This is for another character I handle in SHOOT Project, Courtney Hatchett. I wanted to show this one off because it shows how vastly different some of the characters are that I handle and the type of mental preparation that goes into my work.

Arthur is an ever-evolving character that I started a little over a year ago. That said, here are some of the more specific characters traits, nuances, and idiosyncrasies that I've developed in Arthur Pleasant thus far:
He was born in Utqiavik, Alaska. This is where the Midnight Sun phenomenon happens. Based on this, he has an innate hatred for daylight. In some ways, this hatred has metastasized into a fear of the sun itself. In which case, night advocates an inner peace... even if it is seldom found.
At it's (im)purest form, Arthur is just a really dark, disturbing character. An irredeemable soul who loathes the wrestling industry due to his childhood being adversely affected from it. Thus, he takes out his hatred on all those around him in the most violent, sadistic ways imaginable. When he speaks he does so in a contemptuous, cynical tone. He can tell you to go fuck yourself without actually saying it.
He has a boundless amount of charisma, which helps his immense cult-leader type of personality. He has many psychological issues and often sees a court mandated psychiatrist for it. Arthur will deliver promos at times during one of his sessions where the Doctor remains digitally pixelated so as to protect his practice from Arthur essentially breaking the ethical code of patient/client privileges.
Wrestling Style: (Tell us a little bit about what your wrestler does in the ring and the general psychology behind it.)
Arthur Pleasant is well-versed in Hardcore Wrestling. When he's not trying to bash your skull in with a chair or put you to sleep with a chloroform ragm he'll be biting, poking, and low-blowing his way through the match. His focus is generally the head and neck area since he likes to utilize piledrivers, DDTs, and their various forms in softening up for his big finish, Calamity Pain.
Three Weaknesses:
- Not proficient in technical or submission based wrestling.
- No regard for his well-being this applies in and out of the ring. This can lead to recklessness with more focused opponents.
- Spends way too much time toying with opponents during matches.
Three Strengths:
- Above average to genius level intellect.
- Dangerous striker; has a Muay-Thai background.
- Extreme tolerance for pain.
