Alright -- made a few changes. If you're still having the problem staying logged in -- clear your cookies one more time, start a new session and log in again. I've tested it on FF and IE8 and it seems to be fine. Katz was able to get it to work in FF as well.

I've been having a problem today with the site hanging when I reply and edit stuff.

What color is the new skin for the board that is coming up down the pike? Is it always going to be this bright of a white color?

DON'T CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME!

...it's very calming.

No! For the love of god change the color scheme, change it the second you recieve it! This plain Jane scheme makes me want to vomit butterflies.

Also, what is this "infractions" system I see in user profile, does this mean I can give Edmunds Infractions every single time he uses a terrible browser like Chrome and he will recieve a x amount of hour(s) ban?!?

If so, I like it :D -whips out banned stick- now where is Strawsma....

I like the new look and feel of the boards a lot. It's a lot closer to what I see on other boards, and seems more streamlined. It'd be nice to be able to choose from more color schemes, but I don't mind this one that much. Just taking me some getting used to.

Edit function has been on the fritz for awhile now. NFW BIOS is legendary for this.

Chad -- Do you think it could have something to do with the NFW West/CSWA usergroups we created?

Josh -- do you have an issue with the edit function?

Truth be told, I always had a problem with edit. Basically, it seems like after awhile, your post "locks down" and no longer becomes editable. But I noticed this even in the older version. For instance, I had messed something up in HAL's profile, and had to ask Paul to go back and edit it for me because I no longer had access. I'm not sure if this has changed or not, but that was always my experience. I haven't had to edit yet.

Server is hanging due to a broader issues around PHP and not due to the boards. I'm still waiting on the hosting provider to handle it. Thankfully the server tends to reboot itself automatically and quickly to resolve the issue.

The new skin is currently slated to have blues, beige and some earth tones (my word for taupe-y, tan, etc. stuff in it). That's all dependent upon when I see an actual version of it, but that's what it's based off of.

Yeah I've gotten a mix of "I love it," "I hate it," and "it's fine." It's easy enough to leave this as a scheme to choose from. The other one in development will have more color to it and will be set as the default.

That's correct. You've got 24 hours to edit a post based on the current settings.

You have the honor of receiving the first infraction ever. Congrats!

Infractions is just a mod tool. We've never used it on here -- we pretty much just ban people like Ferraro.

That should probably be fixed...

I think I mentioned it in another thread -- I'm open to changing the setting, just need some thoughts on what it should be. I'm hesitant to allow edits at any time due to some moderation issues we've had in the past.

We're able to see the edit time in the case of RP's.

But for cases like BIOS...don't we need to keep that open-ended?

Works now.

Those who don't want to clear all your cookies, you can remove individual ones from Fwrestling.com and it'll work for you that way just as it would if you cleared all your cookies.

There may be a mod that allows this to be set by forum. However the mod is for an older version of VB, so I'll need to test it.

I've added the mod and made pretty much all the forum focused on bios to editable for all time. Please test out and let me know if it works. (Need somebody other than Brunk or Katz to do it -- they have admin power).
