World Wrestling League Looking For A Few Good Men (And Women)!
Posted by Andrew Medina
on October 2 at 8:17 PM

Hello wrestling fans, this is the owner and president of the World Wrestling League telling giving you an update on what's been going on.

So far, the draft recruitment turnout has been truly great. Although we aren't exactly where we want to be, we're close to our goal. With that in mind, allow me to make a personal invitation to any and all wrestlers looking to join a wrestling organization that is trying to take a unique twist in our sport.

The World Wrestling League come October 12th will be holding its first ever live draft, where we will determine the rosters of each territory under the WWL banner.

Here's where you come in: We're looking for not only any singles wrestlers willing to take a chance in a new and exciting venture, but we're also calling out all tag teams and women wrestlers who wish to once again love the sport they've come to cherish so much.

After the live draft and once each roster is set in place, we will being our tournament titled "Lord of the Ring", where every single singles wrestler in each fed will compete. The winner of each tournament bracket in each territory federation will be that territory's regional champion. Then, at the WWL's very first all-territories pay-per-view, One, the regional champions will face off to vie for coveted title that has 8 year of history: the WWL World Heavyweight Championship.

For you Tag Teams and Womens wrestlers, fear not. We will also be holding tournaments for the WWL World Tag Team and Womens Titles should we receive a decent amount of entries. So don't think for a second we're overlooking you because we do want tag teams and women wrestlers in the World Wrestling League.

If you feel this is something you are interested, then head over the WWL Boards in FW Central. Then go to the News section to find all the information you need concerning the new direction the WWL will be headed and then go to the Main Office for a draft application. Follow the instructions and you will get a response stating your application has been accepted.

We at the World Wrestling League are just asking for a chance to give you the fun and excitement you look for in your favorite sport and hopefully well exceed any expectations you have for us. Thank you for your time.

Regards,

Andrew Medina
WWL Owner and President

WWL Salvation - New York City Preview
Posted by Emanuel Gonzago
on September 27 at 8:45 AM

The World Wrestling League is set to take professional wrestling by storm once again as the returning president and owner, Andrew Medina, holds the very last Salvation show with his company as a whole. This event will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the most famous arena in the world.

The main event should prove to be a hot one, as Nevada Smith, the very last WWL Heavyweight Champion before the WWL splits into territorial federations, gets set to take on Copycat. Copycat has heard Nevada Smith's complaints on the direction President Medina is taking the company and took a shocking move in defending the president's actions. But what's going on between the two more than meets the eye.

The featured bout of the night should see some high-flying, mat-wrestling action as Minion, who has had some great success within the World Wrestling League, gets set to take on a man who will make his debut with the WWL, Fanatic! Both men have an air of mystery and this should prove to be something that would impress not only President Medina, but the three owners of the territorial federations!

Then we move on from the enigmatic to the strange as in a Triple Threat match, Damien Priest, with his motely crew The Horror Show, will get set to face El Arcangel, who handed Priest his very first lost in the WWL as Diablo, and throw in a man who will also make his debut, former CWWF World Heavyweight Champion....Triple Cross! Tempers are flaring up for this one as the fans and myself can not wait for this one to go down!

Vladimir Vlachinko, who makes his return to the World Wrestling League, will face Osama Bin Chillin', in the battle of who's worst? A Middle Eastern or a Russian? Okay, okay.....I shouldn't be so rude and disrespectful, but nevertheless, this match will have a true clash of styles with Vlachinko's professional in ring abilities going against Bin Chillin's unorthodox, kamikazi style. I'm looking for this one to steal the show personally.

Mindriot, who was fired by Sean Edmunds, was rehired by President Medina and he will enter the squared circle as he goes up against "Lethal" Lex Taylor, a veteran with roots in the CSWA. I'm looking forward to this match very much. This might be another show-stealer for sure. I'm looking for Mindriot to show a bit of resentment towards the WWL for firing him in the first place, just when he was becoming one of the newest, hottest stars in this sport. But he needs to control it if he's going to one-up Taylor, who will prove to be quite a challenge.

Gideon S. Darkheart is coming back to the World Wrestling League and has brought a monster with him! Did you see what he did to Captain Nappi?! Darkheart better not take Deranged so lightly however, because this guy will be on the hunt to destroy Darkheart. But the question always remains when dealing with Gideon S. Darkheart: Will he wrestle or have someone else wrestle for him? We'll find that out soon enough.

Kevin Gordon will also make his debut in the WWL, as he gets set to take on the returning Mad Caddy. Both men have ran into each other in federations such as the XWF, so I'm looking forward to a classic wrestling match between these two young athletes.

If you want to look at the future of the World Wrestling League and what is in store for it, then you're gonna look no further than this match. Ruckus, who is just 21 years old, with a veteran manager Dr. Johnny Wildside by his side, will take on Thunder Cat, who is even younger at the age of 18. Considering that Dizz, a former WWL Tri-American Champion, became the youngest champion of any kind in the World Wrestling League at the age of 18, let's just say that the wrestling world's future looks really bright.

And our first match of the card, but certainly not last previewed, we will have Lady Cryptonite, who has not only been a Women's Champion in the WWL, but in two other feds, will get set to take on Tiffany. I'm sorry fans, but I think women's wrestling is on a rise and it will start at MSG with these two spectacular individuals.

Folks, you can't miss your oppotunity to see the World Wrestling League's final Salvation show as it will all take place one day before the Live Draft, October 11th, 2002. President Medina is expected to make a huge announcement with all the details about the transition the WWL will be going through. I just hope I still have a job after this great event takes place in New York City. There are rumors that several other ring announcers will be trying out for jobs for positions in the three territorial federations, so I hope Dave Edwards is on his A game, which I'm sure he will be.

There have also been some other rumors concerning the return of other wrestling superstars. "Rage O' Fire" Jared Wells' name has been circulating for awhile now. There was even another rumor that President Medina contacted Edmunds to come back as a wrestler once again. Others who have come and gone from the WWL, as well as fresh new faces, will be in some form present at Salvation.

Well with that in mind, this has been Emanuel Gonzago saying, take care and.....I hope I'm still doing this when it's all said and done!

(To view the current action going on for WWL Salvation, go to WWL Matches on FW Central to check it out!)

[TSW] Saturday Night Fuel Preview
Posted by Ryan Kila
on September 21 at 12:25 AM

SAN DIEGO, CA 09/20/02 (Business Wire) - San Diego Sports Arena. The holding place of this week's edition of TSW's Saturday Night Fuel! Action is sure to be present, and so is the presence of TSW's Finacial Problems.

The night will kick off with some action conserning Math Man. He was scheduled to fight Daddy Mack, but with his recent departure, who will step to the plate?

Next up, is the battle between two rising stars here at TSW, Wes Gasmex and Smith. Both men finally returning San Diego, to show their fans some great action in an American Title Match!

Then, a triple threat Hardcore match for the number one contendership to the Extreme title. Will Sky High, Onslaught, or Lone Wolf prevail and be the number one contender, or will a new stipulation come into play with the recent departure of the Extreme Champion?

Katsudo takes on Lawman next, which promises to be an excellent match up with a theme of veteran versus rookie.

And finally, Genesis was scheduled to take on Extreme Champion, Jackhammer and puts his TSW World Title on the line, but Jackhammer recently quit, leaving the Extreme Championship vacant!

All this is scheduled, but what can actually take place? Only one way to find out and that is to tune in Saturday Night at 8:00 PM PST on USA!

[EWF] Ash Returns?!?!
Posted by Jack Ramsey
on September 16 at 8:31 PM

[[Ahh a sunny day the Empire Headquarters. A nice quiet beautiful day.

A rented black mustang convertible drives up, with Alice in Chains blaring over the stereo, and out steps Ash. Yep Ash, ya know that guy who retired. And somebody else. One would think that Ash has no business at the Empire Headquarters, but a vision struck Ash several months ago and now that he has nothing to do it really has been nagging at Ash’s brain. A grand inspiration that was conceived many months ago is finally coming to a head......

ASH WANTS TO HOST HIS OWN SHOW!]]

::That somebody else is David Fletcher, a friend of Ash’s that has always dreamed of being a announcer.::

Ash and Fletcher take an elevator to the 41st floor.

Ash: Now let me do the talking Dave....

After walking down an endless corridor Ash and Fletcher arrive at an office door. The sign reads "EWF Executive Ron Scott." Ron Scott is Jon’s annoying cousin, who pestered until Jon gave him some meaningless Job as Copyright Director. Ron is the dude that gives permission to use the EWF name, logo, and likeness. Just the man Ash wanted to see.

Ash knocks on the door and a gruff voice answers

Ron Scott: Come on in!

Ash and Fletcher enter not knowing what they expect to see. And then they see it......Ron Scott, imagine Jon Scott only add 200 pounds. And what was Ron Scott doing? Ash saw Ron Scott on top of his desk in his underwear. ::

Ron Scott: Oh SPANK ME, SPANK ME HARD!

Ash: What?

Ron Scott (Embarrassed); Oh your not the lady from the escort service are you? (Ron Scott puts his white shirt back on and his clip-on tie and goes back behind his desk) May I help you.

Ash (A bit rattled): Yyyeah ah I’m Ash as you know...And This is David Fletcher.

David Fletcher: Hi! I’m David Fletcher!

Ash: And we had an idea for a show...

Ron Scott: Oh really? What kind of show?

Ash: Well a show about the EWF......I was thinking that we could talk about EWF Events and have matches..

Ron Scott: Hold on here! Now quite frankly in the interest of fairness I must ask if you would hold up to the high standards of the Empire Wrestling Federation.

Ash: What are you talking about? I want the right are you gonna give me the rights or not?

Ron Scott: No.

Ash: NO!?

Ron Scott: Quite Frankly I do not feel that you would withhold the scared honor and dignity of the EWF Trademark.

Ash: What are you talking about?

Ron Scott: We here at the Empire Wrestling Federation believe in good, wholesome family entertainment.

Ash: And your point being.

Ron Scott: Quite frankly, you’re spooky.

Ash: What?

Ron Scott: Quite Frankly your spooky, we can’t allow spooky gentlemen on an EWF trademarked Show.

Ash: This is asinine.

Ron Scott: Quite frank-

::Ash grabs Scott ‘s shirt.::

Ash (Threatening): Listen I’ll get spooky on your ass if you don’t give me that show, damn you!

Ron Scott: Okay Okay.

(And with that Ash and Fletcher leave the Empire Headquarters............

GOD HELP US ALL ASH HAS GOT HIS OWN SHOW!

Premeiring Wednesday September 25th!

The event saw Shane Southern give his first speech at the United States Champion, challenging his fellow CSWA stars to step up with him against the GXW and the Intruders.

CSWA: FISH FUND Online
Posted by Rudy Seitzer
on August 21 at 1:42 AM

FISH FUND XIII, the CSWA's latest pay-per-view on August 3rd, was released on the web for free earlier today.

The three-hour event culminated in a main event featuring the CSWA World Title match between champion Evan Aho and Mark Windham, which saw "The Living Legend" return to glory. The aftermath, however, saw another man take the title from him.

Shane Southern stepped up the ladder by becoming the US Champion, defeating Hornet, Triple X and Dan Ryan in a Four Corners match. Southern won the match clean, but suffered afterwards as the GXW contingent added its newest member, "Wicked Sight" Mike Plett.

Plett lost his bid at the Greensboro Title earlier in the night, getting rocked by the "Strongest Arms In The World" GUNS, who tried to trump Plett's traitorous turn by teaming up with The Professionals.

Miles and Mayfield won the Unified Tag Titles, escaping the cage in the "Exit To Eden" match against Simply Stunning. They even threw in a swerve to make it look like they had heat with GUNS, only to team up as a new stable, "The Intruders."

Tom Adler retained the Presidential Championship over Cameron Cruise and Lawrence Stanley, although with assists by Nathan Storm and commentator Eric Wright. After the mtach, Cruise was reunited with his manager and love interest, Mercedes.

Kevin Powers won the Elimination Tag match for he and his teammate Nate Logan. But Eddy Love and Steve Radder's punishment came after the match, when the NEW PLR was revealed.... Powers, Logan, and the returning Rob Sampson.

And Joey Melton's World Title shot turned out to be a joke, as Melton got a shot at the "World Junior Junior" championship, against a midget meant to be Eddy Love. Whether the farce was set up by Melton or Merritt remains to be seen.

Be sure to check out the three-hour event, linked below!

XWF X-Treme Report (08/20/02)
Posted by Aaron Wolf
on August 20 at 7:52 PM

Welcome XWF fans to the X-Treme Report!

In it's first card in several months, the X Wrestling Federation returned with a vengeance! Held in Los Angeles, California, millions of fans were treated to a spectacular show from the Staples Center. The national anthem was sung by pop sensation, Britney Spears, who had another vulgar mishap with Britney haters.

The show kicked off with the announcement of the new XWF president. Founder and owner of XWF, Xandor Alvarez, named his nephew, former CWWF World Champion and UPW North American Champion, Triple Cross, the new head of XWF. Triple Cross made an instant impact by announcing that he was the investor that stalled the XWF-CWWF merger. In doing so, he bought out some of the contracts of CWWF's top talent. The merger will not occur. In his first act as president, Triple Cross promised the debut of a superstar in XWF. He would be a former CWWF World Champion. Who could be it be? We find out later!

In the opening match, CWWF Texas Tag Champions, Volma and Antares faced off against CWWF TV Champion Predator and CWWF Texas Champion Hacker. Predator and Hacker had difficulty teaming as they turned on each other several times during the match. The match was declared a no contest after Hacker delivered the Virus to Predator.

In a strange twist, the Backseat Boyz walked out of X-Treme after new XWF president Triple Cross refused to play their newest music video. What made things worse was the fact that the Backseat Boyz were booked for a match that night.

In the first of two triple threat matches, Jon Savage, Static, and Keving Gordon faced off. The match went back and forth, but it was Kevin Gordon who scored the win by hitting The Pose on Jon Savage.

In a tag match scheduled to be the Unholy Alliance versus the Backseat Boyz, Jared Justice and "The Future" Brett Irvine faced eWu World Champion Shawn Hart and Alexander Jerusalem in an impromptu match. The Unholy Alliance got a tainted victory when jWo member, Hakujin, ran in hit a powerbomb-like move on Shawn Hart with the ref's back turned. Justice took advantage and got the pinfall.

In the first of two scheduled title matches and the second triple threat match, the XWF Ladies Championship was on the line. Defending champion Tiffany faced Lady Cryptonite and Helena Night. In a match filled with intrigue, Lady Cryptonite made Tiffany tap to win the XWF Ladies Title. During the match, a mysterious duo,a man and a woman, arrived to help Vulture during an altercation.

After the match, before Tiffany and Deranged could leave, Triple Cross showed up and made an impromptu match between Tiffany and XWF Commissioner Lindsay Troy. What was at stake? The use of the name "Queen of the Ring" in XWF. In a squash, Lindsay Troy retained her moniker.

Another announcement was made in XWF as Ryan Aston, former WWL executive was named Director of Wrestling Affairs by Xandor Alvarez. He challenged anyone from the XWF roster to come forward and lead XWF into success. "The Future" Brett Irvine responded but was laid out by the enigmatic XWF newcomer, Minion.

In the featured match of the evening, XWF Challenger Champion Haven defended against Deranged. In a gruesome match, Haven retained as orderlies from an insane asylum came down and took Deranged away with the help of Haven.

Finally in the main event, Triple Cross announced that since CWWF was dead, CWWF Champion Darren Stone had no real title. To make things interesting, Triple Cross sanctioned the match between Darren Stone and XWF World Champion The Jobber a title match. The match seemed one sided as the bigger Stone got the best of Jobber until Jobber hit a spear into Stone's right knee. The injured Stone writhed in pain, when suddenly Chaos ran down to the ring. Chaos then proceeded to help Jobber inflict more damage on Stone. Was Chaos the promised superstar? No! While both men beat on Stone, Suicide made his XWF debut by clearing the ring. The match was declared a no-contest and Jobber retained the XWF World Title. Suicide challenged Stone for the defunct CWWF Title. Stone still has to respond.

That's it for XWF X-Treme. For more details and the entire card go to the XWF forums at FW Central. See you next time for XWF Havoc!

GXW: Prelude to Revolution
Posted by Joey Tyler
on August 4 at 4:00 PM

Just when the dust settled and the smoke cleared, GXW's Global Warfare pay per view was supposed to answer alot of questions ... which it did, but it also left NEW unanswered questions! So now, more than ever, GXW will present Revolution once again and HOPEFULLY these questions can be answered as well!

Not only is the SOLE OWNER of GXW Erik Zieba expected to be on the card, but so is Commissioner JP. Now that Chad Dupree is no longer the co-owner where does this leave JP? Will Zieba fire him at Revolution?

Although Mason and Tate didn't make an impressive showing as of late they are expected to redeem themselves at Revolution, but now they'll have to take on Horror Business and they have been on a HUGE tear since entering the federation. Can Mason and Tate find their winning streak once again or will The Horror Business stop them cold in their tracks!

Trynyty Wang did what she said and she proved to Miso that her honor was intact, but what she DIDN'T expect was to have Jennifer Rowe ON HER after the match! So now, because of this, 'The Blonde Bomber' Jennifer Rowe will face GXW's Ladies champion Trynyty Wang for the title!

In need to pump life back into the cruiserweight division, Vice President Les McCarver has order two new crusierweights to debut at Revolution. Therefore get ready to see two new exciting wrestlers debut in GXW as 'Wonderboy' Kyle White takes on the man known as Logan!

After making a HUGE statement at Global Warfare, 'The People's Choice' Cole Steele is more than ready to make his presence known in GXW once again. On the other hand it was 'The Throwback' Troy Douglas that Steele made that statement against! And now, at Revolution, these two will face off one on one. Will Douglas get his redemption or will Steele continue on and make another huge impact in the federation!

In a non-title encounter it'll be 'Mr. Main Event' Rob Sampson taking on 'Good God' Kevin Powers. Recently Sampson made his stake to claim as he dismantled Justin Tyler at Global Warfare. On the same token, it was Kevin Powers that showed Gabriel Bane that he is someone you do NOT want to mess with. Now these former friends slash former enemies will face eachother once again, but the question is will Tyler and Bane be lurking in the shadows?

In another match it'll be True Living Colors taking on The Monsta Boyz. TLC, going for desperate measures, have said that if they do not win this match then they will walk away from GXW forever! Will they get their win tonight? Some are saying this might be their chance since recent newcomers The Monsta Boyz haven't seen a win in quite some time. Can The Monsta Boyz get TLC to pack their bags or will TLC finally shine and continue to make The Monsta Boyz the self-proclaimed 'Job Squad' in GXW!

And finally, in THE MAIN EVENT, it is a return match of shorts as current GXW Unified World Heavyweight Champion 'The Ego Buster' Day Ryan will take on GXW's King of the Cage Kendall Codine and John Miller in a Triple Threat for the World Title!

See these matches and plenty more when GXW brings you Revolution LIVE from The First Union Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Don'cha DARE MISS IT!

fWo House Show Report 8-2
Posted by Mike Burke
on August 3 at 8:34 PM

Just got back from the arena after seeing the "big" fWo show in Pittsburgh. I can honestly tell you that I have never seen such a collection of green workers in my life. A lot of the people around me were completely pissed. Since we were paying full fWo house show ticket prices and were given the show we were given, you can forget about people paying again. This was an insult to the fans who have paid attention to the fWo all these years.

