(CUTTO: Ned in an aside. He's wearing a blue "Fruit of the Vine" employee T-Shirt and grey shorts)

NED: "Well the vote went the way we wanted...The rest of the tribe seems disorganized, so now we're in a position of power. The meek have inherited the earth...Mebbe I should try to sell Mary on that angle and work her into the fold..."

(CUTTO: BLAINE walking along the beach with MARY. Blaine is wearing a mostly red based Tye Dye T-Shirt and knee length blue shorts. MARY has on her Johnny Damon T-Shirt and Shorts with Pedro's #45 on the ass)

BLAINE: "And that's really where I'm just trying to see how I fit into your whole system, like, Jesus was a really great man and he was clearly someone with spirituality, but the whole Son of God thing..."

MARY: "Well, that's what our faith is, that he was the Son of God...My understanding of this world is made greater by learning from Christ and of Christ...I think knowing one's self is important in that sense, to draw a deeper connection to God it's best to truly know who you are."

(CUTTO: Blaine in an aside)

BLAINE: "Mary's really interesting...She's got her faith and she knows where she stands in this world, which is something I respect, but there's still something about her that makes it such that she just won't open up about the whole game we're in the mist of.

(CUTTO: Shot of birds flying)

(CUTTO: Blaine still in his aside)

BLAINE: "I knew about the group voting out Chris, I know that it's not a good sign for me, that I didn't support them or try to stop them...But I'm just gonna roll with whatever comes my way, this is a hell of a trip...Hopefully we don't go back to counsel soon."

(CUTTO: Wallen, Day 7)

(CUTTO: JASON, STEVE, and TIFFANY working on the shelter. Jason is wearing his grey T-Shirt and Khahi shorts, along with his 'Livestrong' yellow bracelet.

STEVE: "OK, steady....(They put the section of roof they have made into place.) Good...Whew..."

JASON: "That's been a bit of work, I can't stand the cave, the air's so stale in there."

TIFFANY: "Yeah, my throat was sore this morning..."

(CUTTO: Jason in an aside.)

JASON: "We've made a big enough shelter now for the whole tribe to sleep in, the cave was good for the first week, but now we're getting kinda sick of stuffing 4 people in there and having a mini hut on the beach. Keeping the camp going is just tough work...I'm drained from just 7 days, but I'm not quitting...I'll tough it out..."

(CUTTO: The two tribes marching towards a forest area, DOC SILVER stands waiting for them.)

DOC: "Welcome Wallen, and Shak-No, come on it...Shak-No, as you can see voted out Chris at the last Tribal Counsel."
"Today's challenge is for sleeping gear, three pillows, two air mattresses, and six blankets, winning tribe can divide them up as they see fit...The challenge itself is a simple memory game, under these coconut shells are various survivor or island themed objects, find a match and you score a point, first team to score 5 points wins reward. Wallen, who's sitting out? (STEVE and KEVIN raise their hands.)

(VINCENT goes first and instantly matches two tiny immunity idols...The teams go back and forth missing for a few players before Wallen goes on a string of bad luck, constantly revealing a match to some other item when they pick randomly trying to match something that hadn't yet been revealed. Shak-No gets a 4-2 lead when Wallen rallies to tie it. Finally VINCENT reveals a mini torch that had been seen elsewhere...All of SHAK-NO looks nervious as BLAINE trys to remember which shell it's match was under, until he gets it right and wins reward for the tribe!)

(CUTTO: Shak-No Day 8)

(CUTTO: The tribe returning from camp with their loot)

DIVA: "Sista, I'm getting a damn mattress..."

CYNTHIA: "We can work out some fair way for the whole tribe..."

DIVA: "Look, I grabbed a buncha those silly objects as good as anyone else, I NEEDS my beauty sleep, hell I'm about to have break outs, and I ain't looking like no pizza faced skank on national TV...I need a mattress...Screw the pillows...But I'm getting a mattress"

NED: "That's fine...I don't need a mattress...We'll just share the stuff, take turns on it."

DIVA: "I'm taking my turn on the mattress every damn time...I don't need nothing else but I NEED this..."

NED: "Fine fine...Have the mattress."

