MEMBER INFORMATION:

Name: Tom Whitefield
Email Address: tjwhitefield@yahoo.com
AIM/Yahoo Messenger: tjonlne
Preferred Method of Handling: (FW Promo, Freestyle RP, Angle/Storyline, Hybrid) Hybrid, I suppose. Freestyle RP/Angle/Storyline primarily.
Best Way to Contact you: (PM/Email/IM) E-mail.

WRESTLER INFORMATION:

Name: Tom Adler
Nicknames: "The Arch-Angel" "The Franchise" "Mr. Magnificent"

Height: 6'5"
Weight: 260
Handedness: (Right or Left) Ambidextrous, but primarily right handed.
Looks: Built a lot like Don Muraco. Muscular, but not ripped. Bulky, but not fat. Long stringy blonde hair. Often pulled back into a pony tail when not wrestling.

Hailing From: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA.

Disposition: Usually cold and calculating. Arrogant. Cocky. Does have a temper at times, though.

Gimmick: See above. Was once called the human smart-bomb of wrestling. Extremely intelligent. Prefers to out-think his opponents on most occasions.

Ring Attire: Varies. Normally it's a black and white spandex wrestling signet. But, he's been known to wrestle in cut off shorts and a t-shirt if he feels like the match is going to be a fight rather than an actual wrestling match.

Theme Music: Exodus. No specific performer, though he was rumored to have received a private recording that was performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Ring Entrance: Typically, he doesn't do much of anything. He'll usually stand at the top of the rampway, chewing gum and surveying the crowd. If his opponent is already in the ring, he typically doesn't take his eyes off of him while he's walking to and entering the ring. If he's looking for a quick way to get under his opponent's skin, he'll often spit his gum into his opponent's face. Otherwise, he'll just spit it out before he gets in the ring.

Tactics/Style: Ultra-technical. I've often seen him of a combination of Curt Hennig, Don Muraco, Ric Flair with maybe a little bit of the ECW variety of Shane Douglas and Kurt Angle thrown in for good measure.

Strengths:
-Ability to read his opponent on the fly and adjust quickly (intelligence).
-Conditioning.
-Ability to ability to absorb punishment.

Weaknessess:
-Knees.
-Age. He's 38. He doesn't see that as a major factor given the age of many wrestlers today, but realizes that there ARE advantages that come with youth. In his 20s, he wrestled over for over four hours over the course of two consecutive days. While it's unlikely you'll see him tire even in the most grueling one hour match, he knows he doesn't many four hour marathons left in his tank, either.
-Pride. Other than the match against Eddie Mayfield, which never actually took place, Adler has never actually submitted during a match. He'd rather sustain seroius injury than give up. While his knees are fairly healthy through surgury and time, it is the main reason for his problems having been as bad as they've been, and directly responsible for some of his more lengthy sabaticals.

MATCHWRITING GUIDE:

While he has a few of what some people might call signature moves, he doesn't have what one would say are standard transitions. He strives to vary his offense according to his opponent.

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY:

His history is fairly well known in FW circles. Parents were killed when he was 6 by a drunk driver. Was raised by his grandfather in a fairly poor household. Extremely gifted. Graduated from public school at age 12. Graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a degree in business at age 16. Re-enrolled the following year as a freshman with special permission of the governor so he could take part in collegic sports (which he couldn't do the first time around due to age restrictions). Lettered in football, baseball and wrestling. Graduated with a degree in pyschology. Was offered a chance to try out for the U.S. Olympic wrestling team, but passed on the advice of Maxwell Diamond, a former wrestler turned business tycoon who had hired Adler directly out of college.

Turned pro 3 years later. Has won twelve World titles in seven different federations, including the UWA World Title four times.

OPTIONAL DICE-ROLL STRATEGY INFORMATION

Divide 120 Points between:

POWER:
AGILITY: (Leaping, Air-Strike/Defense)
STAMINA:
SCIENTIFIC: (Technical/Amateur/Martial Arts Background)
SPEED: (Quickness in/out of the ring, moving around)
BRAWLING:

(Hint: Numbers ending in 0 and 5 minimizes your potential attack/defense values, try 1's and 6's)

Provide a 20-set movelist as follows:

1-10: Basic Holds/Strikes/Takedowns

Every Suplex known to man ;-), short arm clothesline. Standing dropkick.

11-15: Wear Down/Mid-Late Match Holds

Tiger Suplex, belly to belly overhead w/hammerlock. Death Lake Driver (double chickenwing belly to back suplex). Reverse Russian Leg Sweep (face first) into a Koji Clutch (The opponent lays face down on the mat. The wrestler lies face up and slightly to the side of the opponent. The wrestler then hooks their far leg across the neck of the opponent. The wrestler then hooks his hands behind the opponent's head, having one arm pass over their own leg and the other under. The wrestler then pulls backwards with his arms and pushes forward with his leg, causing pressure.)

16-18: Signature/Special Holds

Adlerplex (abdominal stretch suplexed back into a pinning position. Was his finisher for years. Now uses it more during the match than as a finisher due to people being able to kick out of it in recent years),

19: Set-up

Not really a setup hold. Most of his other moves take care of that. More of an optional finisher.

Master Lock (indian death lock/crossface combination)

20: Finisher

Adler Lock ( Chicken Wing Submission, often combined with a body vice)