Sam Smooth came out for a promo and was pretty much booed out of the building. He gave some shit about this being the new fWo, and that the fWo would be crowning new champions next week. I for one would pay big money to see Ross and Kelly return and beat the living shit out of this jobber to the stars. His speech came off like we were a bunch of marks.

(1) Jordan Cable d. Kinkaid. Kinkaid was announced to be Mexcian but was paler than me. Kinkaid missed all kinds of spots and Cable basically had to save the match on several occasions. I guess Cable is the better wrestler out of the two but had to keep posing for the crowd which looked forced and silly. Cable won when he used his feet on the ropes to make the pin following a sloppy as hell looking sidewalk slam. The referee was looking right at the feet on the ropes but called the pin anyway. The crowd groaned hard.

(2) Renshaw d. Calm (?) They announced Calm as being the "real Alaskan Juggernaut" which got lots of chants of "KVC" from the crowd. You have to figure that the hackings on the fWo site are by some Creed fan. Anyway, Calm looked roided out of his mind, but still smaller than Creed and with a stupid baby face. This was pretty dull with long stretches of rest holds and nothing more. The end never really came as Renshaw put Calm into the turnbuckles, then Renshaw seemed to go down holding his ankle and the referee called the match as a pinfall victory for Renshaw. WTF? People helped Renshaw to the back.

(3) Captain Red d. Oktober in a squash. Nothing really to say here other than Oktober was given no offense.

(4) Sam Smooth d. Spyder. I was a big fan on Spyder in the indies, which made it really frustrating that they put Smooth over him. The fans wanted to get behind Spyder, but he was given no real offense and as soon as he started to get the crowd behind him Smooth would come in and squash him for several minutes. Very disapointing. End came when Spyder basically lay down for Smooth who was blown up and sucking wind bad. Smooth is out of shape and UGLY in the ring. Spyder needs to go back to EMIL or Mexico leagues.

Some guy came out to urge people to buy fWo stuff. Yeah, good luck there.

(5) ??? d. Paladin & Reborn. I went to the bathroom and missed most of this match. Reborn turned on Paladin or something. The team that won looked like a bunch of ugly kids from backyard wrestling feds.

Old man Silver Fox came to the ring for an announcement. Most of the crowd had left by this point. He announced that the fWo had signed Borst! Huge news if it is true, but I worry it is a midget in a Borst outfit after the "action" we saw tonight.

(6) Slider d. Cali & Marmot in a triple threat match to determine a contender to the Cruiserweight title. Who is the other contender? Nobody knows. This was supposed to be a big high flyer match, but it turned out to be one huge sloppy spot-fest. Ugly, and I guess Cali looked like the most talented. By and large, this was a mess and nowhere near the quality of ROH matches I've seen lately. Slider looks like someone who belongs on the indy circuit doing trash clean up.

Aside from a couple people, nobody knew who any of these people are. With the rumors on the internet that the fWo roster walked to unionize, and the other rumors that they were basically forced out because of some money-hungry board, the one thing for certain is that this is the last show I'm going to.

WWN X-Treme Preview!
Posted by Geri Barberie
on August 1 at 5:57 PM

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the new WWN X-Files!

For those of you who aren't familiar with me, I am Geri Barberie, announcer and rumormill queen of XWF. Thanks to the hard work of Xandor Alvarez's legal team, he secured sole possesion of CWWF to go along with his XWF and finally formed the wrestling network inspired by Alan Thompson. Alan is still co-owner of WWN, but the network will be run by Xandor in Alan's absence.

For you nimrods who haven't noticed the TV commericals, WWN has signed its first card called X-Treme! Holding the name of XWF's premier show, X-Treme will come live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. I just love LA! You can be sure celebrities will be on hand as WWN takes off. Rumors have it that WWN is working on getting sex symbol and singing sensation, Britney Spears, to sing the National Anthem. Personally, I could do a better job than that tramp, but I don't want to cause trouble right away on my first night as WWN announcer. On to the matches for the night!

In the main event, a first in our era of pro wrestling, the CWWF World Champion, Darren Stone, will face XWF's newly crowned World Champion, The Jobber. It sucks that no title will be on the line, but this should be a preview of the future when WWN crowns Unidisputed Champions.

In the featured match, Haven will defend his XWF Challenger title against the dangerous man called Deranged. Will Haven be able to leave LA with the Challenger belt?

Also on the card, the XWF Ladies Championship wiil be on the line in the Ladies Division's first triple threat match. XWF Ladies Champion, Tiffany will defend against the newcomer, Lady Cryptonite, and the always lethal, Helena Night. Will Vulture play a factor in this match? Who gives a rat's a$$!

Other matches are scheduled as well like Jared Justice and "The Future" Brett Irvine meet the Backseat Boyz. Jon Savage, Static, and Kevin Gordon meet in a triple threat match that might have a stipulation added to it. I hope the ho, Yasmeen, is there because I want to reall beat the...oh sorry...lost myself for a second. The CWWF Texas Tag Champions, Volma and Antares, meet CWWF TV Champion, Goliath, and CWWF Texas Champion, Hacker.

There are a lot of rumors flying around X-Treme. I heard eWu World Champion, Shawn Hart, will be on hand and making a HUGE announcement. The second Commissioner will also be at X-Treme. Who is he? No one is saying a damn thing! I hear the names, Suicide, the old WIW veteran Monastic, even the return of one of the Thompsons, being thrown around. These names are also being thrown around for the WWN Presidency. Xandor has promised that the President will be a man who personifies the X! Beats me who it could be!

The last rumor I have for you today is the signing of a major star to a WWN contract. The star? I don't know. He is a former World Champion from what I have heard. Will he be at X-Treme? I hope so! I love surprises!

Anyway, that's it from the X-Files! Check your local listings for WWN X-Treme brought to you by the X Wrestling Federation!

PTW: Fury, Hirings, Battle Royal More!
Posted by Ethan Powers
on July 31 at 12:43 PM

Recently on Monday, Pure Talent Wrestling had it's first event since they closed about one year ago. The event was a success, and the fans and critics seemed to really enjoy it. Next week is an even bigger show with the battle royal taking place at the Gund Arena in Cleveland Ohio. Who will win, and will they be the one to beat Alias for the World Title? Tune in next week on Fury to find that out.

In other news, Kellen Beach was hired by Pure Talent Wrestling on Sunday Night, and actually appeared on the show on Monday. Slugger flew him into Toronto and got him to appear right at the ending to assist him in some business he had to take care of. Kellen Beach is a former TWW Superstar as well as an aWF and ICW Superstar. Will he make a big impact in PTW or not?

Also witht he new hiring this opens up two more spots on the roster in PTW, unfortunetly these spots are very tricky to get in. You can try your luck by getting noticed or even putting an application in, and if we notice your application than you hear a reply. Well regardless even if you do send one in, you will hear a reply as well.

Further news pertaining to this Battle Royal, it seems the competitors will not be announced until next week. What type of battle royal will it be? Everyone starts in the ring? Timed? And who is involved, everyone right now is trying to find out and make some decisions here. next week will definately be a big day in PTW history.

GXW: Prelude to Onslaught
Posted by Joey Tyler
on July 28 at 3:14 PM

Global Warfare might be just a distant memory right now, but that doesn’t mean that the GXW machine quits. Continuing on in their rich history the GXW presents Revolution and a BRAND new show … Onslaught!

Appearing on the first ever Onslaught will be many new superstars who recently signed with GXW. Two of which are Chris Carlson and ‘D-Money’ Devon Jackson. Although Carlson might be new to the wrestling scene it is known that Devon Jackson is not. The man from SCW is ready to go and to show the world that he is ‘Everything’ he says to be. Can The High Rollaz representative continue on his winning ways in GXW or will the newcomer stop him in his tracks!

Not exactly newcomers, but these two will be making a statement at Onslaught as 'The Shockmaster' Jacob Sikes takes on Jimi Sinister. Formally of The Mavericks under the name of Storm, Sikes was about to break into GXW stardom, but his partner at the time Blade, Matt Hunter, decided otherwise and left his partner high and dry. Now Sikes is on the comeback trail and is ready to redeem himself, but that depends of Jimi Sinister will let him. Formally in a tag team with his friend Ozzy, Sinister left the federation after a good run and was enjoy the Indy circuit, but his friend Hellfighter brought him back into the GXW and Sinsiter is more than ready to show GXW how to head bang and rock this joint!

In another double debut match is Marcus Wood, another member from The High Rollaz in SCW, taking on newcomer 'Mr. Irresistible' Johnny Styles. Although Wood is known in the wrestling world, it is Styles that has been getting the attention as of late. Many have predicted that Styles will walk away with a huge win at Onslaught, but never underestimate the power of Wood because he is one of the sneakiest craftsmen of the wrestling game!

The Monsta Boyz will also be in action as well and they’ll be facing the brand new team to GXW known as The Unholy Alliance. Buff and Fat have already made a name for themselves, but now they are the hunted as Never Christ and Crimson Saint are more than ready to make a name for themselves. Will Buff and Fat continue their party ways or will The Unholy Alliance put a stop to it once and for all.

Another newcomer match is actually one of veterans as John J. Battles, SCW and WWL fame, takes on Boogie Smallz of CSWA fame! On one side you have Battles who is always for what is right. Never one to break a law, but rather defend it, Battles is always concerned doing what is right by any way possible, but his opponent is another story. Boggie Smallz, on the other hand, is notorious for breaking the law. If he isn’t lighting up something other than cigarettes at a show then he is pawning tag team titles at pawnshops! This one is truly Bad versus Good!

In another encounter it is the renegade Hellfighter taking on Tommy 18. Recently we have seen a 180-degree turn from Hellfighter ever since his matches with Zero and Dan Ryan. More notably his match with Zero at Global Warfare where Hellfighter got screw jobbed out of his match. Now with to many clouded thoughts in his mind, a more determined Hellfighter is ready to make work of whatever crosses his path and this time it is the X-treme fighter Tommy 18. Can Tommy 18 get path Hellfighter’s wrath or will Hellfighter make Tommy 18 feel true pain.

And, in THE MAIN EVENT, it is a reunion of sorts when The Reaver defends his GXW Television title again against Kin Hiroshi! In a return match from Global Warfare, the Powers that Be feel that this match wasn’t settled so they’ve set it up again. Can Hiroshi take advantage of this situation or will Reaver prevail once more.

These matches, as well as several other surprises, are in store for Onslaught so don’cha DARE miss it!

XWF Re-Launch!

*XWF News Flash!*
by Geri Barberie

If you haven't heard already, XWF will be relaunching! After a long hiatus, Xandor has returned to full capacity in the absence of Alan Thompson. The biggest news around XWF HQ is the creation of XWF Creative Team and the addition of the two Commissioners. Though the identities of the commissioners have been withheld, I can report from a reliable source that they are two of wrestling's best. Xandor is not sparing anything in this relaunching. He has also extended offers to the wrestlers of the now defunct Cyber Pro Wrestling (CPW.) There are even rumors going around that he is negotiating to also assume to full capacity in the ownership of World Wrestling Network. If successful, Xandor will also run CWWF. In controlling WWN, Xandor could just become the biggest promoter in our industry. Visit XWF at FW Central for more details. The X is returning to professional wrestling!

The latest WIW happenings
Posted by Peter Castle
on July 22 at 3:24 AM

In a bizarre turn of events, a wrestler that dresses in all black with a simple black mask, who briefly made an appearance on Chaos has made his presence known on Showdown. This masked wrestler who calls himself The Unknown injured Zero and prevented Zero from wrestling on Chaos. On Chaos he stole Jason Chae's car to open the event, attacked wrestlers such as The End, e.T.o., Shane Slade and even Jason Chae himself! He played a major role in the outcome of the main event, hitting Slade and The End with Erik Erratic's finishing move, The Interaction of the Assassin. That allowed Slade to pick up the victory over The End. The only thing we do know about him is that he is indeed one of the wrestlers on the active roster. Erik Erratic has denied being The Unknown and has gone on to say he will put up the WIW World Title on the line against The Unknown in next week's Showdown.

Jon E. Mazing's body which was in a state of a coma due to his car accident, was taken from the hospital... who would commit such an odd action? And why?

Rumors are saying that both The End and Shane Slade will get World Title shots at Last Man Standing.

The field of eight has been for the Last Man Standing tournament. The eight wrestlers with the chance to win a WIW World Title shot at the next Pay Per View are Trauma, Crazy Cooper, Dru Jacobs, Da D'Mon, Larry Stone, Chris Storm, The Constable, and J Woods. Although Crazy Cooper and Dru Jacobs haven't been heard from in some time, and Jason Chae has said he won't hesitate to put other talent into the tournament like Shorty the Pimp or Golden Hammer.

Larry Stone beat Ripcord for his United States Title when Larry asked Ripcord to put his title on the line in their match. In a surprise move, Ripcord agreed and Larry Stone ended up winning to become a double champion.

GXW: Global Warfare Post Report
Posted by Joey Tyler
on July 21 at 7:44 AM

In what proved to be one of the most exciting Pay Per View ever for GXW, Global Warfare, proved beyond a shadow of a doubt why they are the PREMIER league in wrestling today!

During the Inferno and Eric Davis Last Man Standing match the action, not only spilled out of the ring, but out of the building as well! From wood to steel to anything available it was Eric Davis standing tall, as Inferno couldn’t survive a fall from above to pallets down below. Although it was Alex Young who officially won the match, it was Eric Davis’s hand that was raised. Will a doctor ever heal the split personality of Eric Davis/Alex Young? Or will it be healed by another cruiser who is waiting in the wings by the name of Jeffery Roberts who ‘congratulated’ him by introducing him to the wall again and again!

Although Cole Steele was supposed to meet Gemini at Global Warfare it never went down due to Gemini contract negations with GXW. So, without a match, Cole Steele called out Troy Douglas at Global Warfare. A seal was put on the deal when Steele found Douglas backstage and attacked him with everything to include a bowl of fruit!

Tonight was not the night for Troy Douglas as he felt more than one attack that night. During his match with KK Hollywood, both men were attacked when a rogue group from CSWA, ‘The Truth’ Tommy Rage, Ricky Grant, Tommy Hotbody, and TOKEN, interfered in the match and let their attentions be known to the crowd that they are in GXW for one reason and one reason only … to put life in the federation and to take over!

In the number one contenders match for the GXW Unified Tag Team Titles it was True Living Colors, the former champions, taking on the multi-talented and always destructive The Night Cripplers. From the ringing of the bell to the tapping of three this was an all out WAR, but in the end it was Chris Titan and Scott Hunter’s hands raised as The Night Cripplers took the match and solidified a match against whoever would be the champions later that night. Their celebration was short lived when long time rivals, The Motor City Maniacs, attacked them backstage reintroducing them to their version of violence!

What was supposed to be a match for respect it might been Miso that got the respect of the male fans when she dropped the match to GXW Women’s Champion Trynyty Wang, but that wasn’t the ONLY thing she dropped as she lost her top as well and show the crowd what South Korean women REALLY look like! After the match though things changed as Jennifer Rowe came in and cleaned house standing tall in the center of the ring making sure Wang knew whom her next opponent would be!

In the battle to settle it all it was Armen and Paul Dumont fighting it out in a no holds barred I quit match! As everyone from the faction, or whoever was in the faction, The Mechanical Animals was looking on either in the back or ringside, both men took it to eachother wanting to prove who was the better. And, basically finishing the career of Armen, it was Dumont who NAILED Armen with an elbowdrop from the top of the GXW scaffold winning the match! Both men were seriously injured and it might be a long time before we see these two back in a GXW arena.

Gabriel Bane had everything to prove tonight as he faced Tommy 18 again for the GXW X-treme Title. And, in Bane fashion, he took it to Tommy 18 and beat him soundly once again, but Bane never got the chance to celebrate as ‘Good God’ Kevin Powers, remembering the attack from the card prior, returned the favor to Bane with his infamous steel plated baseball bat and sent a message to Victoria McCave. Friends don’t let friends attack Powers otherwise they get made an example of!

In another match, a Table match to be exact, it was two new teams showing off for all the GXW to see. The Monsta Boyz and Horror Business went out with the sole intent to beat the other and to move along in the tag rankings and they did it in destructive fashion! As this one went back and forth and never disappointed the crowd it was Horror Business surviving and raising their hands high winning the match and proving to everyone that Commissioner JP’s boys are for real!

In a special segment ‘The Hero’ Marcus Johnson was interview and he answered questions about Chad Dupree, Dan Ryan, and others, but one question still remained unanswered. Will Johnson return to GXW? Hopefully that one can be answered soon and we can see the former champion back in action!

Up next was, not only the highlight of the night, but also a solid runner for match of the year as John Miller and Eric Edwards faced off in, of all things, an exploding table match! Banned in the US normally, Chad Dupree pulled SEVERAL strings to make sure this once in a lifetime event went down for these two competitors who have been getting the best of eachother for quite awhile. After all the fighting was over and twenty minutes clicked by, the ring exploded and it was Eric Edwards feeling the FULL effect! John Miller might’ve won this match, but he also won the respect of GXW, the fans, and anyone who watched this match!

Another anticipated match saw Co-Owners slugging it out as Erik Zieba and Chad Dupree fighting toe to toe to see who would have complete and utter control of GXW! Although Dupree has had wrestling experience it was Zieba who managed to sneak in a superkick to the jaw knocking down Dupree and insuring the win for Zieba making him the one and only owner of GXW! After the match, the two rivals did the unthinkable and shook hands putting their differences aside. Will there be a reunion or is there something else involved? This one might have to be watched!

After seeing his friends fight it out in the I Quit match, it was Reaver who had to put his GXW Television title on the line as he faced the ever-popular muffin man from the Orient Kin Hiroshi! In a back and forth battle it looked as Hiroshi was about to become the TV champion once again, but Commissioner JP’s, Evan Aho’s former, squeeze Victoria McCave came down to ringside and prove to be the deciding factor in this match as she made sure Hiroshi was off balance and took home the losers purse of the payoff for the night! Why did she attack? Was it because Hiroshi is friends with CSWA Unified World Champion Evan Aho and she used to date him? Or is it something else? Stay tuned for this one!

The Assassins, preparing for their Unified Tag Team Title match, decided to make use of their time and found Mr. Black and Mr. White of True Living Colors and attacked them yet again! How many times can The Assassins send their message to TLC before they return fire? They have always said to be careful what you wish for …

In what has to be the screwjob of the night it was Zero taking on Hellfighter in an ultimate submission match. Back and forth this one went and, at the end of regulation, the score was tied. So, not to have a draw, the ref signaled for the match to continue and the next person to get the submission gets the win. They continued on until the ref was knocked out, but there was no need to quit because Commissioner JP made his way down to ringside and continue the match. Then, as Zero had Hellfighter in Zero Tolerance, JP called for the bell even as Hellfighter continue to say he was NOT ready to give up! Disgusted by what just happened Hellfighter was about to leave the arena, but Zero called him back and held out his hand to let bygones be bygones, but Hellfighter, on one hand, showed him how much he thought Zero was ‘number one’ and stormed off!