(CUTTO: Ned in an aside.)

NED: "Diva's just nuts...But she can't help herself...Even when we win she throws a fit...But whatever, anything that keeps heat off me."

(CUTTO: Shak-No night 8)

(CUTTO: Everyone sleeping in their shelter, They all have blankets, DIVA and NED are on air mattresses, while CYNTHIA, OLIVIA and BLAINE have pillows.)

(CUTTO: Day 9 Wallen)

(CUTTO: The tribe answering Tree mail, finding a bow and arrow, a spear, a blowgun and a target.)

(CUTTO: Tiffany in an aside. She's wearing a red von dutch tank top and matching red shorts.)

TIFFANY: "Me and Steve got the tree mail, and today's the immunity challenge, man I want this one. If we win, they'll have lost three people before we lose any."

(CUTTO: EMILIA talking to JASON)

EMILIA: "So you any good at archery?

JASON: "No, I'm not going anywhere near any bow, I had a guy in my PT sessions who tore up his whole chest from mishandling a bow."

EMILIA: "Oh geez...That sounds brutal...I think Kevin wants to be the archer anyhow."

JASON: "Well hopefully he knows what he's doing, we don't want to lose a player just to an accident."

EMILIA: "I'm sure he's on the ball enough."

(CUTTO: KARLA, in a white tank top with the Pepsi logo on it and very short black shorts talking KEVIN, who's wearing his Jefferson EMT grey T-Shirt and blue knee long shorts that have "EMT" on the bottom of the right leg.)

KARLA: "I can do the archery...I'm clearly capable of this."

KEVIN: "And so am I, I haven't done much in the challenges to this point...I'd like to be there for the team."

(MARGARET walks over into this conversation.)

MARGARET: "So what's going on here?"

KEVIN: "We both want to be archer."

KARLA: "Yeah, and I don't see why I shouldn't."

MARGARET: "Well, why not let Kevin take it, he's stronger, we'll need that for the task."

KARLA: "It's not really about being strong, it's about being accurate.

MARGARET: "and that takes strength...I think Kevin should do it...(The girls start walking away from KEVIN.) "I mean, I know in girl scouts the bigger girls always did better."

KARLA: "Oh geez, not everything is like that anymore, I'm more then capable of being the archer, or doing any of this challenge."

MARGARET: "Well, I'm gonna sit out for this one, and you could to."

KARLA: "I don't want to be seen as lazy around camp over this."

MARGARET: "Nobody's gonna think you're lazy, we just gotta rotate players cause we're up two, and hopefully it'll be three after we win this."

(CUTTO: Shak-No day 8)

(CUTTO: BLAINE and CYNTHIA looking at the bow.)

BLAINE: "I could archer if you want."

CYNTHIA: "I could do it..."

(The two of them look at each other waiting for the other to take the lead on the issue when MARY, reading the Tree mail walks in.)

MARY: "Can I archer? Oh I really want to do this!"

BLAINE: "Sure..."

CYNTHIA: "Go ahead."

MARY: "Oh bless you! Thank you, I won't let you down!"

(CUTTO: Mary in an aside.)

MARY: "Oh I about jumped for joy when I read the mail, I really felt like this was my moment to stand up for my tribe and show everyone I could do something for them. I just put my faith in the Lord that He shall do what it best for all of us..."

(CUTTO: Olivia in an aside.)

OLIVIA: "Well, if Mary blows it, it'll give us a good excuse to vote her off, but man, we need to win one of these or we won't have any tribe left when the merger hits."

(CUTTO: The tribes walking towards the beach.)

DOC: "OK, today's challenge is for immunity, win, and you're safe, lose, and you go to counsel tonight and somebody gets voted off...The challenge is simple, each tribe will select an archer, that archer will get to shoot the number of arrows won by the rest of his or her tribemates. The first challenge will be the blow-gun, tribe with the closest shot will win 2 arrows for their archer, losing tribe gets 1 for their archer...Second challenge will be the spear, tribe who gets closest to the bullseye gets 2 arrows for their archer, losers get 1..."

DOC: "Finally the archers will step up, and whichever archer gets closest to
the bullseye with an arrow will win immunity for their tribe."

