FADEIN: 'THE WOLF' MIKE RANDALLS is sitting lotus style in the center of a candlelit room. He has no shirt on, revealing a scar-laden chest and arms. He's wearing red dojo-style pants. Incense burns in front of him, as he looks deep in meditation with his eyes closed...

RANDALLS: "Some of you may have been waiting for this moment - curious to see how I would feel about the events of two weeks ago. In the span of one night, a Lost Soul crossed my path in his search for answers, a long-FORGOTTEN enemy came out of the Shadows, Eddy Love walked out unscathed choosing a path of avoidance and Chad Merritt believed he had the last laugh concerning this. Eddy Love believes he finally quieted me. Guns believes that victory rode on his arms. Chad Merritt believes that night was the result of his cunning intellect..."

RANDALLS opens his eyes and smirks...

"But where do we go from here, my friends? Yes, my shoulders were pinned to the mat. But at what cost? And at what consequences? If Eddy Love believes that by bringing back Guns he accomplished a monsterous feat - he isn't a scholar of the man's history. If Guns believes that from this one night he has proven anything besides he swings a lead pipe well to someone's back - he has forgotten a GREAT deal of history as well. And if Chad Merritt believes that by signing Guns will prolong my inevitable goal - he doesn't understand what my goal is..."

"To you Eddy Love, I don't question your motives anymore. With you, I have seen the forest for the trees. While your mouth seems ready for battle with me, I now believe that your heart does not. I see where your path lies, but let it be known that nothing set out to accomplish was completed - although, we were never given a real chance, were we? You were the pawn that Merritt moved in my way and just as quickly you were pulled back. Until a time where we stand across the ring ALONE, I consider our paths on only a beginning, Love - and nowhere NEAR a conclusion. Lucky for you, Chad wants to try and push a new piece in my picture..."

RANDALLS uncrosses his legs, stretches them and puts them together indian-style...

"But do you really think for one moment that Guns really wants to be a part of this picture, Chad? See Guns has always been the man under the mask. What is it Guns, the fifth time you've pulled this? The Shadow, El Toro - does it even matter? If you were ever the man you said you were, you would've just walked out down that ramp without leaving any guesses or questions. But you NEED that mask, Guns. 'Cause once that mask comes off, there's no element of surprise which you so DEARLY need. 'Cause let's face it, while you may be one of the well-known wrestlers of this world. The only thing we all remember are your masks, what you've done outside the ring and how you've failed inside it."

"See Chad, you should've known this. But you're so scared, you're pulling out rabbits from a hat. This whole situation REEKS of desperation and you're too blind to see that GUNS isn't going to follow the direction you want him to. Guns knows what a full-scale WAR with ME entails and I know that's not what he's here for. Slamming my back with a lead pipe got his foot through the door and without you knowing, that's all he wanted out of the situation. RARELY in his career has that man accomplished ONE-FIFTH of what he sets out to do. He's never had the determination to follow through. Seven years ago, Guns in a bitter state of jealousy, hatred and arrogance wanted to test my limits. He wanted to prove to the world he could be more sadistic, more insane and inflict more pain than any man alive. When that didn't work, he called on Hornet. That ended an era for me, but I came right back for more. And when Hornet betrayed him, he asked me for help - only I could've cared less what happened to Guns. And when that didn't work he decided he would rather wear a bottle of piss around his neck than travel the world proving he's the best wrestler on the planet. And when that didn't work he set out to win the Unified Title. And when that didn't work he wanted the CSWA World Title. And when that failed, he justly decided that the title and the whole sport were facades and not worth his time...but certainly worth his money."

"Well, I apologize to the locker room of the CSWA. Some of you have voiced your respected opinions on the influx of so-called 'legends' coming back. I returned 2 years ago to prove a great deal of things from a warrior's perspective - I didn't want feuds with Guns or Mark Windham. I wanted to see if Eddy Love, Steve Radder or Kevin Powers were all talk or not. I returned to pay Merritt back for all the wrongs he committed against me over the past 6 years. These goals have become intertwined some of you became his pawns, such as DEACON or EDDY LOVE. Only now, in his desperation he has brought back GUNS. Its just further confirmation that the man is willing to pollute his league with someone that enjoys their smell of urine so much they would rather wear that in a bottle than a championship belt. And Chad, after all these mystery tag matches, handicap matches and lead pipes to my back from enemies I eradicated a long time ago - I'm still here, still fighting the WAR. And rest assured, the time draws nearer for the total APOCALYPSE that awaits YOU and whatever scheme you come up with next. While you may have thought GUNS would be an answer, Chad - it's only made me realize how scared you are. And that alone was worth the price I paid at Anniversary..."

RANDALLS stands up and the smirk on his face is now replaced by a cold, hard stare into the camera...