As the grudge match between Kevin Powers and Chris Lehew was about to kick off it as Powers who shocked everyone and announced that his match would be a HARDCORE match and he did not disappoint. From hitting Lehew with a kitchen sink and even dressing him up as a hot dog of all things, Powers had most of the control of the night, but he never won the battle. Towards the end Lehew, taking the advantage, managed to schoolboy Powers and took him the much needed win for The Career Ender. This match can only signal that, no longer, will he be singled out as a Nag N’Bitch spokesperson, but Powers managed to have the last word as he planted Lehew in the center of the ring with Kiss the Canvas ‘congratulating’ him for his win.

In the GXW Unified Tag Team Title match it was The Assassins, who saw action earlier that night, taking on the champs Fast Lane. In another destructive match it was The Assassins who managed to get the first title change of the night and to be crowed the NEW GXW Unified Tag Team Champions!

Then, in the GXW Continental Title match, it was a battle of former friends as the champion Rob Sampson took on his former partner Justin Tyler. To say this one wasn’t vicious would be a flat out lie as both wrestlers brought everything to this match so that they could get the better of the other. With everything said and done the only one to survive this encounter was Justin Tyler and getting him the count out win! Although the title does NOT change hands on a count out, Tyler took home the winning paycheck and a little something more as Sampson managed to get back into the ring and attack his former partner from behind warning him about his future in GXW!

Then, in the MAIN EVENT, two forces that could not be stopped finally met as Dan Ryan, the GXW Unified World Heavyweight Champion, took on Kendall Codine, this year’s 2002 King of the Cage winner. Back and forth this one went and there was several times Codine was within an eyelash of becoming the new champion for the company, but when it was all over it was Dan Ryan who took the win and the title home with him! But, before he could celebrate and the show could fade out for the night, Randy Cobb, Ryan’s long time running partner, came in and showed Ryan how much he appreciated his win by raising his hand … and then nailing him with a clothesline to the ground!

Now with the Road to Fallout in the beginning stages one has to wonder what is to become of GXW. Rumors of a major shake up to a CSWA infiltration … what lies next for Erik Zieba and his promotion? Will he bring back the roots of EWI or will he deal with these new threads in another manner? One thing is for sure and that is to stay tuned to the GXW network!

CSWA: PRIMETIME Airs
Posted by Rudy Seitzer
on July 18 at 1:00 PM

CSWA PRIMETIME in Oklahoma City hit the airwaves and included two match of the year candidates! The card is currently available for rebroadcast online at CSWAwrestling.com.

Here are the recap results for the final card before the CSWA heads to Sweetwater, Texas for FISH FUND XIII.

"Triple X" Sean Stevens got a win by count-out over "Ego Buster" Dan Ryan when the GXW champ took a powder. The two will meet again as part of a four-way for the US Title at FISH FUND.

"The Strongest Arms In The World" took CSWA gold as GUNS easily defeated JJ DeVille for the Greensboro Championship, which he immediately spit on. GUNS still has no respect for the CSWA, but he'll face "Wicked Sight" Michael Plett for the title at FISH FUND.

Tom Adler retained the Presidential Title over Cameron Cruise, but paid the price, as Cruise got in several chairshots after the match. The two will meet again at FISH FUND, along with Lawrence Stanley, in a triple threat match with the Presidential Title on a pole.

The question of the night seemed to be... is Wicked Sight the GXW 'mole' in the CSWA camp? Every time there appeared to be a definitive answer, something happened. A voice came over the loudspeaker assuring us that Sight's CSWA allegiance is a farce, while Plett himself maintained his innocence.

Tension was high as Plett teamed up with Shane Southern and Lawrence Stanley in a three-way match against the Hip Hop Express. The Express's apparent mystery partner, "Apocalypse" Gabriel Poe, ended his association with the team before the match. But during the match...it was Poe who came down and made the difference, winning the match for the team he had apparently forsaken. In the aftermath, Wicked Sight hit Lawrence Stanley with a chair, apparently by accident. But the incident simply added fuel to the fire.

The CSWA World Title was on the line as part of a double main event, with champ Evan Aho defending against "Hot Property" Eddie Mayfield. In a match of the year candidate reviewed at 4 1/2 stars, Evan Aho retained the title over Mayfield in a match that saw Craig Miles, Hornet, and Simply Stunning get involved on the outside.

Evan Aho retained the title, so the one question remained: Who would he face at FISH FUND? Former champs "Hurricane" Eddy Love and "The Living Legend" Mark Windham faced off in a titanic bout, another match of the year candidate. In the end, Mark Windham won by using his brother Troy's (and Love's tag team partner's) Slacknife maneuver, sending him to fight for the World Title in his hometown of Sweetwater, Texas.

FISH FUND XIII is available on most national cable and satellite systems. Contact those providers to get signed up for the biggest night of the year!

GCW: Jingler's CROSSHAIRS
Posted by Steve Jingler
on July 16 at 2:03 PM

Hello Folks. Steve Jingler here with my first installment of GCW CROSSHAIRS. This week, we focus on the so called “returning superstars” and what effect they have, positively or negatively on GCW’s success.

First off, some GCW behind the scenes news.

President Brad Thomas has been ill recently, and has had many other matters outside of Wrestling to tend to. His new baby, The sale of his old house, the potential purchase of his new house, his overbearing work schedule, and his other business ventures have taken a toll on his well-being. Brad Thomas has scaled back his GCW dealings, allowing Neil Parkin, aka “Kasady Smoke” run the operation of Meltdown. Thomas knows Parkin is a fit and able person to run GCW. In my opinion, Parkin has done one hell of a job.

Ryp Fandango and Jeff Headache really are brothers, and most of what you see on TV is true. Although we’ve embellished some on the hatred, Jeff does feel that he has had to live up to Ryp’s accomplishments all his life, and he genuinely wants to shed himself of the stigma that he is Steve Green’s brother, and make a name for himself without his Brother’s help. They don’t hate each other, but the natural riff does exist, which the writers have played upon recently.

The Russian Destruction Machine, Erik Dragonov, was gone for the last month to attend to some family business in Russia. He is back full strength now with GCW.

Logan Daniels was legitimately angry when he had to drop the Global title recently. Daniels feels that he’s put forth the effort to be the Global Champion – but the staff has a different direction for him. Daniels, up to this point, apparently hasn’t gotten what GCW is all about – Good Wrestling. Instead of being a team player, Daniels chose to lash out verbally and publicly, which has caused some of the wrestlers backstage to think of him as a primadonna. Logan Daniels is a valued member of GCW, but don’t think for a minute that the owners won’t cut him loose after another outburst.

RETURNING SUPERSTARS
GCW has seen its share of superstars. Ryp Fandango, Tarran, Chaos, Slade, Buck Unreal, Aaron McFleese, and Drew Phillips to name a few have at one time or another been main eventers in GCW’s history. They’ve left for various reasons over the years, but all of them have a commonality – they’ve all returned to GCW recently.

They’ve returned to mixed results. Some of the younger and newer talent don’t have a frame of reference for these superstars. Although the backstage demeanor has become more professional, a lot of the younger and newer talent feel that they have gotten pushed farther back on the totem poll. I asked President Brad Thomas about this the other day:

Jingler – What do you have to say to the wrestlers that feel this way?

Brad Thomas – I can understand their concern. I would feel the same way as they do, but of course they haven’t been in the meetings with these men, and they don’t know what is planned regarding them. In the cases of Ryp Fandango, Aaron McFleese, Buck Unreal and Drew Phillips, we felt that we needed some star power infused into our roster in order to elevate the next generation of GCW superstars. In essence, we brought them back FOR the younger and newer wrestlers –

But does it hurt that former Champions are returning to GCW TV? Viewership is up, and the professionalism is at an all time high backstage. Despite President Thomas’s statements regarding the situation, some wrestlers still don’t think it’s a good idea. One, is Magnus Lee.

“I don’t see where these wrestlers returning can help business. All you are doing is delaying the development of wrestlers who deserve the spotlight just as much as these returning superstars. I’ve worked hard to be in the main event, and for these guys to return and immediately take MY hard earned spot miffs me.” – Magnus Lee (*ooc – I just made this up for the angle)

I don’t think that everyone will ever be on the same page in this respect, but as long as things keep on the up and up, and ratings continue to soar, then you can expect that GCW’s formula for success is working the way it was designed.

That’s about all for this week, thanks for reading!

Steve Jingler

eWu PPV, Whiskey War Recap
Posted by Slappy McGannon
on July 15 at 11:57 AM

The extreme Wrestling union, eWu, made it's grand return to PPV with Whiskey War 2K2 from the IMA Arena in Flint, Michigan!

The opening bout, an unscheduled Grudge match between two Managers .. Saw Jerry the Tard hit the Jerry-Hatrick on Bango the Clown in what turned out to be a real Puker!

Next, "The Inevitable" Paul Paragon & "The Almighty" Kevin Race went into battle against The Hardcore Heavenly! Unfortunately for Paragon & Race ... They were both Purified by Jacob & Bryan, as they continue their quest to rid the eWu of it's "Demons"!

JC & Bob .. otherwise known as Jesus & Mad Caddy fought The Advocates, Volma & Antares in a Tag Team Dumpster Match. It turned into something resembling a Tag Team war as JC & Bob Won that match. The 2KooLosers, Ice Mitchell & The Loser then attacked JC & Bob and claimed they were the best Team in the eWu! Which brought out the eWu Tag Team Champs, Team Kamikaze 2 .. which laid out Ice & the Loser!

America the Beautiful Vs that country above us, Canada. Dustin Oliver defended our great country against "Simply Canadian" Sammy Mercer by obliterating Mercer with a Volunteer Drop thru a table!

The First EVER IWF World Champion, Xtreme Vs. Former UCC Ultra Title Champion "Mad" Joe Massacre in what has become a Whiskey War Tradition .. A Crock O' Gold Ladder Match! It was downright brutal as Xtreme hit The Xtreme Assault from the top of the ladder Thru a chair. Unable to build enough energy to climb the ladder, Xtreme used the ladder to knock the crock DOWN to him!

The first of three in the Big Triple Main Event was for the eWu Kamikaze Championship where 11 Men ... Volma, Antares, Mad Caddy, Iht, Thirteen, Marshmallow, Dustin Oliver, Judas, Danny Mikkelson, Duncan MacDougal, Mr. Nasty & Ezekiel Pike ... tried to stay alive in a Trailer Trash Battle Royal! To win the belt was simple, be the only man left standing ... and the new eWu Kamikaze champion is "The Punisher" Ezekiel Pike!

Things got deadly when Team Kamikaze 2 defended their eWu Tag Team Championship against xTc & MGD, Mike Gordon in a Scaffold Match. Mike Gordon was left Bloodied BUT still able to leave the arena on his own two feet. The EMTs had to wheel his partner, xTc out and get him to the hospital as he was suplexed from the TOP of the scaffold and THRU the announce table and one of the announcers by "The Lethal Lunatic" Lars Lemeiux. Doctors say that if it were not for Announcer George Lucas, jr. breaking the fall of xTc, he could very well have suffered serious injuries but xTc will be cleared by Air Raid. In a side note, George Lucas, jr. was also taken to the hospital and was announced to have a broken arm.

The last match of the evening was a Bullrope match for the eWu Heavyweight Championship between Champion, "The Phenom" Shawn Hart and "The Living Legend" Dusty Thompson! Both men and the ref were bloody. Dusty hit The Texas Death Drop on Shawn Hart and proceeded to hog tie him. Dusty may have won this match if not for the interference of "The Man of War" Alexander Jerusalem. Shawn eventually got Dusty to admit the Truth when Dusty tapped out to Hart's finisher. Shawn Hart barely escapes with his title .. but Why did Jerusalem help him? Hopefully all will be revealed on eWu Air Raid right here on FW Central!

TSW's New Recap Show, "Evolution"
Posted by Ryan Kila
on July 14 at 7:36 PM

-San Diego, California. Total Showtime Wrestling HQ. 4:30 PM PST.

Today, at three o'clock PM, Pacific Standard Time, Jason Showtime had a meeting with Wrestler RaZeR. The meeting had gone on for one hour and thirty minutes and this is what there is to report. TSW has signed wrestler RaZeR to, not wrestle, but to host a recap show, called "Evolution". This show will air on Sunday's but no further details were giving. This is what RaZeR had to say:

-This is certinly good news to me since I get to take time off of wrestling and I will get to rest my open wounds and regather myself. I will also be interviewing wrestlers monthly for a segment on the show. I have a feeling this will be a kick ass job since I will get to talk about people getting killed in the ring instead of being that person.

He seemed pretty glad about the contract and that he was finally getting some time off being in the ring.

GXW: Prelude to Global Warfare
Posted by Joey Tyler
on July 14 at 4:45 PM

It's been one in the making, but GXW's Pay Per View Global Warfare promises to be packed non-stop from beginning to end!

Two names, since Genesis III, have done their best to prove themselves in GXW and that has been KK Hollywood and Troy Douglas. Going as far as to make impressive showings in the GXW Television Title tournament, both competitors are ready to take that next step, but in order to do that they must survive this match!

Another match will have The Night Cripplers taking on former GXW Unified Tag Team Champions True Living Colors. When The Night Cripplers were first in GXW (once known as EWI) they caused total havoc in the league. Much can be said of them when they were in the NthWA (the other federation that formed with EWI to create GXW), but since returning they have tried their best to inch their way to the Tag Team titles. In order to secure their shot they must get past True Living Colors who haven't found their reclaim to fame easy. This will truly be a battle to watch.

'Career Ender' Chris Lehew has proven himself to be a champion among champions by defeating former champions, but now he'll get his toughest test when he steps into the ring with former GXW Unified World Champion 'Good God' Kevin Powers. Powers has said to not believe the sincere Lehew that everyone sees, but to understand that Lehew has earned his Nag N'Bitch moniker. Can Lehew prove that he is as good as he says or is Powers right in saying that Lehew is nothing more than a Nagging little ... well you know.

How can issues between John Miller and 'Executive' Eric Edwards from Takeover Inc. be resolved? Simply put ... Exploding Ring Match! In the past these two superstars have gone toe to toe in the ring, out of the ring, and in the ring during other people's matches. Therefore, and on a rare moment, the Co-Owners Dupree and Zieba agreed on this match. Who will win? Better yet ... who will survive!

Once they were members of the same stable. Once they were friends. Once ... was such a long time ago. These days, if you are talking about ExE and Paul Dumont, the only thing they care about is killing the other! The lines of The Mechanical Animals have been split down the middle and the leaders of the two factions will face off in a First Blood match to see who will have the final say over the other.

When they first entered into GXW, The Monsta Boyz wanted to be noticed and they got their wish, but in a way they probably never wanted. At the same time Commissioner JP introduced his version of terror in the form of Horror Business, but they’ve now come across a barrier in which they must get past if they ever want to continue their dominance. Monsta Boyz and Horror Business. This one has all the makings of macabre mayhem!

Zero and Hellfighter. Two names you never want to see in the same sentence. Better yet two people you don’t want to see in the same room. If you do then it is expected that the entire room will be demolished cause there is nothing less but pure hatred between the two. From Hellfighter attacking Zero in the ring costing him a title to Zero attacking Hellfighter in the back costing Hellfighter a title … it was only a matter of time before a Ultimate Submission Holds match would be enforced. After this encounter, only one can be considered the better than the other.

When ‘The Dark Lotus’ Miso attacked Wang and stripped her of her honor, as well as her clothes, she wanted to express herself, but when Wang returned the favor that is where the trouble TRULY started. Now, not only is their respective honor on the line, but also so is the GXW Ladies Title! Wang versus Miso. China versus South Korea. Could this be the final chapter in this epic war?

Inferno has held it before and he is going for broke as he challenges Eric ‘The Dragon’ Davis for the GXW Cruiserweight Title, but one question does remain. Will Inferno be facing Davis or his alter ego Alex Young? Davis hasn’t been in the right frame of mind as of late and who is to say this match might not turn into a ‘triple threat’? One thing is for sure. The one who can stand tall after this Last Man Standing match will be declared the NEW GXW Cruiserweight Champion!

Some called it a travesty of justice when GXW Co-Owner Chad Dupree screwed Kendall Codine out of the X-treme Title and awarded it to ‘The American Nightmare’ Gabriel Bane, but since then Bane has proven himself to be a worthy champion. Tommy 18, on the other hand, has withstood all the odds and has countered everything Bane has threw at him, but now Tommy 18 must go for broke when they fight once more for the X-treme title!

The Reaver. His association with The Mechanical Animals can be traced back to the beginnings of the group. The Reaver. He’s fought a long and enduring battle with his former group to include his own son Devon Slayton. The Reaver … defied all the odds and became the GXW Television Champion in a fantastic finish during the TV finals. Now he has to face his toughest challenge to date when he goes one on one with former champion Kin Hiroshi. The Muffin Man is looking to capture the title as well as respect he richly deserves.

When JT Savage came back to the federation he went back to his old name of Justin Tyler and quickly targeted ‘Mr. Main Event’ Rob Sampson because there are wounds in their past that hasn’t healed. How ironic that they meet under these circumstances because Sampson is the GXW Continental Champion and taking the title from Sampson would be the perfect revenge for Tyler.

The GXW World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as Fast Lane takes on The Assassins. With Takeover Enterprises on a roll, Fast Lane would enjoy nothing more than to retain the belts and beat down The Assassins in the process, but The Assassins traveled a tough road getting past Mason and Tate as well as TLC. Can their momentum carry them to tag team gold?

As if power struggles couldn’t get more aggressive … the once unthinkable match has finally been signed. On one side you have GXW Co-Owner Chad Dupree. The former owner of NthWA feels that, in the absence of the OTHER Co-Owner, not only should he get all the credit for keeping the league alive, but he should also have complete and total control. On the other hand you have GXW Co-Owner Erik Zieba. The former owner of EWI has battled takeovers before if anyone remembers Marcus Gottfried and the SSN move. Zieba stopped them before, but never before has he had a challenge like this. Dupree and Zieba will fight it out and, after the dust settles, only one will stand tall and have 100 percent of the company in his pocketbook!

And, finally, in THE MAIN EVENT, it is the battle that will be talked about for a long time, as GXW Unified World Heavyweight Champion ‘The Ego Buster’ Dan Ryan will face GXW’s King of the Cage Kendall ‘The Blade’ Codine in a contest that has been brewing for a LONG time. Codine has been ambushed by Ryan and been run over by Zero, but Codine continues to get up and punish those who step in his path. Can Dan Ryan retain the title and continue his bad mouth of all his challengers or will Codine finally be the one to shut him up and take his title?

These matches, plus a few other surprises, are in store for Global Warfare so don’cha DARE miss it!

It's the final CSWA show before FISH FUND XIII, and it's packed!

Former CSWA champions "Hurricane" Eddy Love and "The Living Legend" Mark Windham face off one-on-one for the first time since 1998. On the line is the spot as the challenger for the CSWA World Championship at FISH FUND.

The CSWA World Championship is on the line as well. Can current champion Evan Aho make it to FF13 as the champion, or will he be knocked off by "Hot Property" Eddie Mayfield?

In a six-man match, the 'young guns' take on former Unified Tag Champs. "Wicked Sight" Michael Plett, Shane Southern, and former US Champ "The English Gent" Lawrence Stanley face off against the Hip Hop Express along with a mystery partner in a grudge match.