DOC: "Who will be the archers?" (MARY and KEVIN raise their hands) "Mary for Shak-No, Kevin for Wallen, who's sitting out for Wallen? (MARGARET and KARLA raise their hands.) OK...Have a seat, and we'll get ready.

(CUTTO: A line drawn in the sand the players have to stand behind and a target with 8 rings on it standing about 15 feet away.)

(CUTTO: MARY kneeling in prayer, KEVIN standing arms crossed his chest, watching as the teams line up for the blow gun challenge.)

(The challenge is an excersize in futility, as most people fail to hit the board, finally NED hits the board with a shot that is in the 5th circle, which blows away anyone else's attempt.)

DOC: "Shak-No wins the Blow-Gun portion of the challenge, that's two arrows for Mary, one for Kevin."

(CUTTO: OLIVIA landing a good mark with her lead off throw with the spear...Each WALLEN attempt to counter comes up short, winning the spear challenge for Shak-No)

DOC: "Shak-No wins the spear throwing challenge...Mary has 4 arrows to Kevin's 2 as we go to the archery..."

(MARY and KEVIN paper rock scissors to see who shoots first...And KEVIN wins, MARY shoots first and hits the 6th ring. KEVIN responds by hitting the 6th ring also.)

DOC: "I can't really tell who's closer, hopefully you won't make me get out the tape measure and put up something a little more clear cut)

(MARY misses the board totally with her 2nd arrow and shakes her head in disgust. KEVIN hits the 4th ring. TIFFANY jumps in celebration. As all of WALLEN looks hopeful.)

DOC: "Mary has 2 shots to win immunity for her tribe, she has to beat the mark Kevin has made..."

(MARY hits the 4th ring, but outside of KEVIN's shot with her 3rd arrow...CUTTO: Varios shots of SHAK-NO and WALLEN tribe members looking on nervous as MARY lines up her final shot.)

DOC: "This is it, if Mary makes it, Shak-No wins immunity...If not, their third straight Tribal Counsel..."

(MARY lets the arrow fly, and it hits the 3rd ring! CNYTHIA, OLIVIA, and DIVA begin celebrating wildly, joined by BLAINE and NED after a few moments,
MARY points skyward and holds her arms over her head before joining her team mates. KEVIN looks disgusted as he shakes his head.)

DOC: "SHAK-NO WINS IMMUNITY!" (DIVA takes the Kiwi-Bird Idol from DOC and walks over to SHAK-NO with it...She does a crazy ass shaking dance after a beat or two and the giddy SHAK-NO tribe leave the beach with the Immunity Idol. Everyone on WALLEN looks a bit stunned to have lost.)

(CUTTO: KEVIN in an aside.)

KEVIN: "I know I didn't have as many arrows as Mary and people are telling me it's OK, but I feel I let the tribe down and it hurts. I really want to make up for this. If anyone wants to pin this loss and me and vote me out, that's up to them, but I'm not going quiet."

(CUTTO: MARGARET and KARLA talking.)

MARGARET: "It sucks that we lost...Man, I was hoping we'd just more or less run the table with them and just have it easy."

KARLA: "Yeah, it is awful we got beat...Sucks to send anyone home."

MARGARET: "Well I think we would be better off voting off the men, might start with Vincent, he's kinda pushy around camp."

KARLA: "That's true...I'll talk to people and we'll try to get rid of him."

MARGARET: "Good..."

(CUTTO: Margaret in an aside.)

MARGARET: "I talked Karla into voting off Vincent, and now that she's off doing that I can do what I want, which is vote off Karla...We've been kinda butting heads over things for the past few days, and I've gotten sick of it...So well, with any luck she'll be going home."

(CUTTO: A quick montage of scenes of MARGARET talking to her whole tribe one by one.)

(CUTTO: KARLA doing the same.)

(CUTTO: The tribe at counsel.)

DOC: "Welcome everyone...OK...First time here...Let's start with Emilia, do you feel that in the 9 days you've been on this island, that any leaders have emerged in the tribe?"

EMILIA: "Peggy's made a lot of helpful suggestions concerning the tribe. I don't think she meant to put herself in a leadership position, but rather subtlely slid into the role. She's been great around camp."

