The camera fades into focus and "Mr. Irresistible" Johnny Styles is standing facing toward the camera. Immediatly you recognize that he is on a busy sidewalk. He is decked out in casual attire and has a grin running from ear to ear. He waves over the camera crew. Johnny turns from the camera and leads the crew into a building with very poor lighting. There are plenty of tables around, but all of them are empty. Johnny takes a seat at a nearby table, and motions for the camera crew to sit.

Sytles:Rookie. Midcarder. Jobber. I've been called every name in the book by some of the veterans here in GXW. But now I get my chance. Now is the time that the sexiest man in the buisness gets an opportunity to prove to all of his fans that "Mr. Irresistible" cant...wait...no....WONT be held down. I told my "Wildfire" that I wouldnt be needing his services for this match. Oh, don't worry, Vicious and Delicious are still in full swing, but how can you expect me to pass up an opportunity to best "The Truth" Tommy Rage in a Television Title Match.

Styles pauses. A slight grin crosses his face again.

Styles: Rage, there is no denying that you are one hell of a competitor. Hell, I even think that you have a win over me. But do you really want to push your luck at a second try? Let me give you a little "Truth". The truth is that at Onslaught, Im going to take that title from you. A title that rightfully belongs to me. I dont know if you remember back to the three way dance between Boogie Smallz, Reaver, and Kin Habooki. But I was the reason Smallz won. It was me! He never even had the class to give credit where credit was due. But now its my turn. Tommy, what you dont realize is that when you step into the ring with me, your going to see moves that are unbelievable, inconcievable, and most importantly, irresistible. I know, I have to wait until you do step into the ring with me. So until then, Im going to hang out right here. In Naughty Nicks Boom Boom Room. HIT IT!

"Look What The Cat Dragged In" starts playing over some loud speakers while a couple of dances appear from both sides of the screen. Johnny gets up and starts dancing with them as the camera fades to black.

(As usual Tommy Rage is seen backstage with his cohorts Token, Steve Hotbody and the Rant Ricky Gant. All but Token are relaxing in a hotel suite. Token as usual is standing with his arms crossed, staring at the camera.)

"The Truth" Tommy Rage: Well here we go again. Another challenger coming for the gold. Such a grueling schedule. I think the GXW offices are trying to kill me. I mean look at the talent levels. Boogie Smallz, some other guy who I can't even remember... but don't get me wrong, he was a tough one, almost thought he had me... and now this character.

Johnny Styles it is. I guess we don't get style points for originality. Hell he must be part of one of the biggest families in wrestling, cause God knows the Styles name hasn't been used a few million times in the past. But he's different, he is the irresistible one. I know Token thought so, right big guy.

(camer focuses on Token who remains expressionless.)

So anyway I have to face this latest epic challenge to this prestigious belt. A man who is so deserving of this shot, of his place in GXW history. A man who has done it all... wait a minute what has he done? Oh wait he's someone that admits that he's called a jobber by the boys in the back. Well you know what they say, knowing is half the battle.

Although, I shouldn't say that. We did have an epic battle didn't we. Or did we? I don't remember ever taking you on. Must not have shown me much, even if you should very well be holding the TV title right now. I mean afterall changing the outcome of a match you aren't in is usually how belts transfer ownership, isn't it. Hell at the very least it's the way to determine number one contender. Such a huge accomplishment and you got held back because of it. You were the focal point, the main event and somehow got overlooked. How dare they.

Well the GXW braintrust has decided that you deserve this battle, that you deserve a shot at my belt. I'd show it to you but it's thrown around somewhere. I think we at least have it with us somewhere, right guys?

(Hotbody shrugs, Token remains motionless)

Oh well, doesn't matter. Not like it's leaving my possession anytime soon.

Now GXW get your damn camera's out of here now.

The camera focuses in on a figure sitting at a table in a dimly lit room. The smokey air around Styles gives the atmosphere somewhat of a hazy feel. In the background there are buisness men sitting ordering from a waitress. Obviously, Styles is still haning out in the Boom Boom room just as he said he would. Johnny's eyes are fixed on something off screen, but he catches the camera out of the corner of his eye. His head turns toward the camera, and a slight smirk crosses his face before he begins addressing his audience.

Styles:Rage, you just dont get it, do you?

Johnny droops his head and shakes it back and forth slowly a few times. Then he looks back at the camera.

Styles: Listen, I admit that right now, in the Televison Title divison, your the best. You are the man to beat. I respect that. But when I helped Smallz win the title, I should have been one of the first people he gave a title shot to. I was over looked. In fact, I've been over looked a few too many times. But then again, I havent done anything great to deserve much recognition, have I? But wait, GXW hasnt given me an opportunity to do something great to earn that recognition. This is my opportunity. This is my moment. I didnt come here saying that I've done it all, or even that Im the most deserving of a title shot. But the fact remains that I am ready to take you on in the squared circle. Do you know what the worst part of this match is? Im the one acting like a champion. Have a little respect for yourself and GXW. You should wear that belt with pride. But what do you do with the championship belt? Oh, thats right! You toss it aside with a reckless disreguard. To be a champion is a great thing, but to act like one is even greater.