The CSWA Presidential Championship is on the line in a FISH FUND preview, with champion Tom Adler taking on Cameron Cruise to see who will enter a three-way dance at FF13 with the title around his waist.

In what could prove to be one of the most lopsided championship matches in history, the man who the Greensboro Championship in the courtroom rather than the ring, JJ DeVille defends the title against former CSWA World Champion and the man with the "Strongest Arms In The World," GUNS.

Two men that will meet as part of a four-way match at FISH FUND for the United States Championship, get to feel each other out in advance. Former Presidential Champ "Triple X" Sean Stevens goes toe-to-toe with GXW World Champion "The Ego Buster" Dan Ryan.

CSWA: ON TIME Results
Posted by Rudy Seitzer
on July 7 at 2:42 AM

CSWA: ON TIME aired on NCN from Kansas City, featuring two championship matches.

Kicking off the card, CSWA World Champion Evan Aho retained his title easily, defeating the freakish Michael Jackson-wannabe, Shamon.

The Hip Hop Express and the Men of Adventure ended up brawling out of the ring, leading to a double count-out, and apparently a Top Contenders match at FISH FUND XIII.

"Good God" Kevin Powers returned to wrestling action following his supposed 'retirement,' by defeating "Pitbull" Pete Hardy.

GXW World Champion Dan Ryan entered a CSWA ring, while avoiding the backstage area. He defeated Carl Brigsby, who had to be removed from the ring on a stretcher. Earlier in the night, an interview from Ryan aired as Hornet exited the arena.

"Big Time" Michael Gettis, the Greensboro native, returned to the CSWA, defeating former ABWA World Champ Henderson Bramble.

"Wicked Sight" Michael Plett lost in an upset to Lance Leizure when he was once again distracted by theme music playing during the match.

Former US Champ Lawrence Stanley lost out to former CSWA World Champion GUNS in a battle of top contenders.

Returning former CSWA World Champ Steve Radder was able to fend off Cameron Cruise, even while suffering from ring rust.

In the Main Event, Hornet retained his United States Title against Shane Southern, in a match that saw Wicked Sight try and prove his CSWA roots, while GXW's Dan Ryan tried to get involved as well.

fWo Gone?
Posted by FWrestling.com Reporter
on July 2 at 4:15 PM

By Tuesday morning, rumor had begun to spread regarding the possible closing of one of wrestling's premiere leagues, the fWo. The Fans' Wrestling Organization has been open since 1998 and produced such stars as Brand Frontier, Vic Creed and others.

There has been little speculation over the reasons for the closing. fWo certainly does not appear in financial trouble, although the terms of their recent contract TV contract with USA Network are unknown.

As of press time, we have received no response to our repeated calls for confirmation to the fWo offices.

[PTW] Finally some movement!
Posted by Ethan Powers
on June 29 at 12:45 AM

This morning some interesting news finally came into the hands of one of the finest reporters in e-wrestling today! Pure Talent Wrestling has finally finalized the roster for the opening, the only thing is PTW is currently at 11 members only. For a detailed update, please visit the PTW website for more.

As far as aligations towards a first event being released I am told not to say anything by my superior, but I refuse to remain quiet on this matter...the website should be up in a matter of a day or two, so after this, a card will be posted and you will see the members of PTW getting together and performing like hell. As far as the website issue I am told that it will be posted, but it's not completely done, there is alot of work going into the website to make it unlike no other, and of course it has to be fully operational so the fans can enjoy just as much as the wrestlers do.

If I do hear anymore news, fwrestling.com will be the first hear of it.

The CSWA heads to the Midwest this weekend with CSWA: ON TIME in Kansas City. The card features several high-profile lineups, including Hornet defending the United States Championship against Shane Southern.

GUNS and Lawrence Stanley go head-to-head for the first time, as do Wicked Sight and Lance Liezure.

Evan Aho defends the World Title against the man who apparently wants to be Michael Jackson's retarded clone, Shamon.

"Good God" Kevin Powers returns to action in the ring against CSWA newcomer Pete Hardy.

Former CSWA World Champion "Iceman" Steve Radder also returns to action meeting Cameron Cruise in the ring.

The Men of Adventure and Hip Hop Express fight for the right to try and become top contenders in the CSWA tag team division.

Plus: GXW World Champion Dan Ryan enters a CSWA ring, 'Big Time' Michael Gettis returns, and "Hurricane" Eddy Love has a response to Kevin Powers' latest.

CSWA: Aho, Hornet Retain
Posted by Bill Buckley
on June 27 at 1:59 AM

CSWA UPDATE with Bill Buckley
featuring a Post-PRIMETIME report

CSWA PRIMETIME in Seattle aired this week, featuring two huge matches on top. CSWA World Champion Evan Aho fended off a huge challenge from former Greensboro Champ and current NFW World Champion Shane Southern.

United States Champ Hornet defended his title against former Presidential Champion Wicked Sight. Hornet capitalized on an apparent technical flub that caused entrance music to play during the match. Sight thought his latest nemesis GUNS was coming to ringside. As of yet, we're not aware whether the flub was just that, or if it was intended by GUNS.

Also on the card, two matches featured former CSWA World Champions colliding, with Eli Flair defeating GUNS in one, while Eddy Love defeated Joey Melton in the other. This was the first time Flair and GUNS had met in over four years.

Unified Tag Team Champions Simply Stunning retained their titles by disqualification when the Hip Hop Express got an assist from former CWL standout Apocalypse. The Express and Apoc have worked together before, but this time, some tension seemed to arise after Apoc was done.

The Men of Adventure continued to make a play for top contenders status in the tag team division by defeating Raw Deal.

Lawrence Stanley and Kin Hiroshi both put a mark in the 'W' column by defeating developmental talent Josh Novell and Suicide, respectively.

World Internet...What?
Posted by Leslie Hughes
on June 25 at 6:02 PM

CHICAGO- Early this morning Jason Chae awoke with a smile on his face. For his small organization, World Internet Wrestling is beginning to grow at a rapid pace.

For three years this small federation with a 53 man roster has been running in the independent regions of the midwest. That is soon to change. Today the federation signed a promotional deal with fwrestling.com. Jason Chae appointed his new right hand man this morning at a press conference.

Quote. "I think that there are only a few men you would think I would select. Many thought former vice president Michael J, or maybe Chris Adams or Chris Hoffman. No, none of them. There is one man that I can trust. A man that has proven himself inside the ring to be an amazing wrestler and outisde the ring as an amazing business man. He is the Legionnare Of Xtreme, or more simply known as Lox" End quote.

It has bee rumoured that Sam Sykes, the owner of rival XWO has also struck a deal and also it has leaked that Jason Chae has built a huge developmental center for wrestlers.

More to come.

WWL's CONFLICT pay-per-view!
Posted by Darren Rogers
on June 12 at 3:47 PM

((FADETO: Darren Rogers standing in front of a World Wrestling League backdrop. He is holding a microphone and some index cards.))

ROGERS: "Welcome everyone, I am WWL Correspondent Darren Rogers here with the wrap up from the World Wrestling League's last pay-per-view, WWL CONFLICT! And what a pay-per-view it was! Before the pay-per-view was the Conflict PRE-SHOW. Brought to you by myself and Amy Donelson, the WWL gave you interviews from WWL World Champion Jean Rabesque and Trevor Cane. Also on the show was the Troy Martinez match against Chris Matthews in what was a great lead in match for the pay-per-view as Troy Martinez got the win. But what really threw EVERYONE in the WWL and the wrestling world was when WWL President and Owner Andrew Medina came out at the end of the Conflict pre-show.. and well, lets give you the video tape."

((The camera cuts to the end of the WWL Conflict pre-show.))

MEDINA: "Welcome everyone to the Suncoast Dome in St. Petersburg, Florida!"

[i] ((SFX: Fans pop)) [/i]

MEDINA: "This is the World Wrestling League's pay-per-view.. CONFLICT!"

((SFX: Fans pop huge))

MEDINA: "And this is also the last pay-per-view in which I will be the owner and President of the World Wrestling League.."

((Fans go quiet))

MEDINA: "Yes, it's true. I have decided that the World Wrestling League has benefitted as much as it could from my lead. I will still moniter the actions from afar.. but it also gives me great pleasure to announce to you the new owner of the World Wrestling League and the new WWL President..."

((CUEUP: 'Brain Stew' by Green Day.. the lights go down and the crowd starts to give immense heel heat.. 'the Original' Sean Edmunds walks through the curtain in a suit and tie and struts down the isle to the ring. He gets into the ring as Medina holds out his hand.. instead of shaking Medina's hand, Edmunds grabs the microphone out of it and turns his back. The music dies down and the lights go back up.))

EDMUNDS: "The World Wrestling League is about to enter its greatest heights. What more could I do for the WWL if I were it's World Champion? Not NEARLY enough as is needed! So instead of once again solidifying the World Championship strap, I've decided to strengthen the future of the WWL as a whole. (SFX: Fans booing) And I'm sure you are all wondering 'By Golly Jee, 'Original', what are you going to do with the World Tag Team straps? What are you going to do with your World Title shot?' Well I'll tell you. First of all. Screw the World Title shot. I don't want it. (Crowd pops and Edmunds just looks around sort of surprised) In fact.. as my first duty as WWL President.. I hereby declare that there will still be a World title shot on the next Salvation. But I'm not about to say who is getting it. That can come later. And as for the Tag Team titles? I don't think I want to defend them tonight. In fact, I don't think I ever want to defend them AGAIN. (Crowd pops as Edmunds eyes become narrow) And since we're on the subject.. I vacate my half of the World Tag Team championship.. and I hereby STRIP Mindriot of his half! (Crowd boos) And as far CCI? (Edmunds makes a cutting motion with his hand over his throat) THEY'RE GONE! (Crowd boos incessently) So let's clear this up for everyone out there who can't tell the name BUCHANAN from the name GORE.. Since I am giving myself a well deserved night off.. I am changing the Number One Contender's battle royal match into a WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH! Whichever of the four teams wins the match.. gets the WWL World Tag Team titles! (Crowd pops) I'm exhausted.. I've done enough for now.. but there's still the REST of CONFLICT.. the World Wrestling League has met its future.. and by God.. its going to learn from it's past!"

((CUTTO: Back to Darren Rogers))

ROGERS: "So with 'the Original' Sean Edmunds becoming the WWL President and Owner from Andrew Medina, WWL Conflict was ready to go! Now, since Edmunds had vacated his half of the WWL World Tag Team titles and had stripped his tag team partner Mindriot of his, and declared the WWL Number One Contender Battle Royal as a match for the title, the WWL decided to replace that match with the Diablo and Damien Priest as the opening match up. Both men put on a spectacular match as Diablo ended up coming out on top. The second match was for the tag team titles in the Tag Team Battle Royal. the NOW President Sean Edmunds came out and banned and eliminated 2KoolLosers from the battle royal for their lack of participation during the weeks to Conflict. This means that the Tag Team titles came down to The Light Brigade , the Power Brokers , and the team of Bravado and Psycho . After a breathtaking match the winners, and New Tag Team champions were Whitedust and eX , members of the Light Brigade. Afterwards Conflict moved on to the Triple Threat Cruiserweight Title match after weak showings by Allowicious Simmons and JD Badluck , the title was etained by defending champion El Jobbero . The following match between Billy Matthews and Anarky turned out to be a bashing of Anarky between Billy Matthews and Doc Silver . After Matthews won his match the pay-per-view went full speed to the following match of the WWL Television title match in which defending champion Copycat took on challenger 'the Phenom' Shawn Hart . After a wide array of moves, Shawn Hart would eventually come out on top becoming the new Television champion. Unfortunately for Hart however was the fact that Copycat's manager/valet Icekold hopped on top of Hart and gave him a smooch with her, well, masculine lips."

((The camera cuts to the video footage.))

((Crowd cheers as IceKold gets into the ring))

GONZAGO: "Uh oh! Now IceKold has gotten into the ring. DIOS MIO, DAVE.. she still hasn't put back on that robe. I think I am going to be sick. She walks in front of 'the PHENOM' and Shawn Hart has let go of the hold and is now blocking his eyes!"

EDWARDS: "I'm afraid the Television title curse has struck again! Now Shawn Hart is BLIND!"

GONZAGO: "Copycat now getting up.. he sees HART over in the corner covering his eyes.. and he kicks him in the stomach! LITTERBOMB by COPYCAT!! And now he's pointing at ICEKOLD!"

EDWARDS: "OH GOD NO!"

GONZAGO: "ICEKOLD IS STRATTLING SHAWN HART!! She looks around at the fans here in the Suncoast DOME.. (Crowd erupts) And now the crowd erupts as ICEKOLD PLANTS A SLOPPY, TONGUE-FILLED KISS ON SHAWN HART!"

((Dave Edwards starts to dry heeve.))

((The camera cuts to Darren Rogers.))

ROGERS: (shakes his head) "Following that (pauses) display, uh, the Women's Four Way Title match took place. Lindsay Troy would try to defend her title against three other competitors. In the end, after Miss Karla was knocked out and Troy was to the outside, Lasera would be the victim as she was pinned giving Lady Cryptonite the victory and the title. The Thirty Minute Iron Man Submissions Only match between Minion and Golem turned out to be one of the best matches of the night as both men put on a spectacle for all the fans of WWL Conflict. The next match between Doc Silver and Larry Tact was the first of three Featured Bouts and had been a great wrestling match before Billy Matthews came down to ringside and gave Silver the same help that Matthews received in his match earlier as they sent Larry Tact to the hospital for a multitude of injuries. The second featured bout was for the WWL Tri-American title and was a Ladder Match . Both competitors gave it all and actually put on an amazing match using the ladder in a bunch of situations, but in the end Darren Stone , after getting his hand stuck in the ladder, allowed defending champion Dizz to go to the top of the ladder, hop over Stone and catch Stone's head on the way down nailing a devastating neckbreaker from off the ladder. Dizz would then go on to get the Tri-American title and win the match. Even though that match was a great match I don't think anyone was ready for the main featured bout between Nevada Smith and Maelstrom What was supposed to be INSIDE the Suncoast Dome in St. Petersburg, Florida, turned out to be a match in the parking lot ! The match was AWE filling as Smith and Maelstrom battled on top of President Edmunds 2003 Lexus , ruining it comletely, brawled inside the Microsoft X-box station that allowed Conflict fans to play tons of X-box games for free, and eventually ended with NEVADA SMITH running over Maelstrom with the Aston-Martin of Shawn Hart!"

((CUTTO: Video footage of the Maelstrom/Smith match.))

GONZAGO: "Maelstrom picks up Nevada Smith again.. but SMITH WORMS OUT OF IT. A running knee sends Maelstrom INTO the side of the X-box se... NO! It SENT MAELSTROM THROUGH! Maelstrom is INSIDE the X-box setup!"

EDWARDS: "There goes MAELSTROM again.. costing the World Wrestling League even MORE money!! He's a hazard, Gonzago."

GONZAGO: "The Microsoft people won't be happy about this one, Dave as Nevada Smith picks up one of the strewn X-boxes, and NAILS MAELSTROM IN THE HEAD WITH IT! Maelstrom is down.. the COVER!! ONE ...... TWO ..... THR... KICKOUT!"

EDWARDS: "It was almost GAME OVER for Maelstrom."

GONZAGO: "That was rankdunkulous, Dave."

EDWARDS: "How many times do I gotta tell ya, Gonzago. That's MY WORD."

GONZAGO: "Now Nevada Smith picks up Maelstrom, and he sends him even DEEPER into the X-box World! They're in the centre now. Maelstrom tries to fight back but is only punching air. Smith sends him to the stairs and THEY ARE GOING TO THE SECOND LEVEL! They are now at the top of the stairs.. Nevada Smith SLAMS Maelstrom's head into the TELEVISION... but Maelstrom with a FIT OF RAGE just NAILED Nevada with a Right hook!! Smith CHARGES Maelstrom... BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX BY MAELSTROM AND NEVADA HAS FALLEN DOWN THE STAIRS!!!"

((The video cuts to the end of the match starting from when Nevada Smith and Maelstrom are nearing the Aston-Martin.))

((Nevada Smith irish whips Maelstrom into the Aston-Martin car door. The force sends Shawn Hart sprawling into the backseat and shuts the door. Hart looks out from the backseat with a frightened look on his face.))

GONZAGO: "And Nevada Smith TOSSING Maelstrom into the Aston-Martin, knocked the living daylights out of Shawn Hart as he looks like a deer in headlights, Dave!"

EDWARDS: "It looks like he just pissed his pants!"

GONZAGO: "Nevada Smith now brings Maelstrom out to the middle of the parking lot again.. and an ATOMIC DROP puts him to the pavement.. NOW what is Nevada Smith doing?! NEVADA SMITH IS IN SHAWN HART's ASTON-MARTIN! DIOS MIO NO! DIOS MIO NO!"

EDWARDS: "Driving Ms. Hart."

GONZAGO: "Try Driving Over MAELSTROM! NEVADA SMITH JUST SPED INTO MAELSTROM AND SENT HIM FLYING OVER THE TOP OF THE CAR!! LOOK AT THE WINDSHIELD!"

EDWARDS: "Look at SHAWN HART!! He's grasping onto the Television title like a WILDMAN!"

GONZAGO: "The WINDSHIELD of Shawn Hart's car has been SHATTERED and Maelstrom is LYING ON THE PAVEMENT and he's NOT MOVING, Dave!"

((CUTTO: Back to Darren Rogers in front of the WWL backdrop.))

ROGERS: "And in the MAIN EVENT of WWL Conflict was the World Title match between the challenger 'MAD' Joe Massacre and the defending champion Jean Rabesque . The match was everything that was expected as Rabesque and Massacre battled tooth and nail. Both men pulled out all the stops as Rabesque dropped Massacre's throat on the guardrail and then countered a Joe Massacre powerbomb on top of the announcer's table and with a northern lights suplex which sent BOTH men through it. However the Power Brokers, Markus Rammstein and El Serpentor came in and kicked Jean Rabesque in the head. Rabesque, however, cleaned the ring and was about to put Joe Massacre away when a PT Cruiser pulled down the rampway. Out of the Cruiser came two men who turned out to be fellow Upstarts members LaJON LENNOX and COREY CRICHTON . As Jean Rabesque bent over to mouth off to the members of the Upstarts, an Asian photographer flashed her camera right in the eyes of Rabesque, not once, but TWICE, and when he turned around Massacre caught him in a small package and STOLE the match. Although Massacre and the Upstarts won the WWL World title, the camera then went outside to where they were supposed to get an update on Maelstrom as the ambulance was supposed to leave. Well, let's show you the footage of the end of Conflict before we come back for the wrap up.."

((CUTTO: End footage of WWL Conflict))

((CUTTO: the parking lot where the ambulance is.. Andrew Medina comes running out of the building and to the ambulance. CUTTO: A different shot of the ambulance. On the ground next to the ambulance is the stretcher and two EMTs laid out. Medina becomes even more worried and looks around. He sees a trail of blood which he quickly follows to a side alley behind the Suncoast Dome.))

EDWARDS: "And Maelstrom isn't there, Gonzago! Has Nevada Smith continued his rampage?"

GONZAGO: "I don't know Dave! Where could he be? And why were the EMTs knocked out on the ground?!"