DOC: "Peggy...So, well, with what Emilia's said...Do you feel you're a leader in this tribe?"

MARGARET: "Leader? I don't know. I am just trying to do what is best for the tribe. I think we are all leaders in a way when we go out there and we do our best to make sure we don't have to go to counsel."

DOC: "OK...Tiffany, do you feel that you've pulled your weight around camp, why shouldn't you go tonight?"

TIFFANY: "have i pulled my weight? no...have i been given a chance? no...everyone else wants to jump in and be the front runner of everything and act like they can handle themselves...if they want to do it all and not give me the chance to step up and show them what i've got, then let them be."

(CUTTO: Quick shots of rather surprised reactions from EMILIA and KEVIN.)

DOC: "Jason...Clearly this is a bit more then you expected, why should your
tribe keep somebody who could break down in the near future."

JASON: "Because I've been doing all I can for this tribe, and I won't quit on them. I hope they won't quit on me."

DOC: "Vincent, how has the tribe changed now that you've lost your first immunity challenge?"

VINCENT: "Well politics clearly come into play, people are looking for a way to stay in the game, and it's really now about survival, so yeah, the whole happy go lucky side of things is gone and you really have to play the game more,"

DOC: "Steve...You're a big strong guy, clearly you could be seen as a threat, why should this tribe keep somebody like you around when you could be a danger in the future?"

STEVE: "Thinking ahead in terms of the game is fine, but thinking too far ahead can be dangerous...fact is that at right now keeping "somebody like me" around means that things are going to get done more efficiently. Being a big strong guy might be seen as a threat by some people at some point, but by others, myself included, it can be seen as a helpful aspect of the tribe."

DOC: "Karla, you've clearly been doing what you can to keep yourself in the game, where do you draw the line when it comes to lying?"

KARLA: "I think everyone's going to lie to win this game, so I don't really see it as a line more as just how far are you willing to go to win...It's about that simple."

DOC: "Kevin, you were the archer for the losing team so there is a certain amount of blame on your shoulders for the loss...Any worries about tonight?"

KEVIN: "You're always worried going into a vote...I know it could be me, I really hope it isn't, I came here to play for a long time, to help my tribe for as long as I could, so I want to stay...I'm here for the long haul."

DOC: "With that it's time to vote...Kevin, you're up"

(KEVIN votes we don't see it)

(EMILIA votes we don't see it)

(KARLA votes, she holds it up reading "Vincent")

KARLA: "Sorry, but somebody's gotta go, and it's you."

(MARGARET votes, we don't see it)

(JASON votes, we don't see it)

(TIFFANY votes, we don't see it)

(VINCENT votes, he holds up his vote reading "Karla")

VINCENT: "It's just the way it goes"

(STEVE votes, we don't see it)

(CUTTO: DOC)

DOC: "I'll tally the votes"

(CUTTO: DOC with the cookie jar o' doom)

DOC: "First vote...Vincent." (He doesn't react)

DOC: "Next Vote...Margaret." (She doesn't react)

DOC: "Next Vote...Karla" (KARLA looks a bit surprised)

DOC: "Next Vote...Karla" (KARLA shoots a quick glance at MARGARET who doesn't return it)

DOC: "That's 2 votes Karla, one vote Vincent, one vote Margaret...Next vote...Karla Three votes Karla, 1 vote Margaret, one vote Vincent" (KARLA shakes her head, now pretty sure she's been tricked.)

DOC: "Next vote...3rd person voted out of Survivor New Zealand is Karla..."

(DOC reveals the fatal vote, as with 4 votes for KARLA, and 2 votes split for MARGARET and VINCENT the final 2 votes are meaningless.) "You'll have to bring me your torch..." (KARLA shoots a glare at MARGARET as she walks over to DOC)

DOC: "Karla...The tribe has spoken...(DOC puts out KARLA's torch and she leaves)

DOC: "Well I think tonight's vote clearly shows both who's leading this tribe and that there may be trouble on the home front, grab your torches, head back to camp."

(the tribe heads back to camp looking generally happy, except for MARGARET who looks disgusted about the vote against her.)
