Well,
I'd like to thank and congratulate Sean for a really inspiring roleplay battle, that I hoped everyone had as much fun reading, as I did have writing. I feel our collective work for this round will stand as some my favorite work between myself and another handler.
I think now that I have exited the tournament, I can talk a little more freely about my inspirations/literary references. Obviously the people who know me, or know my more serious work won't be entirely shocked. But I chose to work from Blood Meridian/Hunger/Only Revolutions, as well as a hilarious article from VICE about how to date rich girls, which if you haven't read will read as a typecast and secondarily is completely hilarious. As for the above books, read them. They did a lot of the same things I did, but way better(as I don't confuse myself for Hamsum/McCarthy/Faulkner/Melville).
And if you want to continue following the antics of "Street Dolphin" Pete Whealdon and his band of not so merry misfits, I am still handling in DEFIANCE(I'm coming home Justin), and The World's Longest Tag Team will be in the EPW King of Cage.
Thanks to all of my previous opponents for forcing me to actually try, and I can't say this enough for Sean, I got to cross something off of the e-w bucket list this last round. I'd like to thank him for providing an excellent foil for Whealdon, and I'd love to read the fully written match someday.
At any rate Ultratitle, I won't be back unless we need a Fake-Diesel. So Congrats to whomever wins this thing.