((As Medina turns the corner he spots a huge man wearing an EMT outfit holding Maelstrom around the neck. Maelstrom who still isn't fully conscious from his earlier beating just looks blankly at Medina, not even realizing whats going on. Medina slowly starts to move towards the man.))

MAN: "Don't even attempt it, Medina. I told you, you would pay."

MEDINA: "Ellis, you don't have to do this ... I swear.. you don't. Just put Maelstrom down and let's talk about this."

ELLIS: "Talk is cheap, Medina. DON'T TRY ANYTHING STUPID.. If you come any closer I'm going to BREAK HIS NECK..."

MEDINA: "Don't act STUPID.. Now I'm going to come and get him. Just calm down. I know what you're capable of. Let's not make an example out of.."

((As Medina is in mid sentence he tries to kick the man in the midsection. The man just laughs.))

ELLIS: "You weak little punk.."

((Ellis kicks Medina in the stomach and throws him into a bunch of trash. He then picks up Maelstrom and plants him onto the cement ground with a devastating move. Maelstrom just lays there and Medina is hurting as he tries to get out of the trash. This man just walks away.))

EDWARDS: "I think we just witnessed the MURDER of Maelstrom.. and the CONCLUSION of the MEDINA-era here in the World Wrestling League."

GONZAGO: "That Ellis... I recognize him from the NYWA.. My GOD.. that's NEMESIS... ELLIS IS NEMESIS!! WHAT IS THE WORLD WRESTLING LEAGUE IN FOR?!"

[i] ((CUTTO: TO Rogers)) [/i]

ROGERS: "Well, WWL Conflict was a raging success .. and with Sean Edmunds announcing that on the next World Wrestling League show, Salvation that the World title shot would be given to NEVADA SMITH, well, it only brings more and more hype to the World Wrestling League.. which is once again experiencing a new beginning. With your WWL Conflict aftershow wrap-up, I am Darren Rogers signing off."

CSWA: Flair Falls
Posted by Bill Buckley
on June 10 at 11:38 PM

As the CSWA marches toward its next pay-per-view event, FISH FUND XIII, it made a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for CSWA SHOWTIME.

The Main Event of the evening featured former CSWA World Champion Eli Flair against former Unified World Champion Mark Windham. Flair's feud with Mark's brother, Troy Windham, is legend, but The Eliminator and The Living Psycho have rarely crossed paths unless forced.

Windham made his return to the CSWA at ANNIVERSARY 2001 as a mystery tag team partner. His first interview after that match, he took Flair to task for his role in the ClaimStakers, as well as his 'extreme' feud with Troy, which resulted in both men being hospitalized. Troy still has not returned to action after the injuries he suffered.

With his age and size advantage, Flair was considered the favorite. Fortunately for Windham, 'favorites' don't often mean much. Windham continued his winning streak by schoolboying Flair.

Also on SHOWTIME: "Triple X" Sean Stevens lost his CSWA Presidential Championship to Tom Adler. Simply Stunning retained the Unified Tag Team Titles against their top competition, The Professionals, as well as the team of CSWA World Champion Evan Aho and Shane Southern. Also in action, Fearless Jones and Paul Walker defeated Kin Hiroshi and Machine.

on June 4 at 8:56 PM

What a Show! People, this is CWWF/XWF reporter Mark Klass on boy oh boy did CWWF ever shock the wrestling World! If you didn't see the wild PPV you will not want to miss the next showing of it! Everybody in Cancun Mexico Open air arena were on their feet for most of the night. Here's a brief recap of what all happened.
CWWF newcomer Volma pulled off a victory over Starchild! Before the match even begain Starchild was aproached by none other then the Backseat Boyz who thought Starchild was Paul Stanley of Kiss! I myself laughed my tail off as Backseat Boyz later came out to show their new Music video, but as it happened the video was doctored by Minor Details and showed the two want-to-be- singers in the shower together! Later Backseat Boyz pulled off a huge surprise by beating the Minors for a shot at the CWW tag titles later on.
In a Hell in the Cell match Goliath and Deranged put on one hell of a show before Goliath was able to take the CWWF TV Title and the victory! Never have I a seen a Hell in the Cell with this much action!
Thumper Thompson, the CWWF President also had a run in with Shawn Hart who showed up inside the ring. Right when it looked like Thumper was going to attacked Hart...Out came Dusty Thompson. Minutes later the first ever CWWF/XWF match was set! Dusty and Thumper agreed to do a PPV called "When Worlds Collide". We will have more information later but now lets more on. Thumper later showed up and to the surprise of the wrestling World Thumper ask Data to marry him. The bigger surprise was Data said YES!!!
Hacker won the Texas Heavyweight Title at Hells Fury against Madd Caddy and Jon Savage. The Great Destroyers won over Ghost Riders and yes its true....The Destroyers returned to CWWF and beat the Advocates of Hell for the Texas tag team titles! The Destroyers are hungry again and looking for their old CWWF tag titles back!
People as if there was not enough surprises here tonight, another one happen in the last match of the evening. Chaos had challenged Darren Stone for a shot at his title on a later card and the two were about to face off when the lights went out. Minutes later,...Former CWWF Legend Scott Riktor, also known as Rage. showed up and both Stone and Chaos was laid out inside the ring. Is Scott back in CWWF? I think we all will soon find out. WWR Announces Chavez vs. Hornet
Posted by WWR Newsbot
on May 30 at 12:43 AM

The WWR's Wresolution supercard solidifies their return on the international scene. WWR Wresolution is available on pay-per-view through OnDemand. Call your local cable provider for availability.

At Main Event, WWR's Mr. Johnson sprang a surprise on CSWA veteran Hornet. Due to a 'deal' between Mr. Johnson and CSWA owner Chad Merritt, Hornet has been ordered to pull double-duty, wrestling in both leagues at the same time. Mr. J offered Hornet one out, however. If Hornet can win the WWR World Heavyweight Championship, he can get his release from the owners' deal.

At Wresolution, Hornet gets a chance to do just that. In Portland, an unexpected altercation between WWR North American Champion Brad Schilling and the CSWA United States Champion looked like it might pave the way for Hornet's first WWR feud. No one guessed that rookie Next would give up his NA Title shot to the veteran. Hornet and Schilling met in Portland, minutes after their verbal confrontation. The match led to a new WWR NA Champ, at least for a few minutes.

The WWR allows its second-tier champion to hold and defend his title, or to relinquish the belt for a WWR World Title shot. Moments after his win, Hornet appears to do just that, handing the title over to the referee.

And it's been confirmed. Superstars collide as WWR World Heavyweight Champion Ray "The Equalizer" Chavez celebrates the one year anniversary of his title reign by stepping in the ring against former Unified World Champion Hornet in a match with more than gold on the line. These two men are fighting for free will.

Aftermath of Stable Warz

The Aftermath of Stable Warz

After one of the most exciting pay-per-views in Global Championship Wrestling many questions are left to be answered. The returns of the Global Championship Wrestling founder, Masked Marauder, and the Champion of the Ages, Drago, the now vacant World Heavyweight Championship, the triple-cage Stable Warz match, the World Tag-Team Championships, among other things will obviously have serious repurcussions on the Sunday Night Rages to come.

Co-President Executioner and his Legion of followers will definitely have a hard time against the pumped-up, fan-loved, New Brotherhood with the Co-President Michael "Meep" Mosall at the helm to reclaim Global Championship Wrestling for the Brotherhood and in the name of the founder Masked Marauder.

The Crow and Strike got screwed out of the World Heavyweight Championship by the Comedian, on a fast count after Strike nailed the Strike Three on Crow and Comedian used his belt to tie Strike in tree of woe position to the turnbuckle so he couldn't break up the count.

Strike and The Crow definitely were not happy about that during the actual Stable Warz match between The Legion (The Crow, Bloodstorm, and Deacon Jenson), the Revolution (Executioner, Biocide, "Legendary" Lance Astoria, and "The Future" Scott Steiner), and the Perfect Season (Strike, Vortex, Alex Knight, and Shadow Stalker). After a sacrifice by Biocide to eliminate his own team, Tiny, Lance's manager, brought Deacon Jenson to the top of the cage, and the Perfect Season eliminated the Legion, saving their jobs and winning the World Tag-Team Championships.

Unfortunately, Executioner fired them all JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT. Michael "Meep" Mosall was shown in the back ejecting a tape, and Meep puts in his own tape, which shows Masked Marauder assigning Michael "Meep" Mosall the level of Co-President of Global Championship Wrestling! Perfect Season walks up the ramp and Michael "Meep" Mosall joins them and REHIRES them, and promotes Alkaline and Chris Chambers from the Minor Leagues to help them out. Executioner promotes some Minor Leaguers of his own and makes the World Heavyweight Championship tournament to decide who will fight at GCW's Biggest Show of the Year, Wrestlebowl.

The business is through and the NEW Brotherhood goes down to attack the NEW Legion, but they are stopped by Tiny who is on top of the first cage. Tiny pulls off his mask to reveal that he is Drago, and he joins the New Brotherhood!

How will the Executioner respond to these actions of the New Brotherhood?

Who will be the World Tag-Team Champions?

When will the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament begin?

These are the questions that will be answered soon, keep in tuned and stay cool.

GCW.CC – We’re Too Big – Need Help
Posted by Brad Thomas
on May 21 at 3:25 PM

Global Championship Wrestling is looking for a few good Staff Members to head up an expansion franchise to operate in symbiosis with GCW. GCW’s popularity has continued to rise, and it’s grown too big to keep it interesting for the people that are a part of it.

Therefore, we’re looking for the following:

Commissioner – Someone to book matches and to head up the weekly writing of the shows. Basically the right hand man of the owners.

Writers – Someone to write one or two matches a week, if we have a couple, it makes it easier on everyone -

Poser artists – the more, the merrier, and btw, if you are good enough, we will PAY $$$ -

Wrestlers – We still need more wrestlers to fill out our second federation -

Also, if there are any federations out there that would like to assimilate with GCW and work with us in this venture, please give us a shout at staff@gcw.cc – We will provide the design and other important amenities.

I can provide details of the gameplan to anyone that is interested. Please, only serious inquiries apply.

Thanks -

GCW UPROAR Vol. 1 Number 1
Posted by Andy Evans
on May 18 at 10:52 AM

UPROAR – PRE PPV – Charlotte, NC. Welcome everyone from the beautiful Charlotte Coliseum, the site of GCW Resurgence. Andrew Evans here, and I’ll be giving you a Pre- PPV run down and random thoughts of GCW lately.

The atmosphere around the Coliseum is tense. Every single person on the GCW pay roll is putting 110% into this production, to prove the critics wrong once and for all. We’re first to admit, GCW hasn’t been as nearly as good as it was its peak during Spring 2001. But, GCW has regrouped with a new staff – Brad Thomas, Jeremy Chaplin, Commissioner Adam Costa, Wayne Ramswell and myself. It’s not a matter of ‘IF’ it’s only a matter of time until GCW recaptures the form it had during Spring 2001.

Sunday’s PPV…

Main Event - Title For Title – Damien Black Vs. Aaron Justice.

On Thursday evening, GCW received word that Damien Black is wanted for questioning by The Las Vegas Police department after turning up to Aaron Justice’s casino and stealing Justice’s Universal title. A lot of heat going into this encounter, its title for title, double gold on is on the line. Who will be a double champion? I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

GCW Tag Titles - RDM & Dirge VS The German Fury & Klaus.

It’s international warfare! We have a Russian, two Germans and one American, someone call NATO because something is going to explode during this match up.

GCW Global Title – Mickey Vs. Venom

Venom’s been quite as of late; does this dark character have something up his sleeve? We know Mickey has Panther in his corner. Is this the deciding factor in this match up for the GCW Global title?

Shadow Vs. X-Calibur

The winner will go onto next week’s Meltdown to face the GCW TV champion. Shadow and X-Calibur see this an opportunity to step up to the next level within GCW. Hopefully both great competitors can raise their game and give us one hell of a match.

GCW Extreme Title - Scholar VS Shotgun Steve Summers

On the last edition of Meltdown, Shotgun Steve Summers won a unification match against Mickey to become the unified GCW Extreme champion. After losing his Universal title, Scholar seeks more gold as he tries to become the GCW Extreme champion. This match right here could be a show stealer.

Baggs Vs. Lasher

A battle between a GCW legend and an GCW newcomer. Baggs has a lot of experience but will Lasher’s rash ways be enough for him to beat Baggs?

Michael Gettis Vs. Sid Griffith

Who will establish themselves as a major player in GCW? Michael Gettis and Sid Griffith have a point to prove to each other and to GCW itself.

Loser Leave GCW - Dan Van Stan Vs. Magnus Lee

It’s a battle for survival. Come tomorrow night either Dan Van Stan or Magnus Lee will have their contract with GCW terminated.

Random Thoughts…

Extreme Evolution – The Russian Destruction Machine and Dirge have been impressive in recent match and also in training. It will be interesting how they will work together as the Russians and the Americans have some past history.

The Scholar seemed disappointed after losing his Universal title on Meltdown last week and demanded a rematch. Scholar has a rare mixture of aggression and class in the ring. It will only be a matter of time until Scholar gets his deserved rematch.

From what I hear, Aaron Justice did an excellent job shooting a few scenes for the new series of The X-files.

Former GCW Universal Champion, Ryp Fandango recently did some voice overs for his appearance on the Simpsons. The episodes featuring Ryp will be out late fall.

Panther has impressed GCW officials with his new improved attitude lately. Hopefully he has priorities sorted out, meaning he’ll go for within the company and get more exposure on TV.

Look for several new faces to debut on GCW TV within the next weeks. It is unsure whether we’ll be promoting people from our development regions in XCW and SWO or signing new people.

Brad Thomas is scheduled to appear on “On The Record” with Bob Costas. Bob’s well-publicized interview with Vince McMahon has been well documented on, so we all know what to expect from Bob Costas when he interviews GCW Co-Owner, Brad Thomas.

This Sunday’s PPV will be one to watch. GCW PPV’s are known to be very controversial, so it’s well worth watching.

See you Sunday, Take Care.

-Andrew Evans.

[PCW] PCW Fires Entire Roster; Holds Open Wrestler Tryouts
Posted by PCW Newblabber
on May 14 at 8:14 AM

Primetime Championship Wrestling long and storied history took a bizarre turn this past Sunday at the promotion's Supremacy Pay Per View, as its former owner, the mysterious Phantom Booker, returned from 16 months of exile from PCW, to serve as an Executive Consultant under his mortal enemy, CEO Tyler Nelson.

While fans rejoiced at the return of the man who built Primetime Championship Wrestling, their joy was short lived, as the Booker blamed sagging ratings on a "fat, lazy, long time stars and ego driven, overpaid, rookies," then proceeded to fire the entire roster, so he and his associates could rebuild the roster "brick by brick" on a case by case basis, even holding open tryouts for indy talent.

Rumor has it that free agent workers from around the globe are flying to PCW Headquarters in Atlantic City, New Jersey to vye for a spot for the PCW roster.

According to PCW officials, tryouts will take place for the next ten days.

Mind Sex #2

Title: Mind Sex
Author: Nayomi Dangsta
Edition: #2
Date: 14th May, 2002

21Wrestling is nearly reaching its peak. The final rise or fall of the honored warriors and heroes begins with one event…

Titania.
Sunday March 26th, 2002.
Las Vegas, Nevada.

The backstage atmosphere is at its highest anticipation, you couldn’t walk down the hallway without hearing a mutter about the event from a staff member or a superst- ar. I’ve talked to many of the stars and staff backstage on what kind of thoughts are they having in their mind about being part of the first ever Titania, about the atmosphere and other things.

Referee Colin Rivera

“Never in my ten years of officiating have I ever felt the raw emotion and heat like now. I mean it’s a month from now but everyone’s really trying harder to make it the best pay-per-view ever. The feuds between the stars are intensifying and the referee’s are having a harder and harder time trying to control the men from killing each other every Uncut. I predict that Titania will be the greatest pay-per-view 21Wrestling will produce at its young age, and more will definitely come.

Biggs Dangsta

“I’m still a rookie. Not just a rookie in 21Wrestling, but a rookie to the wrestling business. It was only last year that I was in an indy fed [PCW]. 21Wrestling’s Titania… [He breaths in and chuckles] I can’t f***ing wait! Never have I ever been so nervous and it’s one month away! I mean there will probably be over ten thousand people there! Titania will be the place where hopes and dreams will come true or be destroyed and being a part of it… will no doubt simply be indescribable.”

Mike Ritz

“Eh, what does Titania mean to me? Jack shit really. It's just another regular old pay-per-view, so I'm not gonna run around pissing my pants over it being the highlight of my life and all that shit, because it won't be. I'll just win like I always do and what'll be so special about that? Not like it's anything new. Come to think of it, the biggest highlight of my life was probably being born. I remember it clearly... I came out of my bitch mom's womb and saw my dad and thought 'Haha! Who's that ugly ass bandit?'... Then he shouted 'son!' And I knew my life was gonna go downhill from there.......... Oh, Titania? Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it, you know? Should be one of the highlights of my career.”

Freakred

“I have been wrestling for a number of years now and I have had some BIG matches at BIG events but none of them come close to Titania. It's gonna be f***in awesome and, even though the fans ain't f***ing important it will feel damn good to walk out infront of them and know they are there to watch every single thing you do. That is what makes this job so special to me, and of course kicking the shit out of dickheads is also a lot of fun so Titania, for me, will be the biggest thing in my wrestling history and will be something I remember for a long, long time.”

Hypnosis

"Titania? What? Am I supposed to be impressed by that or something? Everything about 21Wrestling is nothing but a pile of shit to me, it's just another place where I get to beat the shit out of Biggs... so no change there."

[Writer’s note: Not a chance in hell]

Jeff Garvin

“So you want to know what Titania means to me, huh? Just to point something out, the question really should be what does 'the Original' Jeff Garvin mean to Titania… While there's no doubt in my mind the pay per view will have struck big in the ratings department, but without Jeff Garvin, it would just be another episode in the half -rate soap oprah known as 21st Century Wrestling. I will make it my duty as the savior of this damn promotion, that this is will be the first glimpse into the future that I have envisioned for all those shmucks watching around the world… This will be pure, natural wrestling at it's best… When it’s all said and done, Titania will stand for pro wrestling, bringing some dignity back to the organization and all those who believe in my dream… Once again, they will have the Garvinator to thank for it. Like I said, Titania will stand for wrestling… And as we all know, I am wrestling personified. The end result?

Titania IS Garvin.

Garvin IS Titania.”

‘Golden’ Glen Miller

“In 22 years as a professional wrestler there have been many highlights, to go with relatively few lows. In that time I have experienced a great number of events, including countless pay-per-views and so-called 'grand daddy's', 'big ones', and so on... But never, ever, not in 22 years, have I been involved in something as big as the build up 21w is giving Titania. And I know it won't disappoint. Everything right now is geared towards success and that is an environment in which I thrive on. Success, stardom, flamboyance; 21w Titania will demonstrate all this and, what's more, I'd go as far to say that it'll be the biggest event I've ever been a part of....

Believe me, that's saying something."

Sunday May 26th, 2002 - 21w Titania
“If you can imagine it…
You can achieve it.
If you can dream it…
You can become it.”

