Here here.

Sorry for being a ***** about things on here. This is the last I'll talk of this bracket. I've got my opinion and so does everyone else.

Christ, I hope that's not directed at me.

Uncle Chad looks like he's ready to blow his top.

Yall niggas might want to learn how to post videos to facebook, or like, take your eWrestling less seriously.

Or more seriously, depending on the situation.

Last thing I'll say on the situation:

I know a lot of FW regulars are wondering exactly how they're supposed to write, because for the life of them they can't figure out why Zero won that match. I don't personally care one way or the other, Blaine Hollywood being gone means my bracket is busted and one less legendary character to go through to win this thing. I'm only trying to simplify the argument here. I really think if someone said "Zero won because ________" and don't fill in the blank with "he wrote better roleplays" this situation would probably resolve itself. Me, I liked Zero's work, wouldn't have voted for him based on what I heard in the podcast, but I'm not a judge, and that's neither here nor there.

I liked Zero's rps. I once did an RP with Pat Gordon (Sr.) shaving (his head). He did talk about the match while he did it, but still. I think that Zero was telling his story and why/what he was going to do in UltraTitle. So what if he barely spoke? It made me want to read more of him. It wasn't completely unrelated to wrestling. He didn't have a hot cup of tea with steam swirling in the air while he lamented about whether or not some guy liked him. He wasn't killing people or dealing drugs and his RP related to him getting ready for UltraTitle. IT RELATED TO ULTRATITLE!!! So let's all be friendly to the guy because I think he's a good writer who probably should join INFINITE Wrestling (infinitewrestling.com) and is welcome to send me a PM about it.

Also, Troy Windham did THE SAME THING pretty much for his first RP, in terms of not/barely speaking. And guess what? HIS WAS GOOD, TOO. So maybe Gethard should also PM me about joining INFINITE Wrestling.

The point is they wanted to do something a little outside of the box, and I don't see what the problem is with that. Could you have seen Zero's first RP on a wrestling show? WWE even? Yes. RVD doing stretches before his match, not saying anything. 30 second clip at best. HHH and Undertaker just looking at one another. Nothing spoken. Chris Jericho grabbing the mic and then not once speaking into it. IT HAPPENED! I SAW IT! I didn't care much for the Jericho thing, but still, the point is you can and will see it on a wrestling show.

And on the podcast Stanton and Ferraro did, Colin made an excellent point - one that I've been making for the past few years, particularly when handling MaX-Files, the paranormal investigator (don't worry, he always investigated other wrestlers because he exploded up their gimmicks or something he saw them doing in his mind and thought they were something outlandish, like Mennandroids - Mennonite Androids). The point though was that wrestling is a show - in large portion television. Wrestling both has evolved and will continue to do so. Of course, by "evolved" I simply mean to say it "has changed" which is what the word really means in its root. I don't aim to suggest any ordered type of evolution such as "it has gotten better" or "adapted to fit the tastes of audiences" or whatever. If High School Musical had been more influential in the spread of musical movies, we could be seeing that on WWE. Nobody knows what wrestling will be like 10 years from now.

I say we take the new-age approach.

And by that I mean everyone wins.

That way no one feels like a loser. Problem solved...EVERYONE WINS THE ULTRATITLE! WOOOO! Let's go out for Pizza and chocolate milk and dream about the day when we grow up to be a generation of pussies! :D

Hi Colin,

Sorry I deleted my post and yours. I'd rather chat over IM/PM with the person, so it doesn't add fuel to the fire in here. Thanks.

Is there a general discussion podcast planned for the near future? I had obligations last night and had to listen to the archive, and I'll be out of the country for an extended period of time soon and won't have (non-expensive) phone access. But I've heard lots of talk in every direction, and... well, as the writer of Zero... it could be fun to contribute to that.
We'll likely do another show going through the other brackets at the end of next week. Could certainly open it up then.

1. I f*cked up on the first bold point I made. I didn't mean to imply that judges' names were anonymous (obviously, we've known who they all were since the beginning), but that they shouldn't be able to stay silent. Should've switched out "anonymous" for "silent", however, I did expand on that after the bold.

2. The angry reactions to my making two reasonable suggestions really baffles me. You would think that I asked for judges to be strip-searched and molested with a rubber glove. I'm not raging at the judges at all, already said they're doing a good job, and merely suggested that they be required to a) give an idea as to what they generally like/dislike if they have not already, and b) explain their votes. If you disagree, you disagree. Don't act like I'm pissing on the statue of your favorite Saint.

3. Chad said 'No'. Good enough for me. That's all I was waiting for: suggestion made, suggestion denied. Sh*t, maybe we need an anonymous suggestion box. :)

4. If your only contribution to this thread was "LOL @ NERDS TAKING THINGS SERIOUSLY", eat an AIDS donut. You lost the right to play the "Too cool for school" card when you signed up to write a fake wrestler on the internet.

5. Sorry Steve, but my heart does not weep gently for that poor soul who's had to endure people criticizing his fictional character. Harsh as that criticism was, it was no less valid than anyone else's criticism or praise to date. Personally, I praised his work outside FWC but said I thought he was way, way off in that one thread. Oddly enough, I thought the two post-match RPs he wrote were really good. Andy has actually been great about everything so far, and I will even host a podcast to let him tell me how wrong I am for 30 mins, PROFANITIES UNLIMITED. Have at it Hoss!

6. If one more person boils this down to Script vs. Narrative, or "Get over it, Blaine lost!" I am going to take a sh*t in a box, and overnight Fed Ex it to them. I love good narrative, stopped talking about RPs two threads ago, and made a suggestion that had very little to do with Blaine losing. As soon as Blaine's little coffin was nailed shut and it was nighty-night at the Hollywood hotel, I did the expected "WHAAAAAT?" (part of the fun, btw - reacting to surprise results), and instantly stopped caring. But hey, feel free to keep swinging at a straw man.

So being that Chad answered my suggestion with a 'No', I'm done talking about it. If future suggestions and/or critiques from me are simply not welcome, hey, lemme know. Far be it from me to piss in the campfire while you all roast marshmallows. If my presence in the tournament in general is no longer welcome, lots of luck, and may I stick around to manage Cobra and b*tch on his behalf?

Joke's on you! I just hang around on a community of fake fighters without even giving myself credibility by actually handling a fake fighter!

Also, AIDs donut. Really? Really?

Jesus titty****ing Christ, my iPod broke, so now I have to listen to the radio. The station I listen to most has no fewer than THREE grass seed advertisers on it. And the **** between Scott's and Pennington is almost like an e-fed battle. It's so irritating.

Yeah, you can't watch a freaking NHL playoff game on MSG network without 10 damn "seed your grass" commercials. Don't these motherf*ckers know that we've tried EVERYTHING and all we get is g*ddamn crab grass? Our grass can't be seeded properly - it just can't!

NOTE TO ZERO's HANDLER: If you have Zero seed his lawn in your next promo, TH will vote for the other guy. ;)
