BREAKING
NEWS
The CS
TRIBUNE has just learned that Kendall Codine, aka Blade, has been
reinstated by CSWA Chief of Staff JW Locke. The decision to
'rehire' Blade was made during the CSWA
PRIMETIME in Norfolk card by Commissioner Merritt and CoS
Locke. Blade's match against United States Champion Lawrence
Stanley has been reinstated for PRIMETIME in Yakima, although in
a non-title match. If Blade wins, he will be granted a title shot
at WW8.
In
addition to signing Mike Randalls to a two-year contract last
week, the TRIBUNE has learned that CSWA
Commissioner Chad Merritt is attempting to sign former four-time CSWA
World Champion Hornet to an ongoing deal. Hornet's previous
contract with the CSWA was dissolved last year when he used an option
clause to end his six-year, $150 million contract a year early.
Rumors have it that Merritt has offered a similar deal for a shorter
period of time, but Hornet has refused to accept. Hornet is
currently involved with the CSWA on a per-appearance basis. He has
been very clear that he is not interested in signing a contract.
If the two
sides are unable to reach an agreement, Hornet could be banned from all
CSWA events.
Commissioner
Merritt released revisions to both CSWA PRIMETIME in Yakima as
well as WINTER'S WARRIORS VIII.
The Unified Tag Team Title match previously scheduled for Yakima has
been moved to WW8. While Simply Stunning won the
controversial Norfolk Battle Royal, Merritt has ruled that Unified Tag
Team Champions The Dark Carnival will also defend against former
champions SWAT Team in a three-way dance with Extreme
rules. Both contenders have additional matches scheduled for
Yakima against the No Limit Soldiers and Strictly Business.
Also
signed for Yakima: Presidential Champion Alex Wylde puts
his title on the line against former Greensboro Champ Aaron Douglas.
Greensboro Champion Wicked Sight gets his wish, as Merritt has
ordered Hornet to accept his challenge.
Also
Signed for WINTER'S WARRIORS VIII: Mike Randalls accepts
the challenge of Alex Wylde in his return match.
Winter's Warriors in May?
Yeah,
yeah, we know it's not winter anymore...but if you're new to the CSWA,
then you may not realize that we were out of commission for the most
part for the first three months of the year. WW8 is the
next pay-per-view, followed in June/July by CSWA ANNIVERSARY 2000.
The action is heating up as the CSWA nears its premiere event.
If you're
interested in joining...then you better know someone on the insid, or
else e-mail us with a great reason why you should be in. Few slots
are available based on our discretion.