Styles looks away from the camera briefly, then focuses his attention back to the matter at hand.

Styles: And whats more, you have the odassity to attack the name Styles? Well, what about "The Truth"? There was Trevon "The Truth" Curry, Ron "The Truth" Killings, and many more that I could go on about. I guess the blatent truth is that your name is just as overdone as anyone elses. I look forward to our match, Tommy. I look forward to the time that I can hit you with the Centerfold Slam, and you will find it irresistible to lay on your back for the three count. Rage, I am going to win your title from you. Im going to do it because I want it more. Once we step into the ring, it doesnt matter who deserves the title. Its going to come down to who wants it more. You've had your 15 minutes, and you could have gracefully bowed out. Now you have to give credit where its due. Its too late to turn back, Tommy. I'll see you in the ring.

Styles stands up from his chair, but he pauses and looks down at the table. He reaches into the pocket of his blue jeans and pulls out a couple bucks and lays it on the table. Johnny walks past the camera, and straight out the front door.

(The Truth Tommy Rage is backstage at a GXW event. Standing over his right shoulder is Token.)

Rage: I don't get it? Maybe I don't. Any jackass that proceeds to come down to ringside and try to make a name for himself by sticking his nose into a title shot should become a top contender for that belt? And to think that most people actually try to win matches, get known and EARN the way to the top. We've really been missing out on the best way. Just be a jobber who sticks his nose into other people's business and all of a sudden you deserve something? And you have a hard time figuring out why the boys in the back call you a jobber and a midcarder.

You're the one acting like a champion, Joey? Ooops wrong Styles... How so? By making ludicrious statements and trying to blow yourself on how you were overlooked? Give me a friggen break. You aren't acting like a champion, hell you aren't even acting like a guy who belongs on Tough Enough.

Trevon Curry and Ron Killings... ironically both of those came WAY AFTER ME. If you knew jackshit about anything, you'd know that. Considering that you're out here being a professor about what professional wrestling is all about, I figured that you'd have known that. See that's the difference between you and I. I know what I'm talking about and you are just a jobber to the stars trying to to sound important.

Now if you excuse me, I'm thinking about running down to the ring now and interfering in every title match tonight... figure that should get me a world title shot by this weekend.

The camera fades into a shot of a stained door with the gold letters "13B" hung right above the peep hole. A hand reaches out and knocks a few times before an eager Johnny Styles flings open the door. Styles waves the camera crew in and takes a seat on a sofa in the next room.

Styles: Its been a while since I've crashed here in my apartment. I know its not much, but it suits me fine. There has been alot of talk about the Television title, Tommy Rage, and myself as of late. I mean, look at this matchup! We have a GXW Television Champion and rising superstar facing off in a championship match. Zieba sure knows how to get his ratings. But Im a little bit confused. You see, Rage seems to think that Im under the impression that by just interfering in a match makes me deserve a title shot. Im afraid that you've tried to twist me words around again, Rage. Im just stating that Boogie didnt know how to give credit when credit is due, a characteristic that seems to be popping up in our television champions as of late. I have worked my way to a title shot, Tommy. I've wrestled everyone that Zieba could throw at me. Sure, I had a few losses, but thats not the point. The point is that I've worked hard here in GXW to make things happen. I even called in Kin Habooki's ex-manager, "Wildfire" Johnny Rage, so that there would be another competitive tag team around here. Weird, another Rage. Yeah, I've earned this title shot, and no body can deny me of that. At Onslaught, Im going to prove to you, Zieba, Smallz, and all of GXW that its time to give the new blood a chance. You know, I also have a tag team title shot coming up here against the Monsta Boyz. You should take a look and some of their promos, those are real champions. Not a punk like you who has no respect for that title. You know what though? The powers that be see how hard I work for this company, and what a failure you are. Its no wonder that this match was booked. Your going to be awfully embarassed when you are upset by....what was the word that you keep repeating over and over and over? Oh! Jobber. Im coming with everything I've got, Rage. I really hope you give me a good fight, because your going to be incredibly sore after I put you in an uncomfortable new position.

A little smirk crosses Johnny's face as the camera fades to black with gold lettering that reads "Mr. Irresistible Johnny Styles: A Hottie with a Naughty Body."

(The scene opens up to a GXW event, backstage in the dressing room of your current television champion. In the room is “The Truth” Tommy Rage lounging on a leather couch, while his constant sidekick Token stands in the corner of the room with his arms crossed. )

“The Truth” Tommy Rage: Well I guess the most pressing question is whether I’ll have an opponent for the next Onslaught Card. I mean after all I thought I was facing what’s his name… Joey Styles, but OH MY GOD, he ditched Europe to fly home to his own apartment. So either he’s decide to forgo the obvious whipping by running home, or he’s so dedicated to seeing his little project apartment that he flew home for a few hours before hoping on another transatlantic flight. Maybe he needed to feel the security blanket effects of being home because he’s overly worried about what’s going to happen with him when he steps into the ring against the Truth.