This is Nayomi Dangsta, telling everyone to stay true, stay strong and to keep it real

GCW (GCW.cc) Press Conference - Major Changes
Posted by BradThomas
on May 6 at 2:50 PM

Reporters file into the downtown lobby of the GCW offices, located in Charlotte, NC. Word is buzzing that there is some big announcement on the horizon. GCW lately has been kind of sketchy. The shows have been good, but there has been a great deal of dissention in the ranks, and many people don’t know what is going on in the company.

Of all people, former long-time GCW president Brad Thomas walks from out of an opening in the back and walks to the podium amongst applause from the gallery of reporters.

“I know, I know… you all are sick of me returning after a couple of months of retiring for good, right?” Thomas says as the gallery chuckles.

“As you may or may not have heard, last week I took over the presidency and majority ownership once again of Global Championship Wrestling. Since then our Commissioner, Kasady Smoke, has since resigned from GCW. I am still a little cloudy on exactly who is on the staff here at GCW. I hope to retain Wayne Ramswell, Dave Gilling, and Mark Shannelly on our staff here in GCW. But in the event that we do not, I am sure that we will hire capable people to take their places.” Thomas states confidently as he makes eye contact with several people in the gallery.

“I’d also like to announce the hiring of our newest Commissioner, Adam Costa.” Thomas introduces the new commissioner of GCW, as he strolls out from the entrance area and to the podium. Thomas and Costa shake hands as Adam takes the podium and prepares to address the media for the first time as GCW commissioner.

“I'm thrilled to have been given a chance to help GCW thrive as a Federation. I've been in many Federations and have extensive Leadership experience. GCW is by far the most professionally run Federation of all that I've been in and I look forward to helping it to new heights. Thank you.” Costa beams with excitement as he steps away from the microphone.

Thomas shakes Costa’s hand again as he retakes control of the press conference.

“The decision of naming a commissioner for GCW was one that I pondered for several days. Other considerations were Wayne Ramswell, Dave Gilling, and Mark Shannelly. Wayne and Mark, at this point, are rounding out their school years, and I don’t want anything to interfere with their finals or studying. Dave Gilling has yet to be contacted about what we hope his role with GCW will be, at this point. I have also spoken with two other former GCW staff members, Andy Evans and Michael Beasley about coming aboard once again in other roles, but as of yet, I have had no confirmation from either of them.”

“As for the Scheduled GCW PPV GENESIS, it has officially been cancelled. I know this will upset some, and will make some people angry, but I can assure you that we will not sit back on our laurels and rest. We are already in the midst of planning our next Meltdown and formulating ideas for our first PPV in order to get this ship righted.” Thomas smiles.

“But this next announcement should be a real shocker. I’d like to introduce the NEWEST GCW partner, Jeremy Chaplin. Jeremy is a long time friend and former partner of mine. If you recall, he was one of the original owners of ICW a few months back before we merged with Jake Glenn’s PWF. Jeremy is on board once again to ensure that our federation runs not only smoothly, but operates on a level higher than most are accustomed to. Ladies and Gentlemen, Jeremy could not be here today in person, but will be making a statement to the media from his home in Pennsylvania later this evening.” Thomas looks down at the press conference itinerary.

“This goes out to the GCW wrestlers, sponsors and fans. GCW will thrive once again. Today, we have laid a strong foundation on which we will build an empire with hard work and cooperation. At this point in time, we are hiring more talent to our roster. If anyone is interested in applying for GCW, apply at http://www.fwrestling.com/gcw/join1.shtml Thank you.”

Brad Thomas then smiles and waves at the press as he walks off the stage.

IWF: jWo, Miller, Stone Wolf, and Screwjobs, OH MY!
Posted by CHorowitz
on May 6 at 12:47 PM

IWF Blackened wrapped up Sunday night with controversy up and down the card. In the opening bout, after an interruption paid for by the Jenkins World Order, the participants in the match were mauled by a spectre in a horned helmet, that was later introduced to the IWF as Ishan.

But the controversy continued into the Mexican title match, where Midiot's year and a half reign as champion was ended by Nemesis, the man Midiot won the belt from. Nemesis then used this action as the declaration that Blackened would be the night of Nemesis.

Much to the surprise of everyone involved, Dusty Thompson and Michael Manson's Triple Crown title match came and went without an appearance by Nemesis. Instead the crowd was shocked when Dusty Thompson pinned Michael Manson with a Tiger Driver '91, to become Triple Crown Champion. For a moment at least, as Paul Miller made his way down to the ring before Dusty Thompson could even be handed the title belts. Miller declared the pinfall void, as he claimed Dusty had used dubious means to score the pinfall. The referee was dismissed, and Paul Miller counted the pinfall for Michael Manson after Manson brutally beat Dusty Thompson with a steal chair. Miller's involvement remains a mystery, but all that has been confirmed at this time is that Michael Manson remains Triple Crown Champion, and Dusty Thompson suffered no serious injuries.

In the Main Event Nemesis defeated Ashe Draven in an exploding cage death match, but Draven still remains #1 Contender to the Triple Crown title, a fact that will obviously come to annoy Nemesis, as witnessed by the nights events. After Nemesis had claimed victory, he was assaulted by Stone Wolf and Jonathan Marx, who held Nemesis in an STF as the show went off the air. Like Paul Miller's involvement in the main event, Stone Wolf's motives remain a mystery.

After the show went off the air, this press release was sent out.

May 6th 2002

The IWF is pleased to announce the creation of its "Mid South Title" which will be decided on the IWF's Fourth School Yard Brawl Pay Per View. The title will be decided in a match between Donovan Astros and Fury, in what is sure to be a classic encounter between two old school, classically trained wrestlers. The Mid South Title will embody everything that was great about wrestling in the good old days, before the sport became more about gimmicks than about wrestling. This match has been booked as a "Falls Count Only In the Ring, And Any use of Foreign Objects, throwing your opponent over the top rope, and other nefarious means will lead to an instant disqualification match" It has also been called the longest match name in the history of pro wrestling.

Hello wrestling fans!I'm CWWF reporter Mark Klass and boy ole boy do I have some news for you. At the last CWWF edition of Madness CWWF truly lived up to the name of MADNESS!!! The fans who watched the exciting CWWF television show saw two new champions crown and a cage match that ended with a huge bang! That's right. CWWF president booked a match hoping to end the feud between Pitt and Hacker and it just about ended the career of both men. Pitt was hung, Hacker blew up the ring and lets just say the only winner of this match was Data, who walked away with her contract back! CWWF crowned a new World Champion also on that night! Darren Stone who got his start a few years ago in CWWF as Big D won the World Heavyweight Championship from Shawn Hart in a match that will go down in the history books as one of the toughest matches CWWF has ever had.Darren, congrats on your victory! Also winning World Championship Gold was Minor Details, Benny and Mike Minor! Benny and Mike was able to do what no other team in CWWF has been able to do in a long time. They beat Seraphim Death Cycle. Not only did they win but to everybodies surprise they run SDC clear out of CWWF all together! One half of the team of SDC, Jerome Bishop was on release from Jail as long as he held one half of those titles and with the loss ..........The cops took him away in handcuffs. Alex Jersalam did get the last word in as he laid CWWF president Alan Thompson out cold with a steel pipe before leaving. I for one don't think we have seen the last of Alex. Also making his return to CWWF Big Daddy Diamond brought back his men, The Great Destroyers and Diamond showed everybody, that everybody pays the price to the Diamond man! Making good showing on the card also was Suicide, Madd Caddy and Jon Savage. JUST IN!!!!!SHAWN HART WALKS!!!!! Thats right! Shawn Hart has left CWWF because of contract problems. I'm being told by way of headset as I speak........yes....Hart and his team of attorneys has placed a law suit on Thompson Promotions, Cyber World Wrestling Federation! We'll have more on that in the coming weeks. Until next time, I'm Mark Klass...and your not!!!

Token Weed "Dead?"
Posted by Chris Richards
on April 29 at 9:24 PM

The Detroit Star, April 27th 2002

At around 10:15 p.m. across from the Pontiac Silver Dome, shots were fired around, and in Miki's Bar. Many workers had said that Sean Williams a.k.a. Token Weed had gotten into a scuffel with Caleb Ravenell. Fights aren't surprising in the locker room area, and they said that they thought nothing of it.

With in the next 5-7 minutes the first shots were heard firing off into the night. The two then proceded to end up going through a window in the front of the bar, and from the blood scattered through out the bar, they believe the fight stopped on the steps and the two then journeyed too the roof where people in the apartment building said they watched what they thought was a scripted "fake" execution.

The next thing they saw they said was stunning, Sean Williams was shot twice by Caleb Ravenell once an eye witness said in the shoulder, and another in the chest. Sean then fell off the building, and believably into the alley below.

The odd thing about the entire incident? Joe Campbell denies that anything on his show is ever scripted and that the fight apparently was a real battle.

But there's another twist to the plot of this story, when the police combed the area looking a body, they came up empty. The police now believe that local animals had removed the body from the scene. The police have decided in the next two days if the body is not recovered, that they will issue a death certificate for Sean Williams.

The police chief also said that he did not plan to prosecute Caleb Ravenell on the grounds of self defense.

The CSWA's latest offering, ON TIME in Anaheim, aired on NCN Wednesday night. The federation's clip show included the following matches:

Cameron Cruise defeated Nathan Storm with a cradle piledriver.

Kin Hiroshi manhandled Henderson Bramble with the Hiroshi-ma Bomb.

Former Presidential Champ Wicked Sight had to work hard to get a victory over the young phenom Machine.

Apocalypse reunited one of the strangest affiliations in history, as the Hip Hop Express returned to help him totally dismantle the freakish Black Devil Death MastR.

Nate Logan beat Lance Liezure with help from a Kiss The Canvas by Kevin Powers.

In the Main Event, Shane Southern pulled a huge win off, defeating GUNS with "The Party's Over" superkick after interference by Wicked Sight.

ON TIME also featured interviews with former US Champ Lawrence Stanley and Shane Southern's pre-match comments. The Professionals pulled off another hilarious "Masterpiece Professional Theatre," featuring Joey Melton in a bizarre interview with Eddy Love and Sweet Melissa.

The next ON TIME is scheduled to be taped in Portland next week, along with the CSWA's next live event, CSWA SHOWTIME in Las Vegas.

Johnson, Merritt, Ford? Oh My!
Posted by Rudy Seitzer
on April 21 at 3:26 PM

This is Rudy Seitzer with a special edition of the CSWA Rumor Mill here on UPDATE.

You CSWA fans are used to me going through the in-and-outs of the lockerroom and beyond... but this one goes even further.

Rumors have started running wild since World Wrestling Revolution hosted its first Friday Night Main Event in Washington, D.C. It was the WWR's first major televised event since their road back to popularity.

I've received vague information that they WWR's mysterious Mr. Johnson is in talks with the IWO's Thomas Ford and the CSWA's own co-founder and top exec Chad Merritt. Whether these talks are regarding co-promoted events, financial partnerships or even talent acquisition, I'm not sure.

The three companies certainly employ different strategies, and long with them, varied types of talent. Their economic strategies are also diverse, and there seems like little room for common ground there.

The fact remains: if there is any sort of buyout, merger, or partnership, financial, talent-related or otherwise, this could mark one of the major milestones in the sport since the formation of the Unified World Championship in 1993.

As always, I'll keep you updated as the scoops come in.

CSWA SHOWTIME Preview
Posted by Bill Buckley
on April 20 at 2:04 PM

Following the second edition of CSWA: ON TIME, the CSWA returns to a LIVE broadcast on NCN from the MGM Grand's Garden Arena.

CSWA SHOWTIME in Las Vegas features:

UNIFIED TAG: Simply Stunning vs. The Professionals vs. Aho/Southern

The Unified Tag Titles are on the line in a three-way tag team match featuring the two teams who battled in a Roofed Steel Cage match in San Diego. Tag champs Simply Stunning may need more than a stun gun to face the wrath of The Professionals. But there's a twist in this one... the third team features CSWA World Champion Evan Aho and his sometimes-partner, former Greensboro Champ Shane Southern. Six men, six champs... but only two titles up for grabs.

Eli Flair vs. Mark Windham

Two top former champions in the sport face off in a grudge match that's been building since before ANNIVERSARY 2001. Former CSWA World Champion Eli Flair has recovered from his injuries sustained at ANNIVERSARY, and even had the chance to go after a handcuffed Eddy Love. But former Unified World Champion Mark Windham stepped in the way, and he's made no bones about the fact that he's lost all respect he may have once had for Flair. Huge stars... huge match.

PRESIDENTIAL: "Triple X" Sean Stevens vs. Tom Adler

The toast of the wrestling world at the moment, Triple X, defends his CSWA Presidential Title against former AAWC Universal Champ "Mr. Magnificent" Tom Adler. Adler has had a long, sometimes quiet road back to this title shot, but in San Diego, it looked like he's ready to make waves again.

Jones/Walker vs. Machine/Hiroshi

It's a battle of CSWA rookies. These four men have faced one another, and now have been forced into tag teams to go at it again. The next step on the ladder could be imminent for the winners of this match.

It's CSWA SHOWTIME in Las Vegas, LIVE on NCN!

CSWA: PRIMETIME in San Diego
Posted by Bill Buckley
on April 20 at 1:57 PM

CSWA PRIMETIME in San Diego hit the airwaves on NCN, featuring three matches on top that could be Main Events anywhere in the world, PLUS the announced retirement of "Good God" Kevin Powers.

In the undercard, Machine defeated Paul Michaels and Kin Hiroshi beat "Fearless" Jones. Former first-ever CSWA World Champion Joey Melton made his return to the ring, defeating former Presidential Champion Cameron Cruise. Nathan Storm beat Tsunami in a hardcore-fest, expected from these two men.

JJ DeVille kept the Greensboro Championship around his waist, defeating Shane Southern by DQ when Southern refused to let up after the bell. Southern got the pinfall, only to have it reversed by referee Manuel Juarez. DeVille, who never won the title in the ring, gets his first 'successful' title defense.

Simply Stunning retained the Unified Tag Team Titles by defeating The Professionals inside a Roofed Steel Cage. The boys from Britain showed a new do-anything-to-win style, using a pre-match attack to weaken the Pros; and then having a stun gun slipped inside the cage. The Professionals won the match by disqualification.

"Good God" Kevin Powers got his final moment to shine, or so we thought. Partway into his retirement speech, Eddy Love and Sweet Melissa decided to intervene with a little poetry. Then, a few minutes later, CSWA co-founder and owner Chad Merritt decided to hurry things up. But just as Merritt was about to put Powers out to pasture, "Risque" Roseanne Fairhurst found the loophole of all loopholes. Long story short, "Good God" remains in the CSWA, and delivers a Kiss The Canvas to Merritt to boot!

US Champion Hornet successfully defended his title in a huge match against "Triple X" Sean Stevens.

The Four Corners Grudge Match featured four of the top wrestlers in the world: former three-time Unified World Champion Mike Randalls, former Unified World Champion Mark Windham, and former CSWA World Champions GUNS and "Hurricane" Eddy Love! In a wild match that run almost thirty minutes, "The Living Psycho" himself, Mark Windham, came out with the win by pinning Eddy Love.

That wasn't the whole story by a mile, however.... "Devastating" Mike Randalls once again showed why he's known as the most dangerous man in the sport, handcuffing GUNS and Eddy Love. While Randalls went after GUNS for his part in ANNIVERSARY 2001, Eli Flair came out from the back to go after Eddy Love. Randalls was very clear about his motives to Love saying, "You want to find my enemies? Well guess what pal? I CAN FIND YOURS TOO." And if that weren't enough, Mark Windham got back in the mix, spearing Eli and ending up battling both Eli and Randalls.

In the Main Event, Evan Aho retained the CSWA World Championship over Wicked Sight in a tight contest. Aho was methodical, working over Sight's shoulder, while Sight used his bursts of energy to deliver semi-lethal doses. In the end, GUNS made an appearance by attacking Wicked Sight, apparently in payback for their recent jaw-fest.

GCW: MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT
Posted by BradThomas
on March 22 at 12:40 PM

Today, we step into the future of e-fedding. Rumors have been swirling around that GCW in fact may close down. To a degree, that is true. GCW, as we have come to know it in the past four years, is assimilating with All-Pro Wrestling, owned and operated by Chad Darracq, otherwise referred to as “Profit”. We will merge our federations equally into one Mega Fed, and keep the name Global Championship Wrestling, and the address, http://www.gcw.cc .

We will consolidate the roster, forming one single roster. The roster will be large, but there is a plan in place that I will outline later on in this briefing.

THE OWNERSHIP

The ownership group will be Brad Thomas, Jake Glenn, and Chad Darracq. Each of us will have equal control of the federation and all of its entities, but will vote in regards to major federation decisions.

Brad Thomas – 4 year Efed veteran, most of which has been spent as a federation owner. 25 years old, from Concord, North Carolina (just north of Charlotte). My occupation is a graphic designer/Webmaster for Carpenter Industries. I worked for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets for a short while as their Senior Graphic Designer. I am married, and have 2 sons: 6 years old and 5 months old. My contact addresses are Brad@gcw.cc, AIM-Batgrafixbt or batgrafix, MSN-Batgrafix , Yahoo-Batgrafix

Jake Glenn – Participated in E-Feds for the past 4 years...Participated in G-Feds for first of 4 years. 18 years of age from the Pacific Northwest had experience in owning E-Feds but information on that is not known at this time. Is a high school student currently in his senior year...Contact information is as follows reignjg@yahoo.com , Jake@gcw.cc, AOL IM: nightwolf242 MSN: darkangelhour@hotmail.com

Chad Darracq – 2 Year eFed vet, all as an eFed owner with the ICW and APW. I am 30 years old, (Shutup, it's not that old!) and I'm from Sacramento, CA. My occupation consists of a worn out chair and my fat but sitting on it due to Disability, (Brain Tumor...it's not a Tuumar. "My best Arnold S. impersonation!") I have a 10 year old son and a 12 year old daughter. My contact addresses are: cdarracq@softcom.net, or Chad@gcw.cc AIM-Rexonator2000.

THE STAFF

As of this moment, the staff is still under consideration. Chad is bringing his VP/Commissioner of APW Brian Rice (aka Commish Walsh, aka), Titan as a staff member.

Brian Rice - 33 years old and a vet of both the ICW and APW. He has been the commish all two years. He works for an Air conditioning and Heating Installation Co. here in Sacramento, CA.

As for GCW, we are keeping all of the previous staff on board.

Neil Parkin, Wayne Ramswell, Jeremy Chaplin, as well as Dave Gilling

As of the moment, all of the staff members are equal in power. Their duties will be outlined in the next few days. All staff members will have an equal vote in major federation decisions.

THE NAME

The name of the new consolidated federation is Global Championship Wrestling, or GCW for short. The Only reason we are keeping the name GCW is because I personally own the domain name, GCW.cc. This in no way implies that wrestlers of the former GCW are in any way more important or more privileged than the wrestlers coming over from APW, or vice versa. Everyone will be evaluated on an equal basis.

TITLES

APW will bring the current titles over from their federation. GCW will assign Titles shortly. There will be one Main title, the Universal Title, that will be open, and will be competed upon by the *current GCW and APW Champions after once month. After that match, the APW and GCW Main titles will cease to exist, and one Universal Champion will be crowned.

The lesser titles will be eventually consolidated.

