to see 99% of the board's posts in a webpage format.

Do I have any idea as to what post is corresponded to? Not really. But I know we have less than 1900 threads, so it's a number between 1 and 1900

I clicked on matthews link and then just went to roster and found Mike Sloans Bio. It worked for me

Yeah, anyone currently on the roster can get their bio from the roster page. http://defiance.quirkycircle.com/roster.php Neither Matthews nor Box were currently rostered IIRC.

Dave B. and Greer were working on doing some upgrades on Ryan's version of the site before the forums went kaput, and this was a page that they hadn't gotten finished and hadn't made public - but it's still functional for all Def 1.0 bios and some Def 2.0 bios too.