"As for you Mark. I never asked you to come down. My intention was to fight ALONE. That's neither here nor there, I just don't want you to get any wrong impressions from that night. But I'll justly say welcome back Mark and I hope you've found what you're looking for. 'Cause you know as well as anyone that you're only kidding yourself by stepping into this WAR without full-well knowing what you're here for. I only question your motives right now because our history isn't much, and certainly not worth the efforts you are making to get my attention. I hope your answers haven't led you to me, Mark - 'cause the path I walk has no end and has no answers. And I would think you've worked too hard to walk away from that life to pursue it or become involved with it again. Or maybe, just like your brother, you have an addictive personality. Just know that there are no answers with me, Mark - nor is there TRUST to be had. Like yourself, I just consider myself a man bearing many cold truths of this world. But unlike you, I don't need an answer for them. All I need is to know that they were laid on me and I shall place them on those that cross my path. Its your choice to walk into the WAR, Mark - but believe me, you better be ready for the consequences..."

The camera FADES TO BLACK as RANDALLS turns his back to the camera and fades back into the darkness of the room as the candles go out...

Warped History

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Feb-25-02 AT 04:29 PM (EDT)](FADEIN: GUNS sitting on his chez lounge poolside in San Diego, sipping on an umbrella drink.)

GUNS: Mike, I'm sure the wrestling public greatly appreciates your warped sense of the history of my career...although a lot of what you say is true. I never did get to be as psychotic as you, Mike...but I did get to hear you scream for Mommy on Death Island. I never did get to wear the UNIFIED Heavyweight title, but yet that belt is long gone and we're all still standing here, aren't we? (Grins.) I've worn the CSWA World Heavyweight title...I've worn a bottle of piss...and trust me, there's not a whole lot separating the two except the smell of the bottle actually lets you know what you're holding so you don't suffer the ILLUSION that you're holding anything of VALUE. Which is more than I can say for any of the championship gold in this promotion.

You are right in a couple of things, Mike. Chad Merritt had no IDEA what he was doing when he brought me back. That's no big revelation. You didn't need a crystal ball and Miss Cleo's tarot cards to figure out that I didn't come back to tow the company line, now did you? I'm not here to fight his battles, Mike...and frankly, you and I have gone around the horn more than enough times. Behind a mask? Occassionally. Face to face? More often than not. Either way, Mike, I've beaten you. Head on, from behind, it doesn't make a difference. You want me to APOLOGIZE for hitting you from behind at Anniversary? I'm sorry, Mike...truly from the bottom of my heart. Forgive me? (Chuckles.) Didn't think so.

At Prime Time, Mikey, you get your wish...you want me to come at you head on? I'll be in that ring across from you, but you're right when you say that I'm not here for you. Oh, I'm not AFRAID of you, Mike. Just BORED by you. You and Windham, both. See, unlike you two, Eddy Love has blood that I have yet to spill...bones that I have yet to break...a body I have yet to bruise...and that's why I accepted your little four corners challenge, Mike.

You wanna ride the bull, Mike? Feel free to pay your quarter and take your chances...but don't get offended when I tell you truthfully that I'm not coming to San Diego for you. I'm not coming to San Diego for Windham. Because, like it or not, you two are part of the CSWA's PAST...and to destroy this promotion, to bring the walls down, I plan on crippling the promotion's FUTURE. (Grins.) Rome wasn't built in a day, but it didn't fall down in one either...I'm not foolish enough to think I can destroy this place with one swift blow...but I'm a patient man, and quite frankly the odds on one or both of you flaking out and ending up in a cardboard box on an interstate offramp before I'm finished here are at the very LEAST even money, so why would I waste the time and energy now?

If you're still around after I've laid the Eddy Loves, the Wicked Sights, the Evan Ahos, and whatever other young wanna-be stars are floating around here to waste, then I'll be more than happy to dance ALL NIGHT LONG like the good old days. But, at Prime Time, Mikey, all you get is a courtesy waltz, because Third Row, Inc.'s dance card has Eddy Love's name written all over it.

But don't feel bad, Mikey, because you and Mark get excellent parting gifts for playing our game...two free tickets to watch MISTER Hurricane Eddy Love go from Playboy to SOUVENIR before Bill Buckley can finish saying "OH MY GOD, GUNS JUST HURLED HIM INTO THE THIRD ROW!" See, Mikey...I'm not such a bad guy. (Grins.)

See you in San Diego...I hear the zoo is great...feel free to check it out and see if you find any relatives.

Yadda, yadda, yadda

RANDALLS: "Much like my warped sense of history, you must have a warped sense of hearing. Next time listen to what someone says before reading the handwritten template response we've all come to love over the years. And if you don't want to do that, then don't waste my time. I was done with you the moment you decided a bottle of piss was more important to your career than anything else. What hangs around your neck may be different, Guns - the result is always the same. See you in San Diego, 'King of the Whiners'."

It;s Good to be the King

GUNS: Mikey, let's make sure we understand each other. You're not done with me. (Grins.) Not by a long shot. You may WISH you were done with me...you may HOPE you're done with me...but it's not even close to OVER between us. (Smiles.)

Now, that being said, Prime Time isn't the time or the place for it to end. We've both got other agendas, from the sounds of things. I don't know what yours is...and I don't particularly care. You do your thing...I'll do mine...and that will be that, but let's not let anyone forget that YOU and you alone ASKED for this match at Prime Time. I've got a ton of things I'd rather be doing than having to take on two ghosts of CSWA Past to get my hands on one small piece of its future.

But make no mistake, Mikey...you're not done with me...until EYE say you are.