SHOWS, PPV

As of right now, plans are that there will be one Massive Show each week, complete with pictures (screen captures of the N64 game “No Mercy”) within the match action. If this becomes too daunting of a task, the show may be broken up into 2 separate shows.

As of right now, plans are that there will be one Major PPV every Two months, reason being that in the efed world, our shows are naturally more exciting each week than in the real world, and there needs to be proper buildup for the PPVs. In the real world, they have a PPV each month; and we all know that most of them suck, and are just there just to make money. We aren’t making any money, but we want to have the best show possible. 2 months between PPV’s will allow for proper buildup of Major PPV angles.

The outcomes will be decided by 1) Role Plays (75%), 2) Angles (15%), and 3) No Mercy Simulation (10%)

Title shots are open to anyone, EXCEPT for the Universal Title. Universal Title shots are granted sparingly, and only if you are a top tier Role player, generally. Sometimes we like to teach people lessons the hard way… so keep this in mind, if you *Think you deserve a title shot, you might want to ask the staff first before you make a fool out of yourself and ask for a Universal Title shot.

Titles do not have to be defended on every show, but MUST be defended at the PPVs.

ROSTER

With a roster as large as the one we are predicting, it will only allow us to keep the people that participate. If you are inactive for two continuous weeks, without notice to the staff why you are inactive for said period, you will be deleted from the fed, no questions asked. If you leave, or if you are deleted, you will not be permitted back until the next GCW PPV.

ROLE PLAY INFORMATION

In the APW, it has become acceptable to attack other wrestlers, or give other wrestlers actions within your Role Play without prior consent. This will no longer be tolerated. – However – We will make the following concessions…

If you want to attack a wrestler in your RP, or include a wrestler in your RP, you MUST have prior consent from that wrestler to use him in your RP. – OR –

You can have an attack placed on the wrestler, just as if it were within the show, if the wrestler is unwilling to cooperate with you in the RPs. This will be done by Brad Thomas, and Brad Thomas only. It will get too convoluted if all of the staff members get involved with that aspect. The attack will appear on the Main GCW page, as a news item and will be archived within the Shows Archive. So this is the way you CAN attack people, have an action against another wrestler without their consent. – HOWEVER – you understand that the attack IS at Brad Thomas’s discretion… meaning, you can attack another wrestler, and then the other wrestler could retaliate and kick your ass… you take that risk when you submit the attack. Just like in Real life, everything seldom works out exactly as you plan it… so take that into account.

CLOSING

If anyone has any problems, please contact one of us and we can discuss the terms and stipulations of the new merger. Good Luck, and Have Fun!

The Final Four: Soul Survivor
Posted by Luke Capone
on March 17 at 3:40 PM

A goal is set to accomplish one dream of millions of little boy and girl, divided even more, a chance to complete that dream for those who have full grown into this wrestling industry. This is the Quest for the Best, to find the Soul Survivor.

I am 21Wrestling’s newest reporter for FWrestling, Luke Capone, and I am here to start and continue a tradition to come years from now. Unlike, *Ahem* ASSylum’s, Chris Richards, I will write nothing but the facts. As for rumors…sure if I feel they ring truth enough.

The main focus recently on 21Wrestling is none other than the Soul Survivor tournament. Sixteen of 21Wrestling’s finest superstars have volunteered and the final four have been chosen. From the start, the competition has already risen in the air as the mood backstage sets from easy going to thick with anxiety. The names still in the tournament are as follows:

Sanchis Su Idolo
Boswic
Biggs Dangsta
Hypnosis

All great potential champions, each of them having their own personal conflicts they must conquer.

The biggest underdog surprisingly on the tournament list, is no other than Boswic who ended his two month losing streak by defeating Rayne. He was reluctant to hit the feisty woman the entire match but in the end he locked in the Silencer and grabbed the victory. It had been a hard past couple months for Boswic, after losing to Golden Glen Miller at 13th Hour, it seemed as if his life was crashing down on him. Rumors of suicide were not taken likely, although I think they are personally farfetched, you never can guess Boswic's emotions because whether he's down in the dumps or on a high, his persona always remains the same. His successful victory over Tyke destroys any doubts of his competitive attitude and he will be a well known favorite regardless if he is the underdog.

On the same note of depression and pain, ex tag team partner of Coby Wright, Tyke, has been known to quite moody and snappy recently. I, personally, went up to Tyke on Uncut and asked him a few questions. I asked Tyke if the recent loss of his wife had been a factor in his character change against the fans liking. Tyke’s face went rigid with anger as he snarled, “Dont talk to me about Jordan! You didn't know her! So how can you ask about her?!” I further asked questions about Tyke’s son, Robbie, he was reluctant to answer any of those questions.

Continuing down the final four, we have Hypnosis. His recent signing in 21Wrestling has left him nothing more than what Biggs Dangsta notably called him, “an outcast”. In Asylum he is a giant favorite face and hated by the Asylum roster as they think he’s a wrestler, but as he entered 21Wrestling the fans hate him and so do the roster since they think he’s a fighter. A confusing twist but Hypnosis has proved himself to be a dangerous part of this tournament and odds of him winning are high. Could this be the push he needs to be in main event status? What about the ceasefire between him and Biggs? Will that stay in tact?

The main event is a story to be told. The alliance between Golden Glen Miller and Mike Ritz had been shattered as the main event between GGM and Biggs versus Ritz and Freakred came to a close. Both men gathered ex-tag team Hostile Grounds members, Biggs (in GGM’s corner) and Freakred (Mike Ritz’s corner). With little hatred left between the ex-tag team champions, it shined throughout the match, hopefully for the last time.

Yet it does seem the feud between the two is over, Freakred’s attention seems to have set on the only female 21Wrestling member “Rayne”. I asked Freakred what was on the tape that he so heartedly is eager to get back, Freakred looked at me with cold eyes and said bluntly, "Its important shit mate. If that little bitch do anything to it I wouldn't hesitate in breaking her apart. And this is off the record alright?"

Of course, nothing is off the record here.

Sanchis Su Idolo’s surprising victory over Freakred is a key factor in his chance of winning the tournament as well. He, in my opinion, has the best chance of winning it. Unlike the rest of the tournament members, he does not have any conflicts with the other roster members and has his eyes set on gold. His good winning record and his title history speak for itself as he takes on his opponent at Soul Survivor.

To conclude, Soul Survivor seems promising to say the least. With such great matches as the tournament itself and the main event to the Hardcore Battle Royal. Soul Survivor has the chance to be the greatest pay-per-view to hit 21Wrestling to date.

For the convenience of those who have took their time to read, the PPV preview is now up and here is how it stands:

21w World Heavyweight Title Match
'Golden' Glen Miller (c) vs Mike Ritz

World Title #1 Contendership [Final]
Semi-Final A Winner vs Semi-Final B Winner

21w Hardcore Title Match - Hardcore Battle Royal

vs Rayne vs Mystery 1 vs Mystery 2 vs Mystery 3 vs Mystery 4

OSW Slam! Preview
Posted by Shanda Russell
on March 15 at 10:43 PM

Saturday, March 16, 2002
Live from Charleston Chew Center in Charleston, SC

This week's edition of Old School Wrestling's Saturday Night Slam! will roll into the Charleston Chew Center, in the heart of scenic Charleston, South Carolina, with OSW fans still abuzz from the shocking ending to last Sunday night's Crowning Glory Pay Per View!

Below is the official card, as published by OSW officials.

Card subect to change

Singles Match
VS

Vampir Nosferatu vs Propaganda

Propaganda brutally attacked Vampir Nosferatu and Epitome of Evil, using a steel chair lay both men out with a sneak attack.

Now, the deeply religious, Southern Baptist, Propaganda will make his official OSW debut, on equal and fair terms, against the Soul Harvester himself, Vampir Nosferatu in a one on one matchup.

Tag Team Match
VS
Jesse Ramey & Rhett Locke vs Michel Krieg & Tom Walczak

The newest member of the Red Army, the massive German Michel Krieg, made his OSW debut last Sunday at Crowning Glory, by not only costing Jesse Ramey his match his match against Tom Walczak, but a shot at the #1 Contender's spot for the International Title as well.

Now Ramey and newly crowned International Champion Rhett Locke once again find themselves with a common enemy, this time the Red Army. Locke also has to keep an eye open for Corg, who left Locke bloody and battered on Sunday, warning the new champion that he was not only coming for him, but his International Title belt as all.

Singles Match
VS

Great Dragon vs Epitome of Evil

Great Dragon made a shocking return to OSW last Sunday at Crowning Glory, partnering with Vampir Nosferatu to defeat his former liege, Epitome of Evil and Lennox Lanthrop.

Sources backstage have said, however, despite the fact Great Dragon forced Lennox Lanthrop to submit, he would not be satisfied until he forced The Dark Liege himself, now known to be Epitome of Evil, scream in pain and tap the mat himself.

Great Dragon will certainly have to keep his guard up during this contest, as his former fWo Survivor enemy, The Magi, has made it clear that he plans to make Dragon's life a living hell in the days and weeks to come.

OSW World Tag Team Title Match
VS
Frankie Bones & Drew Hostyle vs Civil Disobedience (c)

Civil Disobedience's post match celebration after winning the OSW Tag Team belts at Crowning Glory was cut short by Hostyle and Bones, who attacked already bloody and beaten 'Kings of Surburbia.'

After Crowning Glory, Hawke and Masters were apparently so intent on revenge, they demanded a match with Bones and Hostyle, even putting the tag team title belts on the line to esure the match happens.

Both teams have enemies of their own, who would like nothing better then to cause a little havok during what promises to be a fast moving, high risk matchup.

Main Event
Tag Team Match

VS
Meanstreak and Ivan Stanislav vs Heresian Bloodlust

OSW Commissioner Ed Novak made it abundantly clear at Crowning Glory that he was not happy with the conduct of Meanstreak as of late, punctuating the point with several shots from his fabled, nail studded, barbwire covered chair he affectionately calls Bob. With that being said, Novak has always despised Stanislav, who put the Hardcore Legend out of wrestling a close to a year ago, when both men were still working for PCW.

So, what better way for the Commish to kill two birds with one stone, by putting mortal enemies Meanstreak and Stanislav together as a team, to take on the Duo of Destruction, Azrael Cain and Hessian.

How long will the Monster and the Russian Bear be able to work together, before their intense hatred for one another boils over? Also, what role will Novak play, in the outcome? Stay tuned to find out.

Also scheduled for Slam!, we will here from the new OSW World Heavyweight Champion, Sebastian 'Switchblade' Toomes and OSW owner Jane Reagan, as well as the man they screwed out of the title, 'The Samoan Silencer' Timo Bolamba.

We will also chat with the latest addition to OSW, The Magi, have a sit down with Doug Troy and get an update on the medical conditions of Scott Naket, Clay Vendetta and Tempest.

So be there at 8 pm EST on Saturday for all the wild action that is OSW Saturday Night Slam!

USWA: Championships and Other News
Posted by Laura Martinez
on March 13 at 8:11 PM

History was made this past weekend as three new champions were crowned at the USWA's debut on pay-per-view, "Where Eagles Dare." The show, which broadcasted live from the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, featured performances from the legendary hard rock band, Iron Maiden.

The first-ever USWA World Tag Team Champions were crowned when Team Kamikaze 2 defeated The Kingdom, Python & Hacker and The Ragin' Guns in a four-corners tag team elimination match.

The first-ever USWA National Champion was crowned when Lindsay Troy eliminated six men in an over the top rope battle royal. In the process of winning the title, Troy and her good friend "The Enforcer" Jake Maxis turned their back on the fans and joined President McCann's "House of Pain." President McCann fired all the remaining members of the "House of Pain" except for Risk. President McCann vowed to make Risk's life a living hell because feels that Risk failed him.

The top prize in the USWA, the USWA World Championship, was decided decided in a triple-threat match between "The Southern Beast" Brody Hansen, "The Enforcer" Jake Maxis and "Reckless" Tommy Ryan. Although the fans were firmly behind the Patriotic Tommy Ryan, it was Brody Hansen that came away as the victor. Brody Hansen probably received a great deal of inspiration from his mentor, former UNIFIED Champion Hellion, who had a front row seat.

In perhaps the biggest news of the night, the McCann's announced that the company was in financial dire straits and that 50% of the company would be sold on the stock market. CWA owner, Josh Weiner dropped a bombshell when he announced that he purchased those stocks and that he and an unnamed partner would be partners with the McCann's. He then went on to state that the CWA and USWA would be merging to form the USCW. More information is expected to given at a press conference on Friday.

WWL Happenings - 3/13/02
Posted by Emanuel Gonzago
on March 13 at 12:25 AM

Hello everyone, Emanuel Gonzago here for WWL Happenings. It's been a crazy time for the World Wrestling League, as at lot has gone done. As proven with the most recent WWL Rush television show at the Consenco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Manson is on a non-stop tour de force, willing and able to dismantle seven years of the legacy that the World Wrestling League stands for. With Ashe Draven and apparently Suicide himself, it seems as if there's nothing stopping Manson's quest for an all out jihad against the WWL superstars.

But even with Manson's antics and Doc Silver's powerhungry struggle with Andrew Medina and Bob Morris, the Tri-State Terrors and Jean Rabesque and King Krusher will go to great lengths to stop their ways. But can they do this while at the same time fight amongst one another? We saw at Rush Joe Massacre attack King Krusher in the ring, but got the score settled with Krusher and Jean Rabesque fighting back. We also witnessed a hainus attack on "The Extreme Icon" Hellion by Manson, Draven, and Suicide, but it appears as if justice was somewhat severed as Suicide was at the brunt end of a massive beating by the Tri-State Terrors.

The question remains however if Suicide is TRULY with Michael Manson, with him attacking the insane, diobalical wrestler at Salvation. Only time will tell, but this isn't the only thing happening in the WWL.

With wrestlers such as Maelstrom, Nevada Smith, Minion, and Golem under one arena, you know there's going to be trouble. There seems to be tension between the two native Pandorians, as Maelstrom tries to fight off the attacks of Minion and Golem, both of whom seem to be aligned with Nevada Smith, with his deranged sidekick and supposed "brains" behind the operation, JC.

Let's not forget Larry Tact finally losing the WWL-Tri American title against Zak Conrad and Dizz in a handicapped match on Rush, but due to the antics by Gideon S. Darkheart and Captain Nappi, collectively known as Corporate Conglomerate Incorporated, Dizz became the offical Tri-American champion, as Zak Conrad will be out of action for a few weeks. But it doesn't end there as CCI is ready to dish out a 100% of corporate punishment on Larry Tact and Pat Gordon, as these four men have been having their own little war.

The WWL Television Title Tournament is going great, as we come down to just four men, as King Krusher, Joe Massacre, Anarky, and Copycat are all looking to claim a title since their debut for some, return for others, in the WWL. Can the ring contain King Krusher and Joe Massacre at Salvation? Will Copycat continue on his quest to upstage the rest of the WWL wrestlers or will Anarky take his newfound determination to make it to the top?

We have all this plus three title matches at the next WWL Salvation show at the Savvis Center in St. Louis, Missouri, as the main event pits three of the biggest wrestlers to step foot in our sport with the WWL World Heavyweight Title is on the line, as Jean Rabesque gets set to show the WWL he needs "No False Hype, No Gimmicks Needed" by defending his title against the self-professed God of Wrestling Doc Silver and "The Extreme Icon" and former World champion, Hellion!

Fans, you can not miss this event, as we are coming to you LIVE.....RIGHT into your living rooom. If you want to check out the full card lineup of this tremendous event, head on over to http://www.fwrestling.com/cgi-local/fw/fw.cgi?az=list&forum=FWForum3&conf=FWConf2 to check it out! And don't forget to pay a visit to the up-and-coming, brand spanking new OFFICIAL WWL Website, where we will host everything you love about the World Wrestling League and MORE!

Well, we're all out of time, but be sure to catch us on TV at WWL Salvation. This has been Emanuel Gonzago for WWL Happenings! Thank you and good night!

fWo Sunday Night Slaughter for 3/10/02
Posted by Pete Russo
on March 11 at 9:52 PM

LIVE from the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.
Show Attendence: 20,577

Slaughter opened up with a confrontation between Mufanga Kagos and Ice - doing his best impression of an early '90s "rapper" (and we use this term loosely). N-word, please; there was definitely something brewing between the two.

The first match of the night was a hardcore match between Donaven Winters and Eli Flair, non- title. The stipulation here states that if Flair wins, he receives a Hardcore Title shot at Cyberslam. The match was brief but intense, ending in a draw when both men connected with their weapons and were counted out.

A commercial break followed, featuring Abusah as an M&M.

Next up was Lance Knight taking on Grendel. Grendel outweighed the rookie, and had taken control for the majority of the match. However, Lance Knight proved his resourcefulness by taking advatage of Grendel's cockiness - and was able to catch the big man in his "Knightfall" finisher for the pinfall. Afterwards, Knight asked for assistance leaving the ring.

Monte Burns vs. Black Quicksilver was next. Before the match, Burns ran across Tempest backstage, creating something of an awkward moment as she ignored him and her presence was obviously distracting.

The match itself was a battle wherein BQ pulled out the victory. Burns seemed somewhat distracted, but Black Quicksilver was simply too dominant for the former Cruiserweight Champion this night.

A Scott Slugger promo followed, wherein he spoke about Jim Dudley and his victory at the first CYBERSLAM. He emphasized that this is the biggest stage that the fWo offers, and he asked a simple question - "Which man or woman will be the next fWo Legend?"

Wretch and Mufanga Kagos teamed up against Jon Crisp and Ice next, with both the confrontation earlier in the show between Kagos and Ice fresh in the fans' minds, not to mention the continuing animosity between Wretch and Crisp. The match itself was a knock- down dragout, giving Ice and Crisp the victory when Ice knocked Mufanga Kagos out with a loaded Vanilla Ice CD when the referee was down. Speculation runs amok as to what, exactly, the Vanilla Ice CD was "loaded" with.

Lance Knight requested the remainder of the night off from Chris Universal, and was granted it. He looked like he took a pounding against Grendel, and a few extra hours of rest certainly couldn't hurt.

The Main Event of the night, Austin Davis against Erik Kelly, featured fWo World Champion Ruben Ross on color commentary, as he offered his opinions on both Davis, his Body Count opponent, and Kelly, his CYBERSLAM opponent. These men put on an amazing show, back- and- forth wrestling that got the fans on their feet. A DDD didn't get the pinfall for Davis. The Truth didn't get a submission for Davis. Kelly's attempts at his Eradication powerbomb were thwarted by a low blow and a counter into the Deadly Game.

No three count.

Showing the strength that found him victory at Body Count, Erik Kelly was able to gain the momentary upper hand and waste not a second this time, landing the Eradication on Austin Davis for the three count.

Afterwards, Kelly taunted Ruben Ross in an attempt to lure the Champ into the ring. This was able to capture the attention of most of the people in and around ringside, allowing Scott Slugger to come from behind and nail Austin Davis with a baseball bat. He taunted Davis and proceeded to challenge him to a match on next week's Slaughter.

Davis added a stipulation to the match - making it a career match. Slugger dropped Austin Davis with the bat, and hit him with the Curveball to put him down once again. In the background, Ross and Kelly were still nose- to- nose.

End credits.

