The OWC World Cup (Invitational)

This will be a tournament that promotes WRESTLING and when i say WRESTLING I mean WRESTLING so this will be a TECHNICAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT..yeah you can have hell in the cell, you can have hardcore but I think that so many of us have forgotten what wrestling is about..

Moving on...we have a vast history of GREAT Technical Wrestlers in the OWC. We have a history of people from Canada and England and other places who once competed here. We believe that we can shine as a federation IF we embrace what wrestling is about and while we have the people here now we should try to make this a reality. This isn't about winning a world title this is just about being the BEST and if you are the best then I think you would want a piece of this.

So if you want to represent America, Scotland, Ireland, Germany or wherever you are from please by all means step up and let us know if you have interest in doing this..we want to make this a reality. It will be open to anyone from any federation who wants to give it a try we are open to competition from across the globe.

As a note we are not binding anyone to a long term contract with us for this event. This means if you want to represent your home country or heritage then you can by all means leave after you compete in the tourney or if you are eliminated from the rounds you can of course leave if you feel like it. We have no problem with that. We just want to promote good competition. We are asking for a bio of information about your wrestler so we know the moves and finisher you would use but of course you are welcome to remove that bio and delete it after the tournament is over.

Should you have interest in this we have a thread at our board discussing this and we would enjoy having you enter. We just want to see how much interest this generates and how many entries we will have and should be get enough we will set an official date for entry.

After being contacted by the FLM..

http://www.fwrestling.com/host/flmwrestling

Owner Brent Bentley has decided to send a representative from the FLM to the OWC to compete in our international tournament. THE FLM represents a federation of Luche Libre knowledge, skill and respect. The FLM will be a growing federation over time as they offer a different spin on efedding with their style. Please applaud Brent Bentley for his efforts!

We have serious interest in our federation from our own members and we have REAL canadian, british and of course American entrants who wish to be involved, David Gage will be entering and putting his skills in the ring against wrestlers from all over the world.

We grow and the movement continues, the door is open for you to be a part of it because this is not about fed vs fed it is about having a good time for everyone involved.

Who is next to join us in the tournament? We shall see.

(By the way I want to take this time to say THANK YOU to FW Central for allowing us a place to advertise and promote our federation. You have our gratitude for this and continued success to all federations here!)
