2/1/00 You know, I could go
into the vast corruption you people saw under "Commish"
Thomas... but frankly, we all know about it, and it wouldn't be
productive to go into it here. All I'll say is.....aren't ya
glad I'm back?
And I am back, folks. For better or
worse. No more power plays, no more ownership deals...Steve and
I have come to an agreement following the Thanksgiving fiasco.
And now...to the business at hand.
As I discussed at TWS, the CSWA didn't have any
major events scheduled for the holiday season. Due to lack of
planning and foresight by a colleague who shall remain nameless, the
CSWA found itself trying to scramble to book arenas for events.
I decided rather than giving the fans shows that were less than CSWA-caliber...that
we'd hold off and kick off the new millennium with a bang...and a
purpose.
WINTER'S WARRIORS is just over a month
away....and it should be interesting to see how things shake
out. Deacon is the World Champion, Eddy Love wants to return to
the throne, Eli Flair is out with injuries, and Troy Windham has 'lost
his smile', so to speak. And then there's the return of Hornet
and Mark Vizzack, JT Tyler...and who knows who else. All former
World Champs in their own right. And how can you count out some
of the other CSWA talent that's converging on the top tier...men like
Blade, Aaron Douglas, Steve Radder, Kevin Powers, Lawrence Stanley,
Randy Harders, Wicked Sight...and so many others. The talent
roster in the CSWA is close to an all-time high...and I intend to put
it over the top.
At the upcoming CSTV and PRIMETIME events, I'll
be making some additional announcements concerning upcoming events,
championships, as well as some changes in the front office. The
CSWA has historically been known for surprises....as TWS
continued to show. And we've only just begun....
Kayfabe note: Don't miss previous "Bottom Line"
articles to the left. And not only that, but we've gone back and dredged up ancient
history in "Enforcer Speaks" from 1995 and 1996!
