Unfortunately, my opponents tremble in such fear of Castor Strife that they avoid even clicking on the forum itself. Right now, there are really good odds that I win this thing on 7 consecutive no-shows. In fact, I'm calling it.

I call Zero is still shaving against you in the finals or wherever and still working his 900 part lifetime melo-drama

Maybe we'll meet in the finals after each having 6 consecutive no-shows, then one of us can just no-show the final, just to keep the streak alive. (Flip a coin?)

Hopper its nice to know I REALLY DISAPPOINTED you. Get in line with my parents, wife, and 11th grade science teacher who thought I'd be a NASCAR Driver. I think I have to conquer my fear of Space Mountain first. No, not that space mountain...

I don't think the remark about Pete stealing Bronte's bag and making a sexist remark is that big of a deal. I didn't physically use the character. My hope was he played off it and we had a little fun with it. I mean, it seems its something Whealdon would do. Haze the rookie/chic manager. I remember hearing years ago that Randy Orton **** in a Diva's duffle bag.

Of course Aaron was free to say, hey you're on crack ***** that didn't happen. It was just a throwaway line to build heat between the two. I'm sure it was the wrong thing to do given I haven't worked with/against Aaron before, etc. But, hey..i thought it was harmless and would've been more fun just to riff off it.

I enjoy the Whealdon character. Good stuff. I think he should move on and if so, its well deserved.

Happy with my roleplays too. I tried to switch it up and go with script form. Maybe it cost me. Looking back there's always stuff you'd do different, but i'm just learning the characters. Had fun. This was the goal at the start. Knock off Stevens and REALLY DISAPPOINT in the second round. Success!

You realize that the disappointment was in compared to last round and not in general like.....parents, wife, and 11th grade teachers, right?

;-)

You shocked the heck out of my in RD 1.....probably like most people if they truly admit it. I think either guy going through would be interesting. I just hope I am the one waiting in the wings....all of us are at the judges mercy!

Eh depends on who you talk to. LOL

I do like what I have seen out of you as a whole and that is cool because you are somebody completely new to me, which is always good after 17 yrs in the game. :)

No hard feelings or anything, hopefully you stick around. Next time we can work out something creepy more in the spirit of the characters involved ;-)

I appreciate the feedback on my RPs for this round for The Sergeant. I've been away from ANY form of creative writing for about five years, and I am rusty as hell. I've found so far in the tournament that my first RP is good, and my opponents have given me nothing to build off of in the way of direction with them, so I have to make some **** up and roll with it for my second RP. That's no disrespect to my opponents, just a testament to my rustiness in creative writing. It's not me dialing it back or coasting... it's me not being very good anymore, hahaha. I will say that when I RP, I try to do one earlier and one at somewhere past the halfway point. With my schedule, it doesn't do me any good to wait until the very end... and besides, judges mentioned in the podcast that they like earlier RPs.

I appreciate Hopper taking the time to score the bout in my weird way (decimals, lol).

Castor V. Strife vs. Sammy Brown: We need not worry about a Free Sammy Brown movement going down.

Leyenda de Ocho vs. Orphan: I liked the concept that Ocho was trying to pull off -- he's really one of the more underrated characters in the tourney. Orphan's material was long, and while he lost me a bit on his first RP, his second one really drew me in and kept me interested -- and it was the perfect response to Ocho's work. That second RP put Orphan over the top in my eyes.

The Sergeant vs. Derrick Allen: Sergeant's RPs were really enjoyable and came off quite well considering his first two went up before Allen responded. And while Allen gave it a good effort, I think he came up a bit short on what he wanted to pull off. Sergeant is my pick.

Classy Mike C vs. Spooky Doom: I've been in federations where the fourth wall is broken, and in other feds, it happens once in a while, but you have to be careful doing it too much. With that said, I think each handler had a good idea in mind, but I think Spooky executed it better and I give him the edge.

Eddie Whisky vs. Khristian Keller: I liked Eddie's work -- he was to the point and got his message across nicely. Keller had solid work but not enough to get him past Eddie in my eyes.

Larry Tact vs. Chris Hopper: This was a close battle and I saw good material from both guys. I think Tact had a little more meat to what he wrote, though, whereas Hopper seemed to be fishing for material at a couple of points. Tact is my pick.

Jason Murray vs. Pete Wheadon: I understand what Murray was trying to pull off and I can respect that Wheadon would respond to it -- but the direction just didn't do it for me. While I won't say I was disappointed in the work, I don't think either handle had work that was as good as they had in the first round. I give the edge to Murray because I think his material was at least a bit more focused.

Doc Silver vs. Anarky: I do not envy the judges here. This RP battle was a tremendous one between two guys who knew each other well and each instantly knew how his character would play off the other. I think Doc won round one but Anarky won round two (that is, Doc's first RP was better, Anarky's second RP was better). I would not be surprised to see either character win, given that both Mike and Josh brought their A games. With all that said... I'm going against the odds and I'm picking Anarky as he went first in the battle and had a really good showing on the second RP.

Glad you liked it! I understand why Ocho's been getting hate - my first round was frankly not good. I'm just glad to be part of an entertaining program.