Whiskey War Returns with eWu
Posted by Doug Wells
on March 10 at 3:13 PM

That's right, wrestling fans, Chairman Ernie is bringing eWu back to Pay-Per-View, and he's doing it with the return of his most famous Pay-Per-View ever: Whiskey War. Whiskey War first originated as Ernie's brainchild when he worked as Commissioner for the Computer Wrestling Association, a Canadian based indie promotion.

Big Dog Thomas put the CWA World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the Enigma to headline the card. Also featured were a Threeway Texas Chainsaw Massacre Match for the CWA Hardcore Title between the Raven, Red Leaf, and the Gunslinger; a Triangle Match for the CWA World Tag Team Titles between Foundation members Mike Gordon and the Raven, The Joker's Cards, and the CWA World Tag Team Champions, The Rebels. The first ever Crock O' Gold Ladder Match happened at the original Whiskey War when Pat Gordon put up a Crock O' Gold in a Ladder Match against NaTaS member CykotiK.

This year, eWu Whiskey War 2K2, only the second Whiskey War Pay-Per-View ever, and the first to be hosted by the eWu, also has a very promising, not to mention innovative, lineup. The card will begin with a Grudge Match when Loser's manager, Jerry the Tard, who went AWOL recently when he lost his meatball, takes on Bango the Clown, who served as Jerry's replacement during his absence. Jerry recently returned to the Loser at the special Battle Royal edition of eWu Air Raid, the eWu's last card. The action doesn't stop there. Paul Paragon and Kevin Race go face to face with Hardcore Heavenly. The Whiskey War 2K2 card also has a Tag Team Dumpster Match which puts the team of JC and Bob (Jesus and Mad Caddy) against their rivals The Advocates (Volma and Antares). In order to win, one of the teams has to be thrown into a dumpster that will be placed at ringside. America takes on Canada as eWu veteran and former UEW star, Dustin Oliver, faces "Simply Canadian" Sammy Mercer. The second Crock O' Gold Ladder Match will be held as the first ever IWF World Champion, Xtreme, takes on former UCC Ultra Title Champion, Joe Massacre. This is a Ladder Match, with a Crock O' Gold suspended above the ring. The winner gets to keep the Crock O' Gold.

After that, eWu Whiskey War 2K2 features a Triple Main Event, starting with the eWu Kamikaze Championship Trailer Trash Battle Royal, another first in wrestling. In this match, the combatants will fight on top of trailers in a trailer park in Burton, Michigan. Once you hit the ground, you are eliminated from the match. The winner is the last man to be standing on top of a trailer. Next is an eWu World Tag Team Championship Scaffold Match as defending eWu World Tag Team Champions Team Kamikaze 2 face xTc and a partner yet to be announced. xTc's normal partner, Special K who makes up the second half of x2k, was recently injured by Team Kamikaze 2 at the special Battle Royal edition of eWu Air Raid. Scaffold Matches are something you don't see much of anymore in wrestling, but they're something Chairman Ernie is fanatical about. Finally, eWu Heavyweight Champion Shawn Hart defends against the man he eliminated in the eWu Heavyweight Championship Battle Royal to win the title, Dusty Thompson, in a Bullrope Match.

eWu Whiskey War 2K2 has an exciting line-up that is not to be missed. The card is subject to change, and titles may change hands on the upcoming eWu House Show in Port Huron which leads into the eWu Whiskey War 2K2 Pay-Per-View. So don't miss the return of eWu and Whiskey War to Pay-Per-View!

CSWA: Doubleshot Preview
Posted by Bill Buckley
on March 9 at 3:15 AM

The CSWA continues its West Coast tour with stops in San Diego and Anaheim! The San Diego Sports Arena plays host to CSWA PRIMETIME which features a huge lineup including:

The CSWA World Heavyweight Title is on the line as young champion Evan Aho defends against Wicked Sight.

The match everyone has been talking about since ANNIVERSARY, the Four Corners match between Mike Randalls, Mark Windham, GUNS, and Eddy Love. Between them, they've held dozens of championships, including the CSWA World Championship on multiple occasions. There's no love lost as these four step in and see who comes out on top.

Triple X issued a challenge to the United States Champion. And while the title is on the line, XXXstasy's goal was simply to get Hornet in the ring. The reasons are less than clear, but with Poison Ivy close at hand, we may find out if a love triangle truly exists.

And the time has come, "Good God" Kevin Powers steps into a CSWA ring for the last time, to make good on his promise to RETIRE.

Also on the card:

  • Unified Tag Team Titles: Simply Stunning vs. The Professionals in a Roofed Steel Cage
  • JJ DeVille defends the Greensboro Title against the man who never lost it, Shane Southern.
  • Joey Melton returns to claim former glory against Cameron Cruise
  • Kin Hiroshi vs. "Fearless" Jones
  • Paul Michaels vs. Machine

And then all eyes turn to the second edition of CSWA: ON TIME up at The Pond in Anaheim, CA. The Professionals have promised to cause another stir with their patented talk show, this time featuring Poison Ivy as a guest!

Shane Southern and GUNS have done their talking outside the ring...but they step into the squared circle against each other for the first time to settle the score.

Also on the card:
  • Nate Logan vs. Lance Leizure
  • Wicked Sight vs. Machine
  • Apocalypse vs. Black Death Devil MastR
  • Kin Hiroshi vs. Henderson Bramble

And if that's not enough for you, there's still CSWA SHOWTIME in Las Vegas to look forward to. We'll cover all that and more on the next CSWA UPDATE with Bill Buckley.

tA: The Truth (8/3/01)
Posted by Chris Richards
on March 8 at 3:38 PM

Hello there wrestling, and presumably fighting fans, I’m Chris Richards… welcome to the first edition of what I hope will be a weekly, or at the very least monthly edition of the Asylum report.

I use the term hope, because sadly… I have no idea how long I’ll be able to provide such updates, Joe Campbell, owner of the Asylum realm… continues to publicly express his hatred and contempt for the wrestling sport, thus unfortunately… I have no idea how long it will be before he pulls the plug on this project.

Hopefully, this won’t be the case… as its my belief that the public would benefit greatly from learning the inner works of the Asylum, common knowledge is that Mr. Campbell reveals very little when it comes to anything off screen, hopefully… I can shed a little light on this, and help people understand a little more.

I’m sure many of you are asking “What is the Asylum?”… and to be honest, that doesn’t surprise me, many of you are much more accustomed to the mainstream Wrestling promotions, fWo, CSWA… 21st Century Wrestling, the list is long… tune into TNN every 10pm on a Sunday Night, and you’ll get a glimpse of what “tA” is about.

The promotion has been running somewhat strongly since December of 2000, the month where Campbell kick started a new trend in televised sport.

“Fighting”… but not the sort of fighting that the average fighting fan is used to, the common misconception is that Asylum is fighting gone wrong, this however… is not the case, Campbell combined Fighting elements with something he knew couldn’t fail… fame, securing multi million dollar television deals, a solid merchandising structure and huge fan base, the American dollar alone has done enough to bring Asylum up to present day.

But enough delving into the past, the present is the issue at hand, so without further a due, here’s the scoop on what’s new in the Asylum world…

Starting on a sombre note, I’d like to thank and apologise to all well wishers of the late Kodiak Vic Creed, the former Asylum fighter who passed away following a televised match with fWo’s own Scott Slugger weeks ago, as of yet… Joe Campbell has made no official statement, and sadly… due to Creed’s other profession, it is highly unlikely that he will, thank you to all those who sent their condolences.

Injury Report: Following Asylum’s gruesome in places pay per view, Conflict… several fighters are said to be in considerably bad condition… both Rave Caprino and Inmate were said to be in a bad way following their brutal fight for number one contendership of the Asylum title, Inmate was treated for several deep lacerations following an incident which involved him being thrown through a video wall, and was also speculated to have been kept in overnight at hospital following an attack which involved Rave’s girlfriend and valent, Natalia shocking him with a tazer, Rave Caprino was also rumoured to have been in a bad way following the bout, but refused medical attention toward a shoulder which was suspected to be dislocated and possibly fractured.

Caprino and Inmate weren’t however… the only casualties of Conflict,,, Hypnosis also exiting his T.V. title defence in defeat, and bad shape… after being beaten repeatedly with a sledge hammer from double champion Villam Ender, Hypnosis fell all of fifteen feet through the roof of a cell structure, he’s believed to be currently taking some time off air to concentrate on his career in rival promotion, 21 Wrestling,,. This however, has been rumoured to have gone down very badly with some figures backstage.

Another casualty of Conflict, although not physically… was former champion Angel Dalton… who has reportedly requested a month’s leave following inner turmoil’s, we’ll have a full update on this as more information arrives.

In other injury news, Asylum’s Sunday Show also saw a few injuries… Carnage reportedly in a bad way following a match with sadistic Villam Ender.

Stephanie Connor reportedly underwent scans on a knee injury following Nerva’s refusal to release a submission hold, we’ll also have more news on this as it arrives.

In other news, newcomer Milo Samus also left the Sun Devil Stadium somewhat shaken following what could almost be described as a mauling at the hands of Token Weed, Milo however… was said to have impressed many of the fans attending, even if not the Asylum owner.

General News: In the general news, it would appear as though Campbell has taken measures in recent weeks to sufficiently bulk up many area’s of the roster… the most prominent appearing to be the team division… which has undergone somewhat of a makeover with the arrival of Pain & Suffering at Conflict… since their arrival however, a number of signs have pointed toward another team’s introduction being imminent, the only prominent clue thus far being a sign in the crowd reading “Silent Assassins”… what this means, remains to be seen… it did however seem to momentarily catch the eye of the former PIW duo.

In similar news, it would appear as though Roland Miles Ermann, or LLB intends to make his stay with the Asylum somewhat of a permanent thing, Ermann… who left months ago following a terrible streak of defeats at the hands of Angel Dalton, returned at Conflict to take an extremely costly revenge, following an on air confrontation with Joe Campbell at the beginning of the Sunday Show,,, it now appears as though a challenge has been firmly laid down.

I for one, was extremely surprised at the appearance of young, aspiring… and somewhat talented wrestlerMilo Samus at this weeks Sunday Show, I felt a little sorry for him as Asylum is a massive sidetrack for what could be a solid career in professional wrestling, and I certainly hope that he doesn’t intend to make his stay with the company a permanent one, it would be a terrible waste of talent… but the match on Sunday proved that not everyone is willing to give the newcomers a chance, Token Weed sending out a clear message to the rookie.

As reported on The News a week or two ago, it would appear as though Azrael Ravenell or former jOlt Wrestling fame may have close ties with the Asylum, wether or not this will lead to a contract for the former jOlt International Champion, remains to be seen.

Up & Coming: I can exclusively reveal some information with regards to Asylum’s up and coming pay per view; Mind Games in an announcement which will be seen here first on Fwrestling.com

The news is with regards to a very special match taking place at the event, a match that will determine who will go on to face the Asylum’s champion at PPV spectacular, Fight.Hell.2.

In what has yet to be released, I can reveal that some of the rules for the bout will be as follows.

- Fighters will be drawn at random, and will enter at 2 minute intervals.
- Many Asylum fighters will be involved.
- Elimination style, fighters can be defeated via Ringout, Knockout or Submission.
- The winner will pick up a shot at the Asylum championship at Fight.Hell.2.

The show will be talking place on the 30th of March, and will also feature an Asylum Championship match, as well as many other titles being on the line.

That’s all for now, thank you very much for your time… this is Chris Richards, signing off.

Shawn Hart Wins eWu Championship
Posted by Doug Wells
on March 8 at 1:15 AM

Thursday, March 07, 2002- The extreme Wrestling union hosted a sold out Air Raid, its first sold out program since its return, at the IMA Sports Arena in Flint, Michigan. The program featured a Battle Royal with nearly thirty men competing to be the first eWu Heavyweight Champion crowned in four years.

eWu Chairman and Owner Ernie Perina brought in some of FW Central's biggest draws for the Battle Royal, including Jasin Bondage, Bobby "Ice" Mitchell, Dusty Thompson, and "The Phenom" himself, Shawn Hart. Suicide and KRoW also worked the program. The addition of these stars combined with an already solid roster made for a very promising evening. Fans expected a great show, and the eWu delivered.

Everyone fought intensely, but it was Shawn Hart who walked out after a somewhat controversial, yet somewhat fair ending. as the first eWu Heavyweight Champion in four years, and the first ever to be crowned on FW Central. This also marks Shawn Hart's first ever Heavyweight Championship. He has come close to winning the
IWF World and IWF Triple Crown championships on several occasions, but has never been able to grab them. Shawn Hart has finally claimed a promotion's highest prize.

When asked to comment on his eWu Heavyweight Championship victory, Shawn Hart responded, "This means you have to call me Champ now!"

CSWA: Post- Anniversary Thoughts
Posted by Poison Ivy
on March 8 at 12:31 AM

Miss me? I know y'all did.

Anniversary has come and gone, and a lot of questions are answered. A lot of things are finally clear. The ClaimStaker experiment has finally died its last death, wrapping up one of the most morally ambiguous stretches of time in CSWA history, with one message being echoed perfectly clear at the tail- end of it all.

Don't Cross The Boss.

Rest In Pieces, Claimstakers. Anniversary 2000 - Anniversary 2001.

The war might be over, but the battles remain, and at this point, it might be a good idea to take a look at the casualties to this point.

Troy Windham - Physically, it's no contest to say that Troy has lost the most. The most recent medical report lists his condition as stable, whatever that means. In this case, probably that they won't have to amputate anything, and that he's eating solid foods again. Anticipated Date of Return - Unknown.

Eli Flair - Add up the physical and mental losses, and Eli is probably on a par, if not ahead of, Troy. At least Troy could trust his partners, but Eli and Hornet had a falling out that led to almost all the events of the war's final act. His current status is as a stubborn bastard who needs to take just as much time to recover as Troy, but refuses to do so. Anticipated Date of Return - He's already back. Anticipated Date of Paralysis - Currently taking bets.

Eddy Love - The Only Way to Defeat the Devil is by Siding with his Enemies. Eddy has brought forth the wrestling equivalent of a "Plague of Locusts O'er The Land" with his part in bringing GUNS back to the CSWA. Sweet Melissa is back in his corner, calling the shots on who her Revenge Tour 2002 will target next. Sure, he did what he said he'd do and strike at Randalls' achilles heel, but I don't think he realizes what it could potentially cost him.

Mike Randalls - Mikey has always been a little crazy, but the sight of Eddy Love and GUNS, arguably his biggest enemy of the moment and his biggest enemy of years past, standing side by side - did little to dissuade his concentration on the matter at hand - his match. Of everyone involved in this war, he had the least to lose and the least to gain. Of everyone involved in this war, Mike Randalls will come through it just fine on the other side.

Hornet - Ya reap what ya sow, is all I can say. All it would've taken for he and I to NOT have had our particular falling- out would've been a simple "By the way, Ivy.... before we got back together...." I never pretended to own Hornet, but to have had a relationship with a STD breeding ground like Teri Melton and not have told me is a real bastard thing to do. I suppose I could be a vengeful ex and say that Hornet got his just- desserts by taking his personal lumps at the worst possible time. Merritt is nothing if not vengeful.

Teri Melton - Teri had a one night stand with Hornet and took money from Merritt to claim she was pregnant. I suppose I could be angry at her for destroying my relationship with him, but I'm not. I feel sorry for her. She's well- educated, she's got a real mind for this business, but she wastes it all by flaunting her body all over the place. Hey, it's all she knows how to do, and a rich, well- paid prostitute is still a prostitute.

Where do I stand? I'm in the same place I always have been, on my own side. I agreed with what Hornet, Eli, and Randalls were saying when they took on the world at Anniversary 2000. I believed in Eli Flair's anger with the way the fans almost immediately dumped him in favor of Deacon the moment the title changed hands - a title change that Eli Flair has yet to receive any form of rematch over, I might add. I believed in the fact that Hornet had essentially been the workhorse of the CSWA for twelve years, at that point - and was essentially used as a ratings tool when necessary. After all, what was better in the mid- 90s, than watching Hornet chase the World Title? And I thought it was horrible, the way the CSWA officials would constantly encourage and provoke Mike Randalls to go farther and farther until people complained, then he was shipped to Green Valley until the next time they needed him to run roughshod over the CSWA.

But I didn't agree with putting Sweet Melissa through a table. I didn't agree with Eli and Troy taking their private war to a new level. And I certainly didn't agree with the way half the conflicts were political maneuverings and backstage one upmanships. When things got as brutally personal as they did.... my patience and my nerves were frayed to their absolute limits.

I didn't take any kind of revenge. I didn't plan any kind of revenge. For that matter, I don't want any revenge. I excused myself from the situation and left the CSWA for a short time. At Anniversary, I found a new purpose and a new reason.

The politics almost destroyed the CSWA once before.... and if it's destined to happen again, I don't want any part of it. You can have your Hornets and your Lawrence Stanleys and your Eddy Loves and your Troy Windhams and your Mike Randalls and your GUNS and your Eli Flairs and all the others.... when the smoke clears and the dust settles, when the bodies are carted out and the survivors are assessed, there's a limitless potential in the midcard waiting for their opportunity to shine.

Don't believe me? Ask Triple X, who went out there and challenged Hornet.

Ask Wicked Sight, who has a Title Shot with Evan Aho.

For that matter, ask Evan Aho about making the most of an opportunity.

Veteran superstars in this sport have always talked about the midcarders being jealous of their status in the main event. It's not jealousy, it's ambition. And it's not the ambition that will bring these men to the top.

It's the fact that Evan Aho, Triple X, Wicked Sight, Shane Southern.... have but one political agenda.

Win.

This is Ivy.

GCW Unleashed - The Elite 8
Posted by Brad Thomas
on March 7 at 11:54 PM

This week, Unleashed continues with the Luck of the Draw tournament for the Universal Title. Last week, there were 8 winners... and 8 losers. The losers of the first round still have a chance to face the winner of the tournament at the PPV, more details will be announced as they come available. But as for the winners, they face the uncertanty of who their next opponent will be this week in thier quest for gold. The Elite 8 are:

Aaron Justice: Could face ally Justin Mayhem in this round. A big man with a log of girth and strength. a budding fan favorite.

Seth Gecko: A brash young superstar that definately has what it takes to take it to the next level and be the first GCW Universal Champion, but does his ego outweigh his chances at GCW GOLD?

Stevie J: Hardcore as they come... but will his big mouth lead to big problems for his relatively small body in the ring against quality opponents with Gold on thier minds?

Justin Mayhem: Could face ally Aaron Justice in this round. Not a big man, but a cagy and gifted athlete that can make things happen in and out of the ring.

Koven Orion: Perhaps the most gifted athlete in the Federation. Has the strength and skills to be #1, but does he have the self confidence to go all the way?

The Russian Destruction Machine: No doubt, the strongest man in the Federation, but does he have enough wrestling skill to stand toe to toe with a technical wrestler that can pick him apart?

Reign: One of the most daring competitors in the game, but will he make a fatal miscalculation and go for a high-spot instead of going for the win? Another budding fan favorite.

The Scholar: Undoubtedly the most intelligent man in the Federation, but does he have that vital mix of Brains and Brawn that is Critical to advancing to the next round?

We'll find out the answers to these questions and MORE, this Week on Unleashed....
