Gee, there hasn't been a note under this thread in 2 months. I figure, I'll just type and see where it goes from there.
So yeah, I'm updating web pages...like usual. Hope everyone liked today's update. http://nfw.fwrestling.com - in case you missed it.
Last week's card got two thumbs up from myself, if people started writing matches or highlights besides me, Lindsay and Gregg - who knows...maybe cards will get up faster than 2 weeks.
I guess that's the problem in this fed, everyone is so important in their other ones. With what's happened in EPW, now we've got two more fedheads here.
I'm sorry to report that Shawn Hart won't be staying with NFW, even though Ryan told me he would after his 'retirement' note. I emailed him about keeping his character here through the season, but didn't get a response. (shrug)
Also, it seems that JT won't be roleplaying Stratton anymore. He'll become an NPC from now on. So like all others, I suppose he'll be feared like the plague. Seriously though, he's not going anywhere and well, we'll see how we book him...but we do have plans for him.
What else?
Week 10...judging by everything it'll be a lighter card than last week's with a few twists. The NFW East note and some silent recruiting on my end shall help that out. If anyone has time to help out with the card, I see it being out this week - but with CSWA15 around the corner and what that means for a bunch of us...I'll understand this week might not be the best week to ask. I'll just hope.
"Only a fool's hope" I know Steve...
As you saw, the NFW East join note is up. This is for real and not a joke at this point. With our plans for Season II coming up, hopefully the East will land us some talent for that crossover period when we come to it. Or who knows? 32 isn't a bad number, either.
Concerning the East and the playoffs, if there's enough interest in the East...we'll just expand the size of the playoffs. Neither the North or South will lose any spots. If there's no interest, then there's nothing to worry about...save Mike's self esteem.
Should be called Novel from Management, eh?
Since FWI and the Torch don't follow NFW too heavily, if anyone wants to write for the News site - I'm all ears on ideas.
Yeah, so that's about it for right now...
...I've got some ideas on if we want to speed up things around here, but that'd entail not RPing at all for a couple of cards. I know some of you are against such a notion, so I'll hold off on that discussion until its really needed.
Yep...
tis it, folks.
Peace.