I’m beginning to think that he chose the first because he did say something about me facing a rising superstar. You know Styles if you got a replacement to take your spot at the match you should at least have the courtesy of letting me know who it is. Since you mentioned the ratings I’ll assume that it’s someone with some talent and personality instead of you. Maybe a rematch against Boogie Smallz. The guy may be an Uncle Tom but at least he didn’t put me into a coma when he opened his mouth to speak, unlike some other person who shall remain nameless. :coughs: Styles. :coughs:

Oh did I say that, my bad. How could I not give props to someone who interfered in a title match. I almost forgot, that makes him main event material. Ooops, I better not go there again. After all I’m twisting around his own words. Not like he came out here and made a fool out of himself by stating or implying that Boogie give him a shot, move him up on the contender list or do anything other than ignore him as the attention craving low level good for nothing loser that he truly is. You said you’re “a little bit confused” Styles… and I say that you should stop underestimating things. I haven’t seen you get a grasp of anything yet, if you’re a little bit confused than the Titanic ran into a little bit of ice and the French are a little bit afraid of defending themselves when the Germans come knocking.

Maybe that confusion is why you mistakenly think that I give a rat’s **** what you think when it comes to championship behavior and how I should be acting as champion here. Maybe someday if you attack enough champs and finally capitalize on one of the numerous title shots that it earns you, you can talk to me about championship etiquette.

Till then I’ll go on being, how did you say it… a “failure”. Undefeated, holding a title, and headlining events… that’s your idea of failure? Sure you’re just “a little bit confused” ?

The camera fades into a shot of "Mr. Irresistible" Johnny Styles still in his apartment, sitting at his kitchen table. Styles has a bit of a grin on his face. Johnny Rage walks in from the living room and sits down at the table with Styles.

Rage: You ok, Styles? Bro, you look a little under the weather.

Styles: No, man. But thanks for the concern. You see, Im just focused on this match with Tommy thats coming up here at Onslaught.

Rage:Yea dude. Thats going to be one hell of an upset if you pull it off.

Styles: If? Rage, come on! We are talking about a guy that cant even tell that I havent even left the United States yet! Hell, this guy thinks Im traveling between continents! I dont know what the he's been smokin, but Im sure Boogie Smallz could answer that for us.

Rage: *snicker* Yeah man, so you caught his last promo, huh? Hey, did you hear him talking about Boogie giving you a shot?

Styles: Yeah, I dont know how many times I have to say something to get it through that guys head. I never got a shot. All I was looking for was a little pat on the back. A little encouragement to get goin here in GXW. All I ever got from Smallz was a cold shoulder. But to the task at hand, Rage is underestimating what I can do in the ring. I mean, I dont think he's been paying attention to the winning streak we've been having as of late. Obviously I beat someone to make me title contending material.

Rage: Dont let his words bring you down, boss. Just get over there, get a mark in the "Win" column, and then come back here so we can get ready for our match against the Monsta Boyz.

Styles: You focus on the Monsta Boyz. I've got business with Tommy before I can focus on anything else. Tommy has got another thing coming if he thinks Im just going to roll over for him. I mean, he can bad mouth me all he wants, but the moment he starts pulling out racist remarks like calling someone an "Uncle Tom", thats just asking for an ass whippin. Hey Johnny, I gotta get goin or Im gonna miss my flight. As for Tommy, I cant wait to put you in an uncomfortable new position...

Styles gets a goofy grin on his face while "Wildfire" walks him to the door. Styles picks up his bags, walks out the door, and slams it shut as the camera fades to black.

Note: Posted for Tommy Rage's handler.

(Fade in on the Truth Tommy Rage laughing in front of a television set.)

RAGE: I'm going to make this short and sweet, because let's face it…
everything has been said. Styles, I think you're traveling between
continents? Well you did just say you were in the United States and you did just have a match in Belfast Ireland a few days ago. You do the math. While the rest of the GXW has just stayed in Europe for this tour, you are the one that is hoping planes. But don't worry, you've proven quite well that logic and the truth are things you're willing to disregard.

The camera fades in to catch Johnny Styles standing in line to board his plane. Styles looks a little nervous and begins to look around until he spots the GXW camera crew and waves them over. A look of relief crosses his face as the camera crew approaches.

Styles: I wasnt sure if you guys were going to make it here in time. I just caught Rage's latest promo on the tv, so I had to call you guys up. Its kinda sad, isnt it Tommy? "Whats sad," you ask? Well, the fact that the worst thing you can say about me know is my choice in travel plans. Wow. What an incredible Television Champion we have.

*Styles claps his hands together a few times*

Styles: Don't worry, Tommy. I'll make it to our match, I just hope you bring that title, if you can remember where you put it.

Styles turns around, hands his ticket to a stewartess and begins to walk into the walkway. He stops, turns around and walks back behind the stewartess and begins to whisper in her ear. She listens for a few moments, but then a look of shock crosses her face and she swiftly turns around and slaps Styles. She the proceeds to march away. Styles has a goofy grin on his face. He shrugs, then returns to boarding the plane as the camera fades to black.
